He does have kind of a cool name though.

I have never passed on a TF because of the unfortuate name that someone at Hasbro has given it. In fact, most times I don't even remember the name after I have torn it out of the package, I just call it what I call it. Like the Target black repaint of Cybertron Armorhide. No idea what it's called!

That would be Armorhide

I'll definitely be getting the Beachcomber one too, mainly for the G1 reference. I had him at one point as a kid. He was one of my favorites if I remember right.

I didn't say I would pass on it, just that it's slightly less cool since they chose not to simply release him as Spoons. Of course they can always retcon him into actually being Spoons, and Deadlift is a really awesome name, so maybe that part will work out eventually. It's true though, Hasbro is great at giving bad names, ones that don't fit, or ones that are just plain wtf? crazy. Like the original version of the figure in question for example: Dirtboss. That's an awful name regardless of who it's attached to, let alone a forklift. Yeah, yeah, Spoons is a ridiculous name too (forklift = Forks?), but it's from Gobots, and Gobots were just weird to begin with! I understand what you're saying, I still buy cool looking TFs regardless of the name on the package, but tell me something -- would Optimus Prime be half as awesome if Hasbro had decided to name him Red Truck? I don't think so.
RE: Energon Is My Drug
Yeah, Trenchmouth is pretty nasty sounding. Perhaps a little too nasty... conjures up images of some sort of disease. :p

I'm pretty sure I saw these the last time I looked for TFs at Wal-Mart, and that's been weeks ago now...
