And thanks to the concept artist David White we get a new helping of designs for War for Cybertron - the Nintendo DS version that is.
The designs are of Cyclonus, Grimlock, Swoop and Bluestreak. This gives us a great opportunity of seeing good, clear artwork of the designs.
While we have mirrored the artwork, you can click here to see the original postings on David White's DeviantArt account.

That said, the original poster needs to install a spell check program ASAP. Just saying...

I found one spelling error, and that was due to it just being the wrong word, I do have a spell checker installed, however, it only shows spelling and not Grammar, which was the bulk of the mistakes.
So yea, would be cool if someone could point them out.

Agreed! That Cyclonus is SO my favorite! I know we got a couple Cycloni of late, but this would look delightful with the other WFC deluxes!

Megatron Wolf, I've played a lot of Nintendo DS games and I would say the graphics were fairly good, the difficulty felt a little harsh at times, but it wasn't nothing I couldn't beat, I actually liked the difficulty because a lot of DS games are waaay too easy. Both versions had me and my brother engaged for at least 3 weeks, most games get old after the first week.
That said, it definitively had some flaws, like the dark energon pools that have various effects (either they damage you, kill you or return you to the start of the section), the laser power being useless against the majority of the enemies, bosses that tend to get really nasty when you're under-leveled (this being a portable game, I just save or close the system and take a break until I feel strong enough to beat them) and cheaply done "cut scenes" (calling them that would be an stretch) that lack dialogue when you pass the mission, except during the so-called "ending".
There two major letdowns, however, the inability to fight against Megatron (or Optimus if you picked the Con version) in Story mode and the lack of a free-mode like the one featured in Transformers 2007 that ROFT also lacked.
And because the music isn't that bad, the characters were done well, the voice acting was good and the graphics were fine, plus I only encountered one glitch and it was a rare one that I'll never find again (unlike TF 2007 that was INFESTED), I give this game an 8.5.

STrange that they even bothered with Cyclonus, he looks great an all, but in the TF timeline he didn't even exist until last year, there was never a Cyclonus back on CYbertron, so if they did include him no matter how kool he looks, the fact they have put so much effort into the story would ruin it for me, I hate to see so much thought put into something be blemished by a school boy error. I'm surprised I'm the only one who's mentioned it, I'm usualy really bad at story technicalities, I guess everyone has overlooked it due to looks.

I think that looks are part of it but also the fact that we are so far along in the TF mythos and there have been so many reboots of the TF line that the "gray" areas are becoming larger between all the different stories. The younger fans coming into the Transformer universe are hard pressed to keep everything straight if they try to follow it back further than 10 years. Some of us old schoolers have a hard enough time just keeping 25+ years of the US and UK stuff straight without even trying to throw the Japanese lines into the mix.
But enough about that...I just have to say that I think I actually like the WFC versions of Swoop and Grimlock better than the War Within renderings of them. They are very similar but the WFC versions are just a bit more streamlined and detailed out and Cyclonus as well looks a lot better detailed and has just enough more bulk to make him look brutal but not so much bulk to make him appear as if it would slow him down any.
These are all excellent picks and I'd snatch up the whole bunch if they were to make figures for these.

Uh, no I don't. The character designs were one of the things I hated most about that tedious, barely playable crap. These look better as drawings than the mostly awful clunky 3D models in the game but I can't help thinking of raspberry ripple ice cream when looking at those reddish energy line things.

Cyclonus looks none too different from G1. Not surprising since he doesn't need a complete revamp (like Scourge, Shockwave or other bots who were using Cybertronian modes anyways).
I'm still royally pissed they never made DLCs for the computer version.

Marvel UK had him and Scourge created in 2006 but transported back in time to Cybertron's distant past where they came under the command of Scorponok and went on to become Targetmasters when he led them to Nebulos.
It's a pity you can't get these as downloadable content for the XBox. Though my biggest problem with the downloadable characters is that you can't use them when you replay the game itself.
Be nice to see Bluestreak in Prowl or Smokescreen's colours though they share their design with Streetwise/star and Rapido these days.

This is exactly how I feel. I feel the same way with Animated every time I hear "what would have been" in Season 4.
