An image has been found online with the usual purple scribbles blotting out most of the image. However, we are still left with enough to make out that this is the front of the istruction booklet for Studio Series 42 Longhaul. While it may be fake, we still wanted to share it with you until proven so. The toy is stated to be a voyager class toy of the character that appeared in Revenge of the Fallen. A new toy for him would be interesting to see since unlike most other tys released in the studio series so far, the original Long Haul toy was of that same size, accurate enough and stellar overall. It has even made our list of Top 5 Toys from the First Trilogy.

Let us know if you are excited for another Long Haul!

If they found a way to make these guys combine this time, I would be totally down for SS Movie constructicons. otherwise, pass

Ditto.
Unless they are characters that were never done before.

Call me crazy but I actually kinda want an Onslaught out of this mold. He did absolutely nothing, sure, but he was a cool design with a really neat altmode and he'd make a good crowdfiller.

Regardless though, this looks awesome and I want him. Long Haul was one of my favourite of the Bayverse designs.

Problem is, if these guys combine, devy isnt going to be in scale ;) plus demolisher's robot mode is massive in the film compared to Optimus, how would they handle that?

I get confused. Demolishor had a robot mode? thought none of those combining ones did. And Long Haul was not part of Devastator in the film so he wouldnt combine.

Wait, wasn't demolisher the one at the begining of the film which Prime kills execution style? I do get confused with how that scene plays out, where they combine, problem with reusing the same alt modes.

There were multiple demolishers. He was the dude at the beginning in China that said the Fallen will rise again and he was at the end that created Devastator

I just checked the wiki. I guess the decepticon that combines into devastator was named Scavenger. Identical robot though. One is whiter than the other but still. If they combine I doubt they’d do two of the same with a different name.

Then again...bumblebee...

There's multiple of each of the constructicons. There's one Long Haul that was a part of Devastator, and there's one that was taken out during the air strike. There was even one that showed up for a second in DOTM.

Just play along with the idea that there are two sets of Construction Vehicle Decepticons in the movie: one with individual robot modes, and one that combines into Devastator. Not interchangeable

So we got Rampage, ze little one called Scrapmetal who bares resemblance to Scrapper (*groans*), Hightower, and now Long Haul. All we're missing are Mixmaster and Demolishor.

Take note that the "42" is the Hasbro ID nr, and that the TakaraTomy "SS-" one will be different.

C'mon Hasbro. Give us the Titan scale Movie Devy that the minority of us have wanted since ROTF Devy sucked ass (Giant not Legends). We'll need Mixmaster god forbid he might be even harder than the Original to transform, Scrapper, Scavenger and Rampage (Red)

Don't we still need to fill in the gaps for at least a dozen or so that haven't been numbered up to that point?

Honestly, it varies between like 6 and 9 I believe. I wouldn't mind just the 6 or even 7 from the RotF toys.

I just really really really want a proper combining Devastator

The mind blowing aspect you may not have considered is a combiner made of 6+ figures of SS quality.

We can't nice things like that.

Movieverse figures are not my primary focus. I pick and choose, sometimes out of morbid curiosity, sometimes out of random luck (found Grimmy at a salvage store). I have been very impressed with the studio series line so far and I hope Hasbro keeps at this (amazingly at retail) semi-premium*, semi-collector* oriented line.

*personal opinion

They are my thing, and I am enjoying the line, and it's great to see some characters finally done proper and given justice, so I share you opinion that it keeps going.

I'd prefer we get a Devastator, some Wreckers, Bonecrusher (my favorite movie Con), Jetfire (hopefully that combines better), and a Dino before the line ends. I wouldn't mind a dedicated/proper Infernocus as a leader figure either.

Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian Terrsolpix, we have word that the wave 4 Studio Series voyager Revenge of the Fallen Starscream is now up and available for order on Hasbro Toy Shop! This figure is a repaint of the wave 1 voyager Starscream in his Revenge of the Fallen deco, complete with all kinds of Cybertronian tattoos. He also features a new accessory in the form of his saw, replacing his missile launcher. This is a new trend in the Studio Series, which has been seen now with Lockdown (melee weapons to gun) and Ratchet (saw to blaster), and is expected to be seen with Optimus Prime (swords to blaster).

Head on over to the site now, either by clicking the above link or the image below, and let us know if you pick this guy up and what you think of him when you do!

HTS has a pretty erratic release schedule, but I wouldn’t say much later than mid-late November. Screamer was the first wave 4 figure to release so dropkick shouldn’t be too far behind.

We're at no. 30 now, with 32 Optimus Prime redeco, and 36 Autobot Drift with baby Dinobots added. Also, we have SS-31 Cogman, SS-32 Scrapmetal, SS-33 Rampage, SS-24 Bonecrusher, SS-25 Optimus Prime or SS-30 Optimus Prime, SS-26 Jetfire and SS-27 Megatron that are still awaiting their Hasbro ID's.

That leaves... *counts* 3 unknown characters, 2 of which are Hightower and Dino... ok, only one then.

They've got DotM Megatron and RotF Jetfire at MCM London today. Only seen the one pic so hard to tell what they're like but look decent from what I can see. Though Megs looks a bit blocky especially in the legs so hoping it's just mistransformed or something. Jetfire has his axe! :)
Wondering if the lil thing with Megatron is Igor the head who is apparently the head of Long Haul.

screw it. I'm showing the pic. I was trying to find the original source (and in higher quality) and credit but I can't and I hope whoever it is can come claim their cred.
But here's the pic I found on insta for now.

I was supposed to be at the con either today or tomorrow. I could have taken pics myself and got to see the new figures in person but nope I got asked to do a small role in a local play. I mean the play itself is a lot of fun and I've made new friends and having a good time but damn, i wanted to go to the con and see some folk and these new Studio figures. I am eagerly awaiting more photos of them that i am not there to take. :P

Thanks to fellow Seibertron users, Terrsolpix and Carnivius_Prime, we've got a special picture to share from Hasbro's MCM Convention booth in London, UK! The picture shows new Leader Class toys of Dark of the Moon Megatron and Revenge of the Fallen Jetfire!

Image

Of special note is that this time round, Megatron's cowl is actually a piece of fabric and not moulded plastic as before. Jetfire also includes his Axe from when he joins the battle in Egypt.

While we'll no doubt have better pictures from the actual event, feast your eyes on these reveals for now and let us know in the Energon Pub what your thoughts are. Stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews.

Ah yeah I didn't even think of that. The original RotF Jetfire toy had a massive jet mode and curious to see how this one turns out (please let it hide more of the robot stuffs) and the robot form we see here looks oddly quite clean and accurate so where is the jet? Maybe he doesn't combine with Prime this time and this results in a more concentrated and accurate jetfire overall? Who knows? (well..the toy designers probably)
Also that Megatron truck mode looks pretty darn huge too (and man I love all that spiky stuff at the front). :O

Looking again at the picture, I see that Jetfire look quite nice. I'll buy him only if he properly combine with Optimus though.

As for that Megatron, I really hope he's misstransformed. Because he feel really like a "2007" leader with all that blockyness.

A new Jetfire is pretty exciting. I really like the original, despite its flaws. My desire for him is actually the opposite of what i want from the Constructicons. I really don’t want them to combine, because I don’t want the individual bots to suffer for it. I do, however, want Jetfire to combine with the new OP coming out. It could be done a lot better this time around. Plus none of these SS leaders have those electronic components that took up so much space, and really hampered the transformation. Without that gimmick, the end result is bound to be much better, without diminishing either individual figure.

It’s a little hard to see Jetfire properly, but hopefully we’ll get some clear, well lit shots of him later. That Megatron, though...

I’m glad to see that it’s DotM Megs, and that he has an actual cloth cape this time around, but I’m a little let down when it comes to that bot mode. I’ll hold off on forming any concrete opinion of him, until we get some clear photos, but those legs are ENORMOUS! I’m hoping he’s mistransformed, because his entire lower legs are just huge rectangles. I also have this thing against big folding panels on the outside of transformers forearms. That’s probably just my own pet peeve. Then there’s the blocky shoulders. I feel like I’m coming down hard in this figure, especially since we only have the one image so far.

I’m hoping like hell that I’m way off on that Megatron figure.

I hope Jetfire does combine with Optimus but only if they use parts forming. part of the problem they had with the old mold is that it was trying to use one thing. In the film Powered up prime was, effectively, optimus with parts of Jetfire grafted on if they have him go to bits and be attached like that, even if they don't incorporate all of Jetfire (it makes more sense like that I think, I doubt they needed the whole corpse for the upgrade) then I'll be happy.

Looking at the poses of the figures, I think Megs needs a nice pose to show what he's capable of, and given the figures we've had do far, I think the proper pictures will impress. I agree with you on the costructicons kanra

Damn, that Megatron's gonna be big. I hope he doesn't scale too awkwardly with Optimus (unless we're getting another, bigger Optimus later). He does look pretty awesome though.

And Jetfire looks incredible. I'll reserve judgement until I see the jet mode though.

Yeah. That's what I was gonna say when I got home just now. I'd rather the Jetfire figure have parts that come off to attach to Prime (whether it's the current mold or a new one) rather than trying to stick an entire leader class figure onto him. Studio Prime is one of my absolute fave figures for posing and articulation and I'd want a jetpowered Prime to still be very posable too which is really difficult to do when trying to mesh two figures together like the old RotF Leader combo.

It's amusing that some folk want combining constructions and other people want to forsake that in favour of higher quality individual bots and some folk want a combining Jetfire and some want a more focussed singular figure or at least not use the whole thing for Prime's jetpower kit. Hasbro are stuck here cos they really can't please everyone. :P

Also yeah I like that there's no electronics in Studio series. The old Jetfire figure had a very blocky body and this new one looks much more slender and one likely reason is not having to contain all the light and sound stuff inside. If I want a figure to 'talk' I'm fine just having sound samples on my phone and play those when playing about with my figures. :P

By the way was the camaro Bee mold always intended to have the Rebekah's Garage clip on bits for car mode? Cos it does have the rectangular holes on it I always wondered what they were for. Like Hasbro planned that kit from the start?

Yeah that's what I pondered on the last page when I posted the original pic. If so then it's a nice extra. :)

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. He looks like he’ll be way bigger than our current SS Prime, but if that’s an excuse for a slightly bigger DOTM Optimus I am totally on board!

I don’t think I can say anything until we see the renders and close-ups, but Jetfire’s head looks huge and kinda. . . Unsettling. I’m really excited to see his SR-71 mode though.

Well megatron is bigger than Optimus in the movies. I don’t mind that he’s bugger I’ve only been getting Decepticons from Studio Series but I understand if people are getting everyone or most.

He is quite blocky which threw me off not complaining until we see a full reveal of him but it does remind me of how well done the original dark of the moon was. One of the few original movie figures I still have because I love him so much.

It's mainly his lower legs I'm worried about. They look like they should be able to compact some more and maybe the shoulders could hide those wheels. DotM Megs is his blockiest version in the movies anyways. That badass truck mode has already got me wanting the figure even if the robot isn't great. Hopefully we can see a pic without the cloth tarp so we can get a clearer look at the figure itself.

These definitely don't look completely transformed so I'm going to save my full judgement till we see official renders and toy owner pics.

The sculpting however looks pretty nice especially on Jetfire.
