You should get it, it's very well done and this sounds like one of those figures which will increase in value over time.

Too bad he's sold out everywhere.

I didn't realize that either. I don't think they're all that since most of them were warped in package due to the soft plastic. TAV21 can really only hold the edged weapons as the crossbow and blaster tend to angle down in those specialized grips.

I think it will too. I feel a lot of fans passed on this not realizing the depth of retooling involved.

I find the crossbow an awesome inclusion since Strongarm finally gets her show accurate weapon. While they come with Optimus, I feel they are better for the individual warriors. A big ass sword would have been great to have but it does add to the price.
Also to those still looking for this toy, while he is sold out everywhere, there is still also the bay of e which has him in stock at comparable bbts prices. The shipping will vary on location though: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?siteid=0&pub=5574891718&campid=5336631220&customid=&toolid=10001&mkevt=1&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_odkw%3Dba%20...%20k%26_sacat%3D0%3C%2Fa%3E%26
Seeing all the lack of stock tells me the fans we aware enough of how extensive a retool it was. Every pic showed that this was practically a different toy.

Yes the rubber weapons are meant for the smaller figures. With that said I don't have a Strongarm to try but the regular blaster fits a little tight in my Supreme Mode Bumblebee's hand. In fact when I put it in I thought I heard a crack. Thankfully nothing has happened with the hand.

Just wondering. Does this beat the Sandstorm/Springer case?
Posted by Cobotron on November 10th, 2015 @ 8:33pm CST
Will, if you are asking about Grimlock, I would say on par with Springer/Sandstorm. they both succeed in making the same mold into an almost entirely new toy.
As for Prime, who can say yet?

I was referring to the Grimlock mold. And so are all comments past mine about the weapons. They are commenting by replying to the reviews we newsed.
And thanks for your comments. I have a list in mind and dont have the ranking figured out just yet.

I think it makes more sense that they got their full initial shipment but kept a preorder open to prioritize and sell off the figures they would get when they ordered more after seeing the demand. The ones they havent gotten yet are from a second order they placed or an increase to the first order which didnt get sent in time (final orders are at least 3 months in advance).

Email their customer service. It happened once when I ordered my Platinum seeker set. I had to remind them to inform me that it got shipped via email. After that incident they always emailed me of the delivery.

Thanks! Hopefully it is another case like that
Edit: just got a response. It shipped November 3, so they did forget to send the notification. Cool!

I did. Even with the 30% discount from amiami and the cheapest shipping, the ebay is still cheaper by a few bucks and has one of the best shipping options.

I dont understand, if e-bay has the better deal, why not go for it?
Also, amiami does not cost 35$ with cheapest shipping for one warrior figure, though you may have been talking about something else.

I already bought Bee and he is shipping already. I saw this since i looked up others like Jazz. And amiami cost $28 for Bee right now with the discount and cheapest shipping. I was just making the comparison

Ok I understand now, you were referring to your personal purchase which a the time was the cheapest option. The only thing I can say is that there could have been a chance that it was sold out (like TAV Grimlock) and you might have not been able to ever have that figure. Also next time you will know to be better prepared

haha, yeah true. I just hate that when Ebay beats you out! On a figure that may not have gone past a pre-order! BAH!

Below you will find a slew of images for:
Takara Tomy Transformers Adventures TAV-VS 05 Drift Origin and Jazz
Takara Tomy Transformers Adventures TAV-33 Optimus Prime Supreme Mode
Drift has a new head based on the appearance of the character in the comics and Jazz has a new visor. Optimus on the other hand is having a lovely day since he is all upgraded in shiny chrome and wielding a massive sword worthy of Valhalla's mightiest warriors. Also, check out the minicon interaction which takes things to a whole other level of playability.

I mean I love the 2-packs, but when there are 2-packs with characters that would sell well separate and the 2 pack really isn't necessary, it Drives me nuts. I may have to see if a loose one is put on ebay (same with Jetstorm)

The original doesn't have 200 sound effects. There's a few including Prime laughing and a "hidden" one but not 200.

Then your question has been answered since that box also had the 200:
Transformers Adventures Optimus Prime Gallery
So for this version the 200 would not reffer to something else, like the sound effect. We still have no clue what it means, but it doesnt mean 200 sound effect.
