One of the fun things with the Generation line is seeing how repaints/remolds can get turned around. Case it point, way back when Gears was the original figure while Swerve was the remold. 30 years later with Swerve being a more popular character we see Gears as a repaint of that Legends figure. Surprisingly the joints are a little bit tighter so take care moving them around, other than that this is a fine figure worthy of your collection.

Thanks, I'm losing it this week.

Any time
Swerve and Gears are required purchases for me. I just hope I can find the latter when moving.

He's not part of the "list of 30 randomly picked exclusives and special releases". "Thrilling 30" refers to the line of the year as a whole.

If those were applied and the area surrounding the head were simply blue, I think it would resemble the original character a lot more.
Saying this for customizers out there... and because I plan to paint mine this way.

I don't "think" Gears is identifying himself as female in the comics... unless there's something I've missed recently (???).

I seem to recall her using a gun at least once or twice in Windblade's series. Might be wrong though.

I also like how they made the wheel struts out of clear plastic to make them look like they're not actually connected, but rather sort of "float" in place. Really adds to the whole lightcycle thing. I am worried about them breaking, though. Clear plastic can be a bitch.

still i like her enough to maybe buy on line but the postal charges put ya off.

So....why does she have Conehead-faced knees? (Or maybe Cyclonus without his "ears"?) I'm looking at my FE Prime Arcee, and while there are some similarities there, the face-ish area is flat on my Arcee. It looks like they rounded out the area under the knee spikes making a face looking shape.

That's the thing. In the third issue Windblade made a point to mention that Camians don't like using firearms because missing might result in unnecessary damage or destruction.
You might have seen Blurr shoot. He and Chromia look really close in that series.

Also a good point.
To be frank, I just like the halberd. To me, melee weapons can convey a lot more personality and uniqueness than guns can.

I have to agree. I think it would have been a simple enough thing to have re-cast Orion Pax's weapon in translucent blue. It'd save on the cost of molding a new weapon, and it'd be reasonably close to Chromia's weapon in the Windblade mini. Now though, I'm already figuring if there's a way to detach the backpack to turn it into her shield.

Perfect example of how thread merging is a bad idea.

yeah, i've said that before too. i don't understand it.. it SERIOUSLY hinders any discussion on any of these stories.. all of these are lumped together and all of the movie toys discussions are lumped together. it's one of the reasons i rarely ever comment on anything.

Arcee is one of the most dangerous Autobots, despite her comparatively small size. She believes the Decepticons must be stopped at all costs. That belief, combined with her combat training, makes her a pure warrior, a hunter who mixes speed and sudden action to strike Decepticon targets whenever she can. Convert, arm and attack with all the Transformers action you can handle! This Arcee figure is a hardcore warrior in robot mode, and she carries a sword in one hand and a blaster in the other for battle against Decepticon foes. When she needs to chase down the foe, she can convert to Cybertronian Cruiser mode! Whatever mode your Arcee figure is in, her enemies will think twice before taking her on! Transformers and all related characters are trademarks of Hasbro.
Bring home Windblade's bodyguard with Transformers Generations Deluxe Chromia. The blue motorbike can change from a Cybertronian warrior to an Autobot vehicle in no time, and comes armed with twin pistols for Decepticon-fighting fun!
She's the first fan-designed robot! Transformers Generations Deluxe Windblade is a servant to Caminus, Cityspeaker of Metroplex on Cybertron, and the first Transformer that Hasbro let fans design. Along with their own artists, Hasbro let fans pick her vehicle mode, faction, personality, alt mode, weapons, and more - and today, we've got an awesome Kabuki-inspired defender of what's right! With her bodyguard Chromia, she's ready to make Cybertron a better place for everyone... assuming Starscream doesn't stop her! This VTOL jet can change to a robot, and is armed with a swell purple sword - and a a scabbard, to boot!
He's a genius! Transformers Generations Voyager Brainstorm can invent ennui guns and mystery briefcases, all while flying around the galaxy and changing shape. This Headmaster has a tiny robot which changes into a head, and he can also fit inside the cockpit of Brainstorm's vehicle mode. Bring this Autobot weapons designer home tod

American Collectibles is always like that, sellers like them are why Amazon is being sued. Just wait for Amazon to get their stock. If you wanna really laugh look up Surge Soda

I'll keep this brief, Venin isn't that great and rather floppy. Acid Storm is gold. Great mold, fantastic colors, why aren't you ordering this figure now?

Swerve and Tailgate both have considerably darker decos in contrast to Hasbro's versions. There are also additional paint apps and tampographed sigils that the US versions do not feature. Not to be left out, Brainstorm sports a far more detailed deco, compared to the US version. Bringing out details not covered by Hasbro's current offering.

His backpack, which controls the gun transformation, is very loose causing nothing to line up right and the plastic, which was soft to begin with, is really soft now.

I got my Windblade at roughly $19.00 from my local TRU. These prices are highway robbery.
