Nope. It was just out of stock the first time.
They don't 'put up more' for non-Premium members...even if there was an issue affecting untold numbers of customers. But take heart - She's listed on Walgreens, and she was not as of Tuesday. Keep checking there, as she's 18.74 on their website.
Yeah, I haven't had any problems getting Walgreens exclusives for TF or Marvel, so I'm sure it'll be fine. Though Twitter is my primary source for drops and, well, *points at dumpster fire*.
Preternia said he's 'going to post here until they shut it down' so keep using him. He's the man.
I use him too, my wallet hates him.
As does mine

It also makes pretty much no sense but it looks like he could make up part of the Armada starsaber. I guess with another deluxe jet bot down the line
But it makes no sense for this character to be part of that, and it'd be a ridiculously huge weapon. So.... just me with a dumb idea lol

Windsweeper does sound like a solid idea

In other words, you think he's intended as a premold for Hellbat?Nemesis Destron wrote:I think since made amends to fans with Legacy Menasor over that pile of garbage from CW it only seems fair that they do right and improve Liokaiser. Maybe someday over that unknown horizon.
And the last few posts suggested Dreadwind and Windsweeper (and no one loves Hasbro's '88 lineup more than myself!), plus Hellbat being a Dassault Rafale opens up the possibilities of Storm Cloud, Skyhopper, MW Tundercracker and Skywarp and BWII Dirge...
Well, in this new mold, Needlenose may finally live up to his function of fashion designer, if that many other 'Cons end up copying his style.
Or did you mean he could become LeoZack, since the torso is the biggest improvement CW LioKaiser begged for? I need to get going on making one out of PotP Starscream, and Jalagar out of...would it make more sense to have a missile-dune-buggy that turns into a big gun than one that tacks onto LioKaiser's butt?
Regardless, given his height for a deluxe, couldn't they have kept him a tad shorter and used the extra plastic to improve ZigZag and Sunbeam within budget? Oh well, he scales great with Spinister, and I can't pass up any '88 update.

Yeah, my Target has had the same single Elita on the peg for at least a month now. As well as 4-5 Red Cogs and Galvatrons. But between Pulse and Amazon I got all the figures I needed so I'm giving up brick and mortar stores for a while, especially over the holidays.o.supreme wrote:So while wave 3 is just starting to make it's way into some areas. Surprisingly with all the stackable coupons, all the Red Cogs sold at my Targets, but still plenty of old Buzzworthy Terrorsaur, Dinobot, and Kup clogging shelves, and yes Galvatron and Coronation SS ( which is why I have yet to still see Sludge). For some odd reason I was able to sneak in an order on Amazon for Dead End a couple of days ago, but it's always my backup just in case I see it at B&M first, but as you say, I doubt that will be the case.

Pointblank: this is a surprisingly unique and good figure. For one thing, he is surprisingly big, i think to keep him consistent with Crosshairs since he used a big deluxe too. The arms are forgiveable in person, especially with as nice as he feels. He is solid and a lot of fun. I love the head sculpt. The transformation is logical but has some nice steps to make the car work. And the car mode is really fun. It is really slick and good. And the targetmaster also fits in nicely, looking decent as a gun and working nice in car mode. It is a nice package, I like him a lot. I'd rank him my 2nd favorite of the wave.
Crankcase: This one is also a surprise hit with me. I like him more than I thought, considering he's a Skids retool. There is a lot of new work done on the upper body, enough to make him almost feel new. I like how big and heavy his torso is and looks. He looks muscular, even if i wish his shoulder cannons were bigger. I would have accepted some bigger shoulder guns instead of that little skids handgun. Transformation is a bit clashy, but I think I just need to do it some more. I wish the alt mode was a little more "bossy" for lack of a better term, but he's still good. He is my favorite of the wave at the moment.
Skullgrin: this one is interesting. I like his old Generations toy a lot, and his one isn't really much better than that one. I love the head sculpt, but he feels a little too boxy for my liking, and a little too skinny too. I like all the weapons he has, and they make for some great weapon up stances, but he feels a bit lacking. Transformation is surprisingly complex, and the alt mode could be a little cleaner. I don't not like him, he just doesn't feel as polished as Crankcase and Pointblank. Not bad, but he could have used some improvement. He's my 3rd favorite of the lot.
Dead End: this one disappoints me some. The upper torso transformation is interesting, but the lower body does not like to tab together, in alt mode or in arm armor mode. The lower body is a frustrating affair. I like the robot mode paint work and sculpt as well, but the alt mode, I'm not really a fan of this car. CW and Cyberverse did better with the car mode to me. He's the weakest of the lot to me.

Do you think so? Maybe as toys they can be considered equal, but this Skullgrin is much more himself than the original. I appreciated the effort back in the day, but it really is just Straxus with a new head. This is a true mixture of Skullgrin's Pretender shell and his inner robot mode. As someone who had the original I really appreciate this new take. It's a shame the Autobot Pretenders are so vanilla. Maybe we'd see more of them if they had more interesting shells.
As a toy ... I don't get the rubber plastic and it weakens it overall.

I do think so. They're about equal in playability, and while Legacy is more himself, the old one had a better shape and I liked that head proportion better. The new one is a bit too square for my liking, especially compared to the core Pretenders. He's my favorite Pretender, and I own every toy of his, so I speak this from that perspective.

So, circling back around to Pointblank, I still really like him, and consider him my 2nd favorite of the wave's deluxes. He has presence, and he can still throw some good poses, and I adore his alt mode handling it more. This is a good figure, not perfect, but he's still really good.
In other Legacy news, I got Starscream, and Megatron should be arriving today. Starscream is real neat. This is my first Armada Starscream figure, and I like the design. It's a fresh take on the classic Starscream transformation. I wish the wings were a little bigger, and the joints a little tighter, but he's still good. I love the shoulder cannons, they are neat. I wish the weapons were a bit bigger too, but they're servicable. He is good, i like him.

It still doesn't count which characters it is. If the shelves barely have anything, we just can't call them "peg-warmers".
Now, this classic picture I took years ago of The Hive at Toys R Us is a clear example. Those pegs remained full of bees for months. Enough that the Prime 1st Edition Bee was discounted down at 5$CAN and even then, it took weeks for the pegs to clear.
Still, those prices... How things has changed... Now deluxes are 44$CAN at TrU.

An excellent point but alas its all Speed Demon And Lady Beetle
And i realize this is old news by now, but i picked up Core Shockwave out of my box again today and was remind what an absolute delight he is. Similar to the ol Combinar Wars one, special in the legs, but truer to the Siege Voyager just teeny

Odds are no. Canada doesn't get stuff first often. That Earthspark stuff was a fluke. Asia usually gets stuff first due to proximity of the manufacturing.

He has a great presence to him to start. When you flush out his wings like they were meant to be out, he takes up so much space and casts a hell of a shadow. And the paint work on his wings is really good. i love the fading effects on them, and the translucent plastic was used great.
I am OK with the face, I know the problems with it, but I am OK with it.
I love the ponytail still being there, even if head articulation is a little hindered by it. But the entire sculpt with the ponytail is really good.
I do wish the arms had a little more beef to them, but considering the original had that look to it, I'm not that bothered.
His components in both modes tab in pretty solid, so you can manipulate him and mess with him a lot without fear of having him come apart.
The transformation is pretty logical, but it is a fun thing to do. I love how the arms work to get his torso solid and dynamic.
His dragon mode, PHEW! I LOVE IT! It has such a great presence to it, even better than robot mode. He can throw some great shapes, and he looks fierce. The flame effect works well in this mode too, I appreciate that accessory.
So yeah, Megatron gets my seal of approval. He is really damn good. I love him.
Also, Armada Starscream is still pretty good.

Nice. Hopefully he becomes more widely available after all. I also saw him twice in store, the 1st time I grabbed him for myself and the 2nd time for a fellow collector in my area. He really is a fun mold. I hope Hasbro finds another use for him somehow. SG Cosmos would have been a no-brainer IMO.SGMLordMirage wrote:A surprisingly find today at my local Walmart.
