It was never a sure thing and it was just the fans expecting it. It wasn't never announced or rumored

And if Cloudraker and Wingspan mean the box set are cancelled.... did they ever confirm those two would 100% be in the multi person box sets? Or did they just say 'boxsets'. Because this 2 pack is still a box set.

Nothing was ever confirmed. We got two sets and everyone including me figured it'd be four due to the clones and due to how many sets we got from combiner wars. Everything about the sets have been speculation since toyfair.

Expectations were high that we would get four box sets in total because of the "Stat Themes" associated with the first two sets as well. Chaos on Velocitron is themed on "Speed" while Siege on Cybertron is themed on "Strength." The other two major stats tracked in the Titans Return line are "Intelligence" and "Firepower." Having two more sets to cover those remaining stats makes a lot of sense. This is not to say that Hasbro will still follow through with this, but the expectation of four box sets was hanging on some rather convincing, though still circumstantial, evidence.

I 100% agree BUT we've seen plenty of stuff get scrapped over the passed 10 years. The last waves of Animated, Age of Extinction, TF 2010 line. It's one of those things we can't ever guarantee for certain. I've been saying it for months Power of the Primes is coming and Hasbro may just be saying "well we have these couple new molds we were gonna be putting in some sets. Let's just put them in some 2 packs and get them out and focus on Power of the Primes.

They are just box sets of retools and I buy them! I got Velocitron and I got cybertron on preorder but if they don't make 2 more and just release these guys has a two pack than I saved $200 and I got 17 Walgreens in my city so I'll be snagging them and completing my clones. I won't be heartbroken if they don't make "intelligence" and "fire power" sets. I don't care about the card theme at all.

Oh wow, thats a much more extensive retooling than I'd figured- the legs and lower arms seem similar (minus triggerhappy's mahoosive guns of course) but they've totally reworked that transformation! It's a shame to see the fancy legs-nosecone-spin-me-do trick go but I like what they've done with the cockpit/canopy seemingly collapsing into the torso block. Having previously written it off (simply prioritising the new-mold experience whilst on a budget), I may end up picking this one up in the end!
Curious now as to the third mold-mate and which transformation approach he takes, or if they squeeze a third out of it.
Also, props to the reviewer on doing such a solid job on what's apparently their first review, felt very polished and thorough.

Why, you got Brinstorm as a TRU Exclusive in the SEA? He was the latest Wallgreens exclusive.

No not Brainstorm but the Clones are, like i said I'll wait for them, if they don't appear on SEA, i guess i'll have to wait for Overlord :HEADHURTS:

A third mold-mate was confirmed at the same time as Misfire; Slugslinger - who seems as extensively retooled as Misfire.

I think the head being black makes all the difference. Would be nice if the guns were silver or black. Bright pink guns don't look very intimidating.

So...has there been any confirmation yet...Since the clones are being released as exclusive sets, does that mean the two remaining proposed Box Sets have been cancelled? I was thankfully not getting them for the clones, as odd as it sounds I was getting them for the leaders in spite of them being repaints/retools. I know everyone pretty much had different reasons for getting them. Now my only fear is that if the other two are not released, there may be no domestic release of God Bomber.

It probably seems like a reason for the clones are being released is so they can be released somehow with their boxsets being cancelled - and that's a valid conclusion - but there's been nothing said on it yet and I feel they're still coming; for all we know this was likely their plan all along. To me this just means that the remaining boxsets will have Legends class repaints we've been wanting like Eject :P

I just got conformation from RobotKingdom that the two pack is indeed Cloudraker and Wingspan, the Wallgreens Exclusive.

I'm debating on cancelling the order, unless there is proof of the Amazon exclusive being released, or some two pack with the other two. No way am I paying $250+ for the box sets. F-YOU SCALPERS!!!!!

This could just be a classic case of TRU's price-gouging policy. They always charge a premium for their merchandise above and beyond the MSRP and what other retailers will ask for the same product. For some reason, Toys "R" Us seems to think it's an "upscale" store and it loyal customers will pay more just to say they shopped their instead of the dreaded "Walmart." I think this has something to do with their previous ties to FAO Schwartz, you know, before they went under for charging outrageous prices for their toys too.
Re: Video Review of Titans Return Misfire (1894862)
Posted by ZeldaTheSwordsman on July 6th, 2017 @ 8:10pm CDT
Most of TRU's price-gouging is by a margin of 2-3 dollars though, from what I've seen. And I would put that down to them being a strictly-toys store instead of a general goods store like Target.

Keep in mind, though, that this is a TRU Exclusive release, so they essentially hold all the cards with the pricing. There is absolutely no competition for this figure at any other retailer.

Also apparently TRU had a pre-order on Trypticon (who knew??) they are sold-out however and will ship on 8/1. Hopefully this is around when we will start seeing them in North America.

Seibertronian Sammythekat has sent along a brand new, English language review for the highly-anticipated Transformers Titans Return Overlord! The review, done again by Cheftron, shows off the figure's pros and 'cons (heh), just in time for it to start showing up as available in major online retailers, such as Robot Kingdom. Let us know below if the video changes your opinion at all of the figure.

For all that I bashed TR Blaster and Soundwave because of their size, I've been warming up to them.. I guess they could be justified as Powermaster upgrades of the characters or something like that. I'm becoming tempted by them, especially since the design isn't an afterthought like TR Powermaster Optimus Prime.

Speaking of TR PMOP, I had a customization idea for him: Making the trailer roof panels on his arms able to detach and combine into a handheld shield (this would give clearance for his other hand to be able to hold the guns' combined hammer mode. I've also contemplated alternate mounting ideas for the roof panels: from the back of his shoulders Fortress Maximus style, or if I do the shield mod making it able to mount on his back to add resemblance to the original toy.

That Walgreen's exclusive two boxed set isn't out yet? Will it be out after the last Wednesday in July? My comic book bill was way too high from too much Transformer buying. The pink or red one looks cool. I don't know about the other one because it's a beast Transformer, but that looks like a cool couple of Transformers.

I found a Walgreens that looks like it's not too hard to find because I know what street it's on and how to walk to the street and hopefully get on a bus going in the right direction and won't mind saying I found it, but I only have about ten posts to go to lose my title. I sent them an online message, and I asked them to let me know when a package of those two comes in. The address of the one I found is 3299 North Woodland Boulevard, and I'm hoping if I wait at the bus stop that's to the right of Kenny's Grocery store is the right bus stop to wait at. I'll let people know; but I don't see any more titles named after Transformers that aren't hard and expensive to find, so people will have to watch the edits.

Soundwave might be a little big, but Blaster is pretty close to where he should be. Have you ever had the G1? Sucker's one of the tallest autobots in g1.

Cloudraker? He's red unless they color "corrected" him like the movie did to HotRod in some releases.

Well, I'm happy that now Mega has her own Transtector and Giga has one. Sky Shadow and Overlord are gonna be one of the best molds in the Titans Return line :-D

None other than that, they can do the "Space-Jet" Mode by combining the Legs and the Jet itself :x

Wonderful review thanks for no showing articulation see one voyager figure articulation you see them all same as deluxe, legends , leader class and master piece see articlaution on figure is same as watch same movie over fifty times in one week,.

Good figure if I had choose which overlord figure I buy it be third party version it looks little better and you don't put heads in his chest which looks goofy to me he's good cheap figure variation of overlord but I choose save up to buy third party version of over lord

Anyone tried pressing on the center chest of Overlord? If so, what happened? :-?
