Transformers Kingdom deluxe Road Rage is coming to Target in the US in the fall. She will be a red card exclusive, at least at first. It could be that people with a Target Red Card will be able to purchase her first and she will become available to pleebs later. Chefatron made a review of this toy so we get our best look yet at the figure. The only change from Tracks is the head. We also have images from the video comparing the two. This should be a Toysrus exclusive in Canada.

Does anyone else have Galvatron or Rodimus Prime on preorder with Target? Mine are now listed as Backordered. Was really looking forward to getting them. I hope it won't be too long.

I guess to show that this is for collectors and not kids. 15+ is the default collector age range across all collectibles. Don't know if that means he won't be getting an in store release.
I think o. supreme hit the nail on the head when he mentioned the Optimus Prime microfigure. That thing could be considered a choking hazard, requiring an upping of the age range.

Thank you. Although I *may* have spoke too soon. I don't have Haslab Unicron, but I completely forgot the Centurion Drone pack also has a Micro figure, and the age on it is 8+. Unless perhaps there is a different standard for online exclusives vs something produced for standard retail? Also possibly, the safety guidelines for toys in the United States changed in the last year?

Why does Road Rage have a slit mouth going across her whole face?

My Target preorder for Rodimus also changed to backordered. And my Amazon preorder got pushed back to October 15th. At least neither has been cancelled yet.

Under-3 age guidelines for choking hazards are a critical safety precaution for infants and toddlers. I don't think there's a similar requirement for ages 8 and up. Honestly, I think this is just marketing, look at how LEGO has expanded their 18+ product offerings.

Plus, the LEGO movie already covered this:

Yeah, after last years ER debacle with Target, I don't order online from them anymore. I still do ok when it comes to finding items in-store there, but online is a mess. It seems that ordering online is a mess everywhere...the whole point to guarantee you get something because you pre-ordered it, and don't have to worry about hunting for it, that is no longer a guarantee anymore...

I currently have orders with Amazon, Pulse, and (regrettably) Walmart (only for the Netflix seeker and spoiler box because Pulse sold out before they were available to the general public).

Then there's the trend of pre-ordering from multiple sites because you never know which one will have an item in-stock first, then you have to quickly remember and go an cancel all the other pre-orders when an item comes in...I've only got one item like this currently, but I know people that do it for almost every toy, I'd go crazy trying to keep track of all of that.

For anyone who places orders through Hasbro Pulse, make sure you download the Shopify app. I don't know if Pulse uses them for fulfillment, but all of my orders show up there in an itemized way, and it's much easier to track and update orders through the app than directly from the Pulse website.

I know most everyone has been critical of the $50 fee, but I paid it willingly. I've been able to order pretty much everything I've wanted, and I don't have to worry about stalking retailer sites or b&m. I don't always get things right away -- I passed over a Marvel Legends figure a couple weeks ago that Pulse still hasn't shipped -- but I've basically stopped worrying about the chase entirely.

I've recently heard that anything other than 4+ is a marketing ploy and all toys are made to the 4+ specifications. This was said by the same person who also feels that MOTUO will be done in 6 months.

Got Red Alert from EB Games here in Canada. He's pretty good. I don't have any of his mold mates except for Gigawatt, who was heavily modified.

I think the Autobot logo is really washed out, though. I hope Reprelabels makes a set that fixes that and has some white bits to cover up black spots on the car. Otherwise he's pretty good. I'm not replacing Universe Sideswipe or Streaker, but Universe RA just seemed too much in the repeating mold department, so I'm glad I got one of these guys.

We have news that the exclusive Transformers Kingdom deluxe Red Alert has been found at Canadian retail. Ultra Mad found them at a EB Games in Montreal, Qc. It was priced at 32.99, same as all other kingdom deluxe figures. It comes in a solid case (meaning just that figure multiple times).

If you have found them, share your sightings with our community in the sightings section and on our boards in your region related thread.

Man, Road Rage is looking weirdly more appealing to me than Tracks? Maybe its the red body and orange hood logo that makes things pop more. Hopfully BBTS will pick this up later in the year and it'll become more widely available to other collectors !

So, in an attempt to save six freaking dollars I canceled my Amazon pre-order for the Wave 3 deluxe figures as they were cheaper at Target. Of course, Amazon shipped early and this morning Target said my order has been pushed back. Target just plain sucks when it comes to pre-orders and I will no longer waste my time with them unless it is an exclusive and even then I'll probably have better luck in store. At least today is payday and I was going to Target anyways.

Oh man, that sucks. It might suck even more if I tell you that Amazon price matched Scorponok to Target on my order. Still waiting to see if they match on Tracks.

I do still pre-order with Target, but treat them just like a Walmart pre-order, it is just a back-up plan that I likely won't need.

I tell ya...it's like whack-a-mole...so frustrating. I pre-ordered wave 1 Paleotrex from Amazon, got it early in December. all good

I ordered wave 2 Ractonite from amazon again, delayed until May, I found it in-store in April, so I cancelled my pre-order.

...because of that delay, I decided to go with Pulse for Wingfinger, I lumped it in with another order to get free shipping.... It's not supposed to ship until September... If I find it in-store first I'll be canceling again.

It's almost like Amazon gives preferential treatment if you pay full price, but if there is a price-match that causes the item price to go down, they make you wait...What is going on with all the other retailers, I have no clue. Target screwed so many people last year by canceling the BOGO free items, I don't even bother pre-ordering anything from them anymore. I've always had better experiences with Target actually in store.

The tower mode would probably be better if there was a re-issue of Metroplex on the cards, or even if Metroplex was this year's Titan as many had speculated before The Ark was revealed. But as is, it seems a bit pointless to have Slammer transform into an optional accessory for a figure that came out eight years ago and you can't really get for a reasonable price any more.

It was only rerereleased what feels like a year ago (probaly three becuase time flys) along with the amount of times it's been available, even if it was just in Japan. Though I can see some salt rubbing in the wounds going on with:

The figure can be transformed into a tower compatible with the 2013 Metroplex figure (sold separately, subject to availability)

Maybe a new version will be compatable too down the line (be it commander class or titan). I was happy enough just to have a tank that could fit in his chest/ramps with the cyberverse thing.

Still, it’s a nice bonus for all the people who bought T30 Metroplex 7 or 8 years ago that finally “completes” the citybot to G1 standards. Kingdom Slammer didn’t have to integrate with Metroplex, just like Siege Sixgun, but it does, and that’s cool with me.

On another note, I got an email from Target that the shipping date for my order of Kingdom Rodimus Prime and The Autobot Ark has been pushed back to July 15.

And judging from Tigatrons legs and the tailwhip weapon, it looks like he's unfortunately just an upscaled Cheetor

I'm happy he's voyager though, hopefully he's beefy enough. The headsculpt is gonna be my main concern

Not necessarily. Leakers have stated that A. Tigatron has his guns and B. that he was originally a Deluxe Cheetor repaint until he moved up to Voyager to replace the now-cut Polar Claw. This artwork could have been made back when he was a Cheetor repaint and they never bothered to change it.

While we got a pretty good look at upcoming Transformers Kingdom deluxe Waspinator, we had yet to see anything of voyager Tigatron, and deluxes Slammer, Pipes and Shadow Panther. Well, the official Transformers website updated their Kingdom character line ups to include every remaining toy in the line so we now have artwork for all of them. While the Tigatron does look to be based on the Cheetor toy, remember that we were informed by people in the know that he was chosen to be a voyager later in the game, so this artwork might instead be representing how he looked like before that decision.

Slammer appears to be a completely new mold, which is in line with what we had heard. He is supposed to disassemble into 8 separate weapons and also turn into a tower that is compatible with 2013 Metroplex.

Kind of fitting, as Tigatron was a replacement for Polar Claw in the original animated series as well ;). Tigatron quickly became my favorite character in S1. I never really identified with any of the Original 10, but the stoic loner, that is still loyal to, and assists his friends is a quality I relate to. The ironic part is, I really like polar bears as well, and part of me wishes there was another universe where we got the exact same show, but everything that makes up Tigatron, had just been Polar Claw instead. ;) (Polarhawk in s3 heh....)

Also, aside from box art, and a Slammer description, do we have WFC numbers yet for these wave 4 toys?

Tigatron is definitely a Voyager based upon his price. Before the last reveals none of the items had images and then once revealed the order pages were updated with content.

That does sound dumb since Hasbro is not releasing one concurrently.

Anyways, am I the only one who feels they already saw that image of shadow panther? Maybe because it's the same pose as on the original Beast Wars Tigatron box

I didn't even know they made online bios for these guys. If they write them up anyway, why not print them on the boxes? Also, I found it funny the site has a couple of errors. Wheeljack has a duplicate of Arcee's bio instead of one of his own. Pipes has Nemesis Prime as his portrait when you unfold his bio.

Very glad that Shadow Panther gets a mutant head! And Tigatron's bio says his weapon is a "Quasar cannon", so hopefully that means he'll come with his guns, although the fact that his art has him holding his tail as a whip worries me a bit.

Tigatron is a favorite of mine for more sentimental reasons; I ordered the Japanese anniversary tigatron figure on toybiz (or toywiz or something like that) when I was around 10 or 11 as a reward for getting straight As on my report cards. And I was absolutely ecstatic when he arrived. I remember because I was at HEB plus and I'd just gotten a cookies and cream flavored paleta from La Paleteria next door. And I watched the DVD with his first appearance in the cartoon, not understanding a word of what was being said. And I still have him, he's great. Tiger was my favorite animal growing up, mostly because I was born in the year of the tiger in the Chinese calendar and I was into that at the time haha
I think he was the first toy I ever ordered online, too

No it's not.

life is not all black and white bro, looks similar enough, it's not like my memory is picture perfect.

RIP to Polar Claw though I wouldve loved him

So... we could have had a transmetal Owlbear... damn... that would have been amazing.

"...updated their Kingdom character line ups to include every remaining toy in the line so we now have artwork for all of them"

Wait... so there ISN'T going to be a Terrorsaur, Tarantulas, or ant Inferno? This upcoming wave is the last one?

Well, this'll be the first wave where I actually grab everything. Tigatron is a must, Pipes, Slammer, and Shadow Panther all look great, and Waspinator's beast mode and slight Animated influenced colors have won me over.

It is hilarious that Hasbro is showing these before Wave 3 is even fully out though and probably at least a month or two before they get revealed, and yet keep complaining about stuff getting leaked.

I believe the Amazon listings updated when the Draculus and Amazon Prime ones got updated, Jtprime posted screenshots on TFW at least, so we're looking at:
K1-K30: Waves 1-3 + Commander + Titan
K31: Shadow Panther
K32: Pipes
K33: Slammer
K34: Waspinator
K35: Tigatron
K36: ???
K37: T-Wrecks
K38: Red Alert
K39: Tricranius & Blast Effects
K40: Mirage & Grimlock
K41: ???
K42: Sideswipe & Skywarp
K43-K??: ???

Figures we know are coming with no number yet: Road Rage, Blaster, ER Starscream repack, Kingdom 4-pack, Golden Disc figures (which might not be numbered, since the Galactic Odyssey sets weren't)

Hmm, interesting. Does that mean Shadow Panther is getting the Cheetor mutant head rather than regular Cheetor head?

Would that open the possibility of a Selects Cheetor with Mutant head? Or maybe 2 heads in the box?

Hasbro wouldn't give us a mutant head, and not let us use it on Cheetor right? Right!?

also, that just makes me want a Primal Mutant head for some reason.

Thank you. I'm fairly certain there will be some event in July (Transformers FFF?) where these will be revealed, possibly with more SS, and the SG Jetfire. Also I forgot about the ER Starscream repack, that will probably be 36. I was actually hoping for Inferno to get repacked with wave 4, as he is extremely hard to get. BBTS just got him in stock, so if you want Inferno, better get it now. I've seen Dinobot multiple times, but Never Inferno at retail. But with a *possible* 5th wave, maybe they can repack him in with Blaster?

I feel like the WFC Trilogy started off strong and now it's just weakly puttering out. Canceled figures, repacks, not even five waves...They really should've just finished the G1 cast this year and give the BW characters their own year. I'm not even a big Beast Wars guy but the lack of some of the best characters in the show just feels so lazy. Like, we're getting a Slammer 7 years late but no Tarantulas??

That's a good point. I mean, we're about ready for a whole new Metroplex at this point. Preferably one that has ramps that actually make sense.

Slammer doesn't look to be a completely new mold. It looks like it shares a few pieces with another figure not unlike Brunt and Airwave or some of the later TR figures. Not a retool or a reshell, just a few reused skeletal parts.

The parts that stand out so far are the thighs of Slammer. Those are from Ironworks. The angle of them coming up from the knee, the pistons molded into the top sides, the cavities on the sides of them, the notches on the knees. It's exactly like Ironworks. Maybe even the biceps are reused from the crane arm but that would require using two of them as Slammer's arms look to be symmetrical but Ironworks' arms aren't. The chest peg could be reused but you can't tell from the artwork if Slammer has one for sure.

I know people are going nuts right now trying to figure out if Autobot JP93 came from another figure instead of being a new mold. However, at least the thighs of Slammer as seen in the artwork are based on Ironworks. The wiki doesn't even mention that Brunt and Airwave/Hot House share parts so most people probably don't even realize it for them. It could be the same here. We'll just have to wait a bit longer until someone manages to obtain one somehow to be certain.

Turrets...I mean Slammer looks good though. I wonder if they tried to work in an official combined mode between him and Sixgun and maybe Cog. It's obvious they didn't think of that to begin with but they could've designed Slammer's parts to fit perfectly with the other two to make a cohesive combiner between them.

Maybe there's plans to redo Scamper as a Weaponizer. There's that leak for a Metroplex drone three pack so it is possible that Scamper might be remade. Maybe that's where the combiner will come from if they do it. Sixgun, Slammer and a new Scamper will all combine. Then they can do one for Tripticon which would be Brunt, a new Full Tilt and maybe a new Wipe-Out that is it's own design instead of being based on Windcharger.
