With certain Power Core Combiners in the collections of certain collectors in Asia, the figures were bound to get into the hand of Youtuber Peaugh. This video review focuses on Power Core Combiner Decepticon Smolder with Chopster, a 2-pack set for release in the summer of this year. Peaugh goes over just about everything in this review, which you can check out embed below, or on Youtube.
Peaugh's also cooking up reviews of Power Core Combiners Skyburst and Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe Ironhide, so keep yourself tuned to his Youtube page.

Very nice figure. His bot mode looks nice and his Mini-Con becomes a fairly nice weapon for him. His combined mode is, to say the least, unique. It looks a little weird, but it does have a different feel than the simple 'standing up straight with regular limbs' look that the others seem to have. Definitely going to get him. Meh, I'll probably just get all the PCC figures if I can.

I dunno... IMHO he's better than Bombshock in robot mode but not as good in combined mode. And neither mode is as good as Searchlight IMHO.
Still... probably gonna get him.

I like Chopster, but he`s very small. Hope he doesn`t wind up costing too much.
As for the combiner gimmick, I`m not feelin`it.

I am digging Smolder and Chopster. Smolder's bot mode looks nice and Chopster's Hose/Gatling gun mode, and even his axe mode, look cool. I am wondering if they are going to release a Fire/Rescue themed set of limbs because that would look good with Smolder I think. Or at least a set of limbs that are predominately red in color. Can't have all these wild and clashing colors!

Well, I think at this point I can stop trying to fit these guys into my classics and just collect them for what they are. I think I want them all!
Anyway, this guy looks pretty cool, though he's got the weakest torso mode of the 3. It still boggles my mind why they made him a decepticon, but I may just slap some Autobot stickers on him and call him Inferno.
Damn, I need more shelf space...

As posted earlier, I believe the 2-packs are 10 bucks and the 5-packs 20.
