to me it still looks like a civilian rescue chopper, but still a nice representation of Vortex

still, they may paint the missles one color, and the in-between space a different color, on the other hand, they didn't do that to blades did they?

Maybe TT will, since they really are just ball-jointed shell parts that are neither complex to mold, or integral to the transformation or anything

One thing I am sure of about the TT release, not that much yellow.

Well, if they did that, a new blast-off, and fix brawl, I would immediately pre-order it the minute it drops on bbts. Would still buy hasbro blast-off and maybe a second swindle, because, epic

In all honesty, I do find the missiles very distracting. Might do something about them myself when I get him. Still, It's nice to see a return to Vortex's oft-forgotten bizarre paint scheme. Flat grey, dull blue, purple and yellow; only in the 80s.

Indeed. Of all things, a Bruticus Maximus homage?
Funny how here we are three years later with a muted, faithfully-colored Combaticon team.

Who looks better then who? I refuse to believe any existing Hound is better then Universe Hound. Let's all bow down to the amazing Universe Hound.

Um, no. Universe may have been the bomb, but CW Hound is THE Hound, the definition of what Hound should and always be. He is outlandish, offroadish, beefy, dark awesome green and has a badass head, not to mention his weapon and the fact he makes a frikkin Beefy-bulk arm of murder-death-justice-awesomeness

Blows him away.... Just like Rhinox did the preds in that one Beast Wars episode
Too much green in CW Hound. Also, that entire wave was designed by either: a lobotomized Waspinator, people on meth or monkeys. And that is a sorry excuse for a Wheeljack. Where is his paint? They left the chest untouched. Untouched! UN-FREAKING-TOUCHED! Sorry, sometimes I get angry when toys are stupid. The only thing that might come close to the OG Generations version is the head.

Hound is still awesome and still the best looking Hound around. He will be bought, and he will be displayed on the bridge of the Lost Light WITH HONOR!!!
...oh wait wrong script....
...also, when did we get a limit on quotes here? It just told me I can only do 10 at a time. damn

Yeah the rest of the limbs suck, but we weren't talking about them were we? And I will never take classics hound over cw hound

It just told me I can only do 10 at a time. damn
Yeah I just got it too. Wonder if it's new or if I just never noticed.

Quotequotequotequotequote. I'm not mocking you, Will. It's a joke from TFWiki.

Yeah, him and hound were bought on site, the minute I saw them at botcon, there's just something about them
He may not be a faithful Hound toy wise, but he is the best looking Hound toy I have ever seen. HIE IS SO MINE
Better than.....Universe Hound?
Yeah, he looks much cooler
Blows him away.... Just like Rhinox did the preds in that one Beast Wars episode

Yeah the rest of the limbs suck, but we weren't talking about them were we? And I will never take classics hound over cw hound
Might have to go with Screamer on this. I don't have him myself, but Universe does seem to capture the youthful naievete that I always thought was good about Hound.

I really feel the CW Hound look fits his current IDW incarnation as well since in the comics he is a field commander and not naive at all. He really does look good too. There is point in the look, its just dark green and black mostly, so it is harder to notice and different from what we are used to. But I still love him. We'll have to see what optibotimus says about the mold when he gets Swindle's review up Friday. then we can appreciate actual mold

Mostly just depends on what Hound you like or what one you're going for.
"nature is awesome" pseudo-kid appeal character Hound, or boots on the ground "you wanna live forever?" Hound

Or "Fat Ballerina Hound"
I like the boots to the ground Hound a little better, mainly because of the Hound I have grown accustomed to in IDW. but the kid appeal Hound is still nice nonetheless

Maximus, you got it wrong. It's "Fat Ballerina Who Takes Scalps" Hound.

It's funny, going back and watching the first 3 episodes of G1 (collectively titled "More Than Meets The Eye"), Hound has an oddly large role and interacts with humans a lot more. Makes me wonder what would have happened if he stayed the kid appeal character?
Then again, it'd probably just mean we'd be complaining about green clogged shelves and waxing nostalgic about the wasted potential of that one yellow Volkswagen bot.

Apologies: "Fat Ballerina who takes scalps!" That was an awesome Hound. They are probably riding that name now for this character, since Drift is in RiD and Crosshairs may show up in Titans returns or something

I just hope it's G1 Crosshairs. If it's not, I'll get Cloud Roadbuster.

Onslaught looks like quite a bit of love went into making him. It's cool to see the added heel's (especially since he longer has hotspot's third-leg-backpack) and it's really cool that you don't even need to partsform the weapons if you want
Oh, and scattershot looks really, really dumb; I'm not sure how I would feel if hasbro never made a proper scattershot if they do indeed make limbs for him. That might be doubly insulting

Yeah, well there's still hope that hasbro will release a proper one in a possible boxset

D-Max I agree this onslaught remold is impressive in every way, it works better than I thought it would. I might have to get this set, well done. I also like this reviewers, everything is simple but well done.
