This going on my list of things I will buy if I become rich. Sqweeks easily become my fave cute robot in anything ...pretty much ever come to think of it. I'm not usually into the cutesy things.

Such a pointless character. He never even transforms. How could you not have a moment where the girl is running from Decepticons along with this robot and then have him transform into a scooter as she jumps on him and the get away?

Well, this will be the first time ever that one of these overpriced, non-transforming statues is actually FILM ACCURATE.

Even as Transformers movie season winds down following the release of The Last Knight a few months ago, people are still finding new tie-in merchandise! In this instance, yours truly, Bronzewolf, has found a new set of children's pajamas! It features artwork of Optimus and Bumblebee on the front of the shirt, and Megatron on the back. It also comes with a pair of Autobot and Decepticon symbol-print pants! These were spotted at the Wal-Mart in Timnath, Colorado for $9.87! Here's the photographic proof!

Ok nothing wrong with buying these for your kids, but adults posting pajama sightings on a fan site is just plain creepy.

These have actually been at my local Target and Walmart here in NW Arkansas for quite some time now. I haven't bought any yet because I'm a bit underwhelmed by these figures. I always pick them up and ponder over them when I see them (Prime, Hound, Barricade are the ones I have seen so far), often times in my search for new waves of Titan Returns or the elusive Walmart exclusive Hot Rod, and always end up putting them back down because they don't do anything for me. I'm sure someone can enjoy these but seeing how the same ones are always there, doesn't look like anyone in my area wants them.

I see these at every walmart I go to, I've seen them both in Texas and Illinois. Btw I'm not really interested in these alspark tech transformers either, but makes sense for a younger audience.

Some chains are able to obtain exclusive rights to merchandise of a certain character, and it's happened before:

DotM: Leadfoot was exclusive to Target, given that his real life vehicle mode has Target sponsoring marks. Well, supposedly exclusive, his first Legion toy was general retail, and his Japanese toys had the bulls-eye logo removed.

AoE: Stinger was exclusive to Walmart, though his One-Step toy (the only original mold if I may add) was accidentally shipped to other stores at first. Target had Silver Knight Optimus Prime.

Via our regular news finder Scottimus Prime, we have a sighting of an item from the non-toy portion of the Transformers: The Last Knight franchise just in time for the various holidays lining up in the next couple of months the official calendar for the Paramount live-action movie!

Available as both 18-month and 16-month lengths, the calendar has also been priced down from its retail price to 9.99 USD, and features artwork including Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, newcomer Sqweeks, Hot Rod, and token Decepticon Megatron, with a variety of 'catchy' lines (clearly chosen by marketing, and aimed at a younger audience). Check out the images from the Toys'R'Us store they were found at, and let us know if this is something you might be interested in by joining the Energon Pub discussion boards!

Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian news supplier Scottimus Prime, we have word that the Jada Diecast cars from Transformers: the Last Knight have gone on sale at Target! The particular figure shown here is the 1:32 scale Barricade figure, based on the characters new alt mode see in The Last Knight, and features the 8 barreled cannon that is toy features on the roof. The die cast also includes opening doors and the robot mode design etched into the bottom. The die cast would normally cost $6.99, has been knocked down to $4.88. The figure was found at the Target in Long island, New York.

Is this price drop enough for you to hunt him down? Let us know in the comments section below!

We have news of some fairly late newcomers to the Transformers: The Last Knight collectibles game, in the shape of diecast metal minifigures of the two main Autobots from the movie - Optimus Prime and Bumblebee - courtesy of Metals Diecast and their official Facebook page.

According to the company, these two slightly super deformed, 4 inch figures will be hitting retail at some point in April 2018, though we have no pricing at the time of writing. Check out brief descriptions and official shots below!

Stores have been getting ready for the big chocolate buying rush of Easter season and you can find almost any franchise made into chocolate right now in stores. Transformers in no excpetion. Right now, at Walmart Canada, you can find a 275 gram chocolate of The Last Knight Optimus Prime from Freddo. Check out the molding details of this very hollow product. It is also nut free. There were no other characters present. Let us know if you find other Easter themed Transformers merchandise when you do your holiday shopping this season.

At first, I thought it was Grimlock.

Then, I realised that perhaps, a company had released a product that truly encapsulated the spirit of the Michael Bay Transformers films.

Optimus Prime: strong, wise ... delicious? We will find that out today. A recent news post regarding an Optimus Prime Easter Chocolate had quite the following on social media. This being a regional yet fully licensed and rather peculiar product, I chose to buy one for myself to get a better taste. Below is a quick pictorial review, showing you what this product is all about, how big it is as well as a taste test.

What I find most intriguing about this product is how the box art and style is identical to the Premier Edition toys. With the same trio at the top.

Image

Image

There was also an image of Optimus Prime which you could colour on the back.

Image

Here is how big the chocolate is.

Image

And here it is next to toys more people have seen live.

Image

The chocolate mold's sculpt is very intricate. It is extremely busy but there is a nice head sculpt. The sword has the detailed marking as well. There are stars at the top. I was wondering if the back had any sculpting but no. It does remind me of the state of Texas though when turned upside down, filled with stars (but no stripes).

Image

Image

Image

As for how it tasted, well, this might be a Canadian exclusive product but I guarantee many of you have all tasted something very similar to it. It is simply your standard Easter chocolate taste. There are no nuts so it has none of the nutty flavour and it doesn't have that sweeter taste you would find in either Lindt or Kinder chocolates. It is simply standard milk chocolate, like any chocolate egg that hides Smarties or cooler chocolates inside, or any molded chocolate featuring your favourite characters. And unlike the standard ducks or dogs, you don<t have those ultra sweet candy eyes to mix things up. Still, it hits the spot if you want a chocolate fix.
