How many of you are still enjoying the ConstructBots line? Fellow Seibertronian chuckdawg1999 has another review to keep you going, looking at Hound with his dino partner/armour Wideload - though he doesn't seem as positive this time round. Check it out below!

Sharing the same basic build as Lockdown, Hound in vehicle mode has more of a car look than I like and feel a military vehicle should have. I do like the build although I think younger hands will have a hard time snapping the pieces on and off the frame without stressing the plastic or pinching their fingers. Wide Load is missing something from making it an interesting partner and the armor mode is rather uninspired. I can recommend the kit only for a Constructbot die hard.

100$ for the pair? That's really reasonable for a premium set. Considering that each of the normal ones go for 55-60$ + taxes.

Yeah, but with the current exchange rate and shipping, it is still mega expensive for us Canadians, eh?

I went by a couple of Targets in my area and I saw that exclusive Leader class Silver Knight OP was reduced to $50. Not bad but I hope it drops a bit more. It seems to be the only OP from this latest movie line that has me interested.

I think everything else AOE was also marked down too. So if your still missing something have a look...'nuff said! :VEHI:

Not really. At worst, it will be roughly the same price as if you had bought the two at TrU with full taxes. Instead of the normal releases, you get the platinum versions. Not a bad deal, if you are willing to pay full regular price.

Oh man, this is what I was hoping would not happen. I went to Walmart today looking for any of the AOE deluxe figures. But there werent any. There werent any voyagers or leaders either.
Instead they were flooded with EVERYTHING ELSE FROM AOE EXCEPT THE ACTUAL TRANSFORMER FIGURES

Earlier this week, we reported that the Platinum Edition 2-Pack of Leader Class Grimlock and Optimus Prime were available from TRU.com, which you can read all about here, and order here.

You can see the galleries of the original figures here and here.

Our own Seibertron.com staffer, mooncake623, found them at retail in Times Square, right in the heart of New York City at the Toys R Us store. (This is one of the largest TRU stores in the world, with a ferris wheel inside!)

He provided image proof below:

As we are eventually nearing the tail end of Transformers: Age of Extinction merchandise, now that the movie has been released for home viewing, some licensed products seen very early on are still dotting various retailers. Point in case, the Carrera Transformers Go!!! Slot Car Race Track Set spotted on Target.com, featuring car modes of Bumblebee and Lockdown, racing track and a big big box, all for the price of $109.99. Check out some mirrored images below!

So I just noticed TFsource mis-priced Takara's AD30 "Sky Drift" (the Voyager Skyhammer redeco) as if it were a deluxe. Just 29.99:

http://tfsource.com/TF4-Japan/AD30-autobot-b/?pvar=2&utm_expid=10755138-1.B2ZxbBOZRvm2BVhYCLWjsA.1&utm_referrer=http%3A%2F%2Ftfsource.com%2Fjapanese-age-of-extinction%2F

That's pretty darned good for an imported voyager that probably features better paint apps.

Something tells me that we're not getting anything new in AOE Deluxe beyond the first initial waves. No original design "expanded universe" figures so to speak. Those were some of my favorites from the previous movie lines. Exclusive repaints of already released AOE figures seems to be the call of the day now.

EDIT: Ok, yeah, we did get some Dinos that were'nt in the movie, but that's about it.

Yeah, we've seen everything that we will be getting for the AoE line in all Classes. Nothing beyond the end of 2014. Possibly the shortest-lived line ever at 6 months or so.

Fellow Transformers fan RJ Escobedo, has found the newest wave of One-Step figures at his local Wal*Mart Supercenter in San Antonio Texas, today. This wave's new bots consist of Galvatron (first time in the simplified line), Steeljaw (probably his only toy appearance) and helicopter mode Drift.

Meh, I'll stick with the Life Savers Dinobots. Because those are rather dull looking.
...
To be honest, they are wicked cool looking. However, my TF money is rather limited at the moment. Choices must be made. And a DOTM Takara Jetwing Optimus Prime for 95$ loosse and shipped is my top priority.

I got those one step figures today and opened Drift, Galvatron, and HO Bumblebee. I gotta say, they're fantastic. Each one has a really unique transformation, Galvatron's in particular is really cool.

Why did they have to put translucent plastic on these?? I would have MUCH preferred the more tarnished metallic look for the entirety of each of the figures. Translucent plastic kills the itch I had for this set. Though, on the bright side, more money for Generations and MPs. So there's that. >:oP

This Dinobot set, to me, is a perfect example of figures I'd love for good photographers to have - so I can admire them from afar. :D

They look nice, but more as a display piece than a toy, really. And I have my Power Rangers Dinoforce already, anyway. But dang does that first shot look good.

y'know, id actually bet money that theyre translucent to specifically offset them from the takara "black knight" versions, as they were pretty similar.
