We
reported earlier this month that an exclusive Bumblebee figure would be offered with
Transformers Movie tickets sold in Japan. At that time the only thing we knew was the Deluxe '74 Camaro Bumblebee mold would be used. Now
Lawson.jp is reporting that the exclusive Bumblebee figure is going to be a Metallic color.

Sounds spiffy! I wonder if the metallic paint will be more like the G2 metallic colors, or like the robovision Target Prime.

Movie Bumblebee isn't a 1974 Camaro. Movie Bumblebee has a wrap around rear window, which didn't appear on Camaros until 1975. Camaro body styles are so identical from '75-'77 that you could pick any of those years and it would be hard to argue against. 1974 models were pretty significantly different from what movie Bumblebee is.

Is that just for the first so many people or is it until it leaves theatres?

I don't live in Japan, so I guess I miss out, unless of course this becomes like Flash LioConvoy.
If that be the case, then I'm sure Ebay will offer an endless supply that I'll wanna get, but wont.

Because Japan is the best freakin place to live if you love TransFormers, Video Games and anime. I wish the US was like them, with all their cool stuff and exclusives.

You guys do remember that the TF line is practically dead in Japan right now, right? It's far from a transforming robot utopia at the moment, although they have had some pretty awesome periods in the past. Thankfully many of these blasts from the past are available on Yahoo Japan auctions- I use a proxy service to bid on stuff on there. It's kinda expensive, but the exchange rate is great right now.
http://www.shoppingmalljapan.com if you're wondering. Expect about 9,000,000 movie-exclusive Bumblebees to be on there in about two months time.
