Walmart- A poster at TFW2005 has found both Universe Dinobot and Universe Smokescreen at retail in a Walmart in North Carolina.
The poster, raltherr, states that he was able to purchase both toys although there was difficulty with Smokescreen. Apparently, he was not in the computer yet.
"I found Universe Smokescreen and Dinobot in a local Wal-mart today. I didn't think they were due until March. When I brought them to the register Dinobot rang up fine. Smokescreen was not in their system. After about 45 minutes the manager rang up the Smokescreens as TFA Bumblebees. Then they pulled the remaining stock off the pegs. I'm not sure if this was a mistake with Hasbro sipping early or Wal-marts distribution. But they have been purchased by me in North Carolina. I have attached a few pics. One is in Wal-mart, the other is in my house. I didn't scan the receipt because Smokescreen wouldn't ring up anyway. And I don't want to get anybody at Wal-mart in trouble if they weren't supposed to sell them."
Smokescreen UPC: 653569376057
Dinobot UPC: 563569371007

I seriously doubt anyone at the door would look past the fact that the type of item, price, and item count on your receipt matched what was in the bag.

I kinda feel like it's a fluke, too. Last time I was in wal-mart, not much was where they'd normally be on the isle, but there was an end-cap at the end of that isle was pretty full. Silverstreak, Galvatron, and Ironhide were the most memorable of those, but I didn't have enough money at the time to be bothered. (Already have Galvatron, anyway.)
Still going to keep my eyes open for Dinobot, though, just in case. That and the rest of deluxe wave 4 are the figures I'm really after right now...

I had this happen all the time at walmart the sticker on the peg is different than the scan price, when the price droped to 7.77 for TF deluxe figs and when someone put the price of 25th gi joe fig as 5.55. Does anyone know when the price will go up again?
