Theme park enthusiast website Screamscape is reporting that a 30 second commercial for Universal Studios Hollywood's Transformers: The Ride will airing during this year's Super Bowl Pre-Game Coverage on February 5th on NBC. TFW2005 member firehawc_69 has also received an Annual Pass Member Newletter that promotes the commercial as well as Transformers merchandise that is currently available at the park. The ride's grand opening at Universal Studios Hollywood is scheduled for May 2012.

Finally a reason to watch the Super Bowl. Football bores me to sleep. If not for this commercial, I would have spent my entire day Sunday, planning how to surprise my wife for valentines day.

The date has been changed to May 2012. The exact date has not been specified yet, according to Universal who just contacted our news staff about this correction.
