Episode #150 "Wreck. Rule." is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on iTunes and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
If you're looking for non-comics talk about the latest Transformers toys, check out Episode 149 with our lengthy, in depth coverage of Titans Return toys.
We take our time and look all the way back to the start, remembering those first pages initially seen last October. This also quickly gets in to analysis of the books tone, color palette, and layouts, all of which are a style very prevalent through each issue of the book.
That Ashcan issue was a long time ago now.
The return of Springer is an unavoidable topic, with the character being extremely pivotal to the story told in the series. We discuss the timing of his return, and the potential repercussions of it that may lie beyond. It starts out just fine, but beware, part of this absolutely calls for your tin foil hat!
A hardcover collection's prose story pays off all over again.
Of course, this story also wouldn't be the same without Prowl. Just how did he get here, and what did Rattrap have to do with it or not? Plus - pulling the trigger and the difficulty thereof.
Reasonably placed blame
Dr. Va'al drops a bomb on the speculation front as we look back at Roadbuster's flashback. Pharma, Tarantulas, Hubcap, Mortilus, and Luna 1 come together in a way that catches the other cast members off guard. What do you think of this theory and what it could mean to the IDW-verse moving forward?
Maybe he'll pull out the RKO next time?
The main villain of Sins, Tarantulas, also comes front and center. Is this spider really big and bad, or just one of those two? Also, tiny. Internal. Robot. Heads.
Not the only grey one in the room?
The book's humor comes up as we work towards wrapping up any plot synopsis, and if you haven't been able to tell already, this show will completely spoil the book all the way to the end.
What those that get spoiled will do to their Twincast subscription.
A short timeout follows to reflect on the humor ever present just beyond the surface. From Verity's violent science, to Impactor's quips, to a beached whale, find out the moments that we chuckled at (whether we should have or not) and share your favorites with us!
Free Willzyx
We also take up some of your questions from the Energon Pub Forums, including one that many fans want to know about when the book occurs. You can get the answer to that one without listening as it's just below, but tune in to see if your question got answered as well!
From page 1 of Transformers #45
To close things up, we take one last look at speculation surrounding the events of the last few pages. What awaits Impactor, Springer, Verity, and the others, and did Tarantulas survive? What might Revolution have to do with it all? While many plot lines were closed up nicely, yet more questions await answers in the coming months.
I thought it was!
We hope you enjoyed this latest episode of Twincast / Podcast spin-off Mainframes, and stay tuned after More Than Meets The Eye wraps up its current arc for more analysis, speculation, and just maybe even some special guests! We'll see you in the discussion thread which you can join in on by replying to this very news post.

I had been considering that Ostaros might have been Prowl's planned replacement of Prime just as you all were coming to that point.
Springer has always been second in line in my opinion to be the next Prime and that was an interesting way of bringing it about.
To follow that...
If Impactor DOES become the new big bad, Springer as a "Prime" would be a fascinating deviation from the perpetual Prime/Megatron contests we have had since 84'. Seeing friends with a grudge initiate a new kind of conflict would be just ground breaking.
It might be even more interesting if it happened under the noses of Optimus and Starscream as a new ruling elite who have armed insurrections and factions that are disrupting the peace they've fought so hard for.

I like you.
I will now not sleep from speculation.
This is particular is very juicy:

Also a nice way to hit on the beats of war, peace and revolution repeating over and over given the relationship between Optimus and Megatron that's been established.Counterpunch wrote:Seeing friends with a grudge initiate a new kind of conflict would be just ground breaking.
