The four figures shown in the image below are split into two two-pack VS sets: the first, with Deluxes, features Generation Arcee as Chun-Li (春麗 Chun-Ri) and Titan Returns Hot Rod as Ken Masters (ケン Ken, though the Titan Master is obscured by the watermark); the second has two triple-changers as Ryu (リュウ), using the Octane / Optimus Prime mold, and M. Bison (Vega in Japan, and in the writing on the image, ベガ Bega), which repurposes the Blitzwing mold for the main villain of the game and series. Check it out below, and let us know what you think of this bizarre combination, which may be a TakaraTomyMall from the looks of the blurb on the photo - but we'll keep you updated on that front!

And wow, never would have seen that coming. This may be the first time Transformers was crossed with a video game franchise.

These are really cool though and I could use Ken's headmaster as pretender Bumblebee from that bot con idea.
Any transformers we can repurpose them As? If not I'll just make them original characters with similar personalities and names to the Street fighter characters.

Almost makes me like the GI Joe SF figures that came out when the cruddy live action Street Fighter film did.
Also Ken being much smaller than Ryu makes no sense since they're almost always the same size usually being palette swaps and such. Bison fine as that voyager but Ryu should be a deluxe with Ken as they would team up to take down Bison. Ryu could be white Hot Rod so he and Ken are...the sHOTo-Rods... yes i'm lame.

Hey, guess what? It's ok. Relax. Take some deep breaths or something.Carnivius_Prime wrote:Rarely have I ever been so eager to click a link and then be disappointed with what I saw. I love Transformers. I love Street Fighter. I don't love crummy repaints of toys I already sold or didn't want certainly not at all in a badly thought out paint gimmick.

These look like pointless, amazing fun. Here's hoping they don't involve insane campaign trickery to buy!

Not gonna make it a big thing but that's not cool.

But seriously, these do look good.

Ryu's headmaster and color pallet looks like a close approximation to unicorn trilogy Jetfire (a split between Energon and Cybertron). Ken's color scheme is reminiscent of Armada Hot Shot's powered up mode. Bison is too obscured by the watermark for me to guess at. No clue on the Arcee repaint either.
Of course I need these just because it's such a screwball mashup!

Now who else should them make? Some ideas:
Sagat - TR Astrotrain
Camy - TR Windblade
Sheng Long - TR Alpha Trion
Akuma - TR Tidal Wave
Vega (JP Balrog) - TR Wimdwipe (really just because of his sheild)
Balrog (JP M. Bison) - UW Nosecone (for HFG and drill fists)
Blanka - TR Wolfwire
Guile - TR Hardhead

He’s an ok looking figure bad look for repaint

Chun-Li should have been TR Windblade instead of T30 Arcee.

I think they went with Arcee because her Leia buns look similar to Chun Li's buns, plus Generations Arcee has the best gams.
and now I need one.

I'd say Ryu could easily be a Titans return version of Beast wars Polar Claw.

Ryu and Ken might need more photos to judge.

Oooooookay.... I mean. Why Street Fighter? Mega Man is also Capcom and would make just as much sense. More even. Considering he is already a robot. AND he turns 30 in a couple weeks.
OR with a very slight remold of Hardhead (or no remold-it could pass without) they could have done a video game character that actually makes sense:

Using a headmaster would work perfect so Jason could pilot Sophia. Good call on Hardhead.DecepticonFinishline wrote:OR with a very slight remold of Hardhead (or no remold-it could pass without) they could have done a video game character that actually makes sense:
I'd sell someone's first born for a Sophia Transformer - official or not

You could probably do a Necro repaint for the Titan Master. That would probably be the closest existing match for Jason's suit. Expensive repaint, though.

Microraptor wrote:Seems they're using Lione for Bison's headmaster. Neat!
Dosent look like it; as far as i can tell it is the megatron/Doomshot head with very specific paint aplications to be evocative of M bisons cap. Looking at the others, with the exception of ken because we cant see the face, none of the heads are remolded, theyre just using very specific paint applications.

Guile's gonna be the Hardhead Repaint, i'm sure of it (and SONIC BOOM)
Balrog..... think of a redecoed Alpha Trion?
Blanka.... my guess would be Skullsmasher repaint
I'm not sure what will Zangief and Sagat be.... i'm just hoping they'll come next year
That Vega/M.Bison though :

With the figures not having to be purely Titan master figures (tho it's probably just from takara legends figure sculpts) or repaints of the same mold (eg Ken, Ryu, Akuma being the same figure) it could make for some interesting choices if there is more of these down the line....Fattimus Prime = E.Honda

As you can see in the image below, we finally get a clearer look at Ken's Takara Tomy Legends Hot Rod reuse (plus the Hasbro Titans Return guns), and the Titan Master does indeed remain the same just with a new paint job, highlighting those trademark luscious eyebrows and golden locks, and how the set including him and Arcee as Chun-Li will see a May 2018 release for a current price of 8640 Yen (76 USD at the time of writing). As for the M.Bison vs Ryu set, on the other hand, the price is 12960 Yen, or approximately 115 USD. We should be finding out more about pre-orders and details for the four figures in December, so stay tuned!

Covered in the original post, dear
And those sets will indeed be TakaraTomy Mall exclusives, according to the very end of the page.

Speaking of Chun-Li, that is the only toy I would have deduced was street fighter themed if these pics were presented to me without context. I would not have thought of that for the rest.

Va'al wrote:Via a notification from fellow Seibertronian Albatross250, we found the original source of a batch of original images for the recently revealed Transformers X Street Fighter II figures - and we didn't have to go far, as it's indeed via TakaraTomyMall! The listings show both sets as originally reported on our previous newspost here, including the same price of around 115 USD for the Bison (Vega in Japan, as we first pointed out) and Ryu set, and 76 USD for the Chun Li vs Ken set, but also include a whole lot more images, from the Titan Masters in both head and tiny robot mode, the various alt modes for all four figures, and some new added fight positions, including the Hadouken, Shoryuken, and Chun-Li's Hyakuretsu Kyaku and Spinning Bird Kick, and if you squint with your imagination, Bison's Psycho Crusher, too.

I will say, though, that Arcee as Chun-Li works AMAZINGLY well.
