Thanks to Twitter user vicegripx, we're happy to confirm that the first wave of Earthrise deluxe figures are out at U.S. retail! He spotted them at a Target in Tacoma, Washington, as evidenced by the photo below.

Via reddit, we also have a sighting for the first wave of leaders, Astrotrain and Optimus Prime, which were said to be found at a Target in Idaho.

We reported last week that the Micromasters from this highly anticipated line had shown up in Portland, Oregon, and with these sightings, the rest can't be far behind. Originally due to hit in March (as many preorders have that date, Earthrise seems to be following the pattern of seeing figures hit retail earlier than expected, as was the case with Power of the Primes and Siege.

Are you excited to see these figures start showing up in the next little while? Let us know what you think below!

It's the last that may prove the hardest to do, look at how Legends Godbomber and God Ginrai turned out. Not impossible, but may be too big for his own good.

I think that's something Earthrise could handle very well actually. We've almost seen proof of concept with the Weaponizer gimmick. Only thing is, that if they do go for all three gimmicks, I'd actually say it should be a Commander class two pack of leaders like CW Devastator. That way the joints can be beefed up to hold the weight, while not being too tight on a hollower limb. The Commander price point might have enough of a budget that would allow for three solid figures that combine together

Wouldn't commander class equal to a voyager and a leader? That's how I always envisioned them doing Victory Saber (using the logic that Victory Leo was a weaponizer in Voyager Class)

Apeface having that didn't ruin the figure for me in anyway
After fiddling with my figure for a couple of months I don't think they could have made Apeface without that material considering how some of the tabs work. I'm just really, really, really glad none of the Siege figures, and hopefully none of the Earthrise figures, have had any of that rubbery stuff like Titans Return Mindwipe and Krok has, the tip of one of Mindwipe's wings broke removing him from a storage container while in bat mode :-(

Speaking of which, I took my TR Wolfwire out of storage the other day and sure enough, that back panel was broken at the hinges.

Gets paranoid and checks my wolf wire, everything is fine. Haven't checked mind wipe though I didn't have any problems with the classics/rts junkticons so I don't think I'm as heavy handed/unlucky as some. I did just risk breaking a ss vw bee folding windows away that the instructions avoid folding despite the bits having a hinge.

Be careful with that SS Bee, I do the same and I think I spotted some stress marks in that clear plastic.

Mine will most likely not transform again, at least not for a while.

On the Earthrise topic, I am surprised the voyagers seem to be the figures that we have been slowest to get news on: last for reviews, no sighting so far, etc.

I do plan to buy more smashdowns though

Nice to see that Sky Lynx is the Commander for the year. I might actually grab this one because I missed the CW one, and that's gotten too expensive for what it was and what problems it had. And Scorponok definitely looks great. Only issue I have is the ramp looks a tad too wide in base mode, but that's fine. Definitely excited for the upcoming conventions so HasTak can show these guys off

I am not to sure that these are the real earthrise figures, they look more like concept arts. I am also pretty sure that the micromasters are there G1 figures and Wheeljack is just pulled from some other media (card game maybe?)

I am also disappointed that we are getting another large autobot in the form of skylinx, give us more decepticons! I need a commander class armada style Tidal Wave!

Thanks to heads up from several Seibertronians, we have news that the Planet Iacon Facebook Page has posted a screenshot of some new potential Earthrise figures, potentially confirming some rumors.

The image bears some resemblance to images we had gotten around Titans Return, which showed some not yet announced figures in rough concept color form, although these images don't have any color location indicators. The image shows us the Titan Class Scorponok, whom we did know was coming based on his gray prototype head we saw back last year at New York Comic Con.

Up next on the list is Sky Lynx, who looks to be our Commander class figure for the year, pushing back a large Armada Tidal Wave figure yet another year for us. This Sky Lynx appears to have 3 modes: robot mode, shuttle mode, and a rocket base mode, which looks pretty nice in this image. We also have what appears to be 2 new battlemasters, who transform into different styled shields/ramps. Up next are some Micromasters, which includes Tune-up and Big Daddy, who have been found at retail, and a new pair that appears to be a pair of combining Micromasters similar to the Battle Patrol from last year, only now they combine to form a space shuttle, continuing the space theme set by Omega Supreme and set to continue.

At the bottom are a pair of deluxes that are also showing up at retail, Wheeljack and Ironworks. Wheeljack looks to be a model sheet based on his Earth Wars mobile game design, so whether this sheet will be accurate to how the toys actually come out is anyone's guess.

Check it out below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

The 4th row are just Trip Up, Big Daddy, Phaser, and Blast Master's G1 toy pics from TFWiki.

I liked the Astro Squad enough back in the day that this gets my hopes up for Earthrise, but so far none of the Siege Micromasters I've handled really outdo the originals, even with the combining weapon gimmick.

Nice to see some news bits about Scorponok trickling out. I’m sure it won’t be long until we start seeing some more detailed images. And then of course there’s the inevitable Black Zarak, that I’m sure we’ll be getting eventually.

The news about Sky Lynx was unexpected, and very welcomed. Super excited for new, non-combiner torso Sky Lynx. Like most of us, I’m also curious about the fate of his cat mode. Here’s hoping,

Well, if this is true it confirm quite a bit of things that have been hinted at, which is good. Scorponok is the only Titan I've ever wanted from 'day one' (the others are still in the maybe-ill-pick-them-up-someday, maybe category) due to him further completing a roster that was reintroduced during Titans Return, which was when I got back into collecting. Once Snapdragon is made that team will be fully complete.

However am I a weirdo for being most interested in the new, potentially Decepticon Battlemasters? Battlemasters are a great fun, accessory and figure all in one and they've been a good place for HasTak to add whole new characters, like Smashdown.

Is Black Zarak inevitable? I mean Takara had to crowd fund Grand Maximus (and didn't even get enough interest for the pretender shell) so far hasbro have given us zero repaints when it comes to the Titans, not counting SDCC exclusives, unless you'd be happy for BZ to be an SDCC exclusive?

We also never got Gigastorm from Trypticon, in addition to the aforementioned Grand Max. And we never got Metrotitan.

Black Zarak is definitely one of those "could go either way" cases

Sky Lynx, yes please! I have been waiting for this since the Commander class was revealed last year.

Seeing how his base mode has the shuttle detach from the carrier, I would imagine each component has their respective animals modes included.

I want more Mocromasters and I love that we are seeing another alr combiner, but I always seem more excited by getting them than having them... And the Ramp Bots, those are cool designs but... Eh? Not sure I will do a lot of City Building.

Fort Max was a Retool of Metroplex though, back to front like the Universe Lambo Twins were. The more likely argument, which the Grand PreSales seem to back up, is that HasTak does not think that there is enough of a market to justify the expense of another Titan figure. Remember that Grand got made, but he didnt hit his minimum to come with the Pretender Armor figure. Maybe they don't think there are enough collectors who know or care about Metrotitan etc

For all intents and purposes, despite using Metroplex as a starting point, Fortress Maximus should be counted as a new separate release. Reusing Titan Class molds apparently requires special circumstances, or have very minor changes. How many re-releases did we get after Metroplex and Devastator setting the standard?

And don't forget, Universe Sunstreaker and Sideswipe were "pretooled" or "built in", the first second confirmed in fact after Cybertron Scrapmetal. That's effectively building two toys into one if one goes beyond alternate heads like with Combiner Wars and Titans Return. For smaller Size Class with a lot of figures that can be a cost saver, but with only one figure a year for Titan (and Commander) with low production numbers, it's not worth it.

If you look at the sides of the base, there are red extensions that look useless for support, but appear to fold toward the back, which would put them in place to serve as the Lynx mode's double tail.
Image

I take this and the fact that the carrier detaches with all four legs to be a pretty solid indication that there is a lynx mode whose head is just hidden.

Sky Lynx looks pretty cool, not gonna lie, but I don't think I necessarily need him. The base mode is cool, it looks like his color scheme is more unique now, and given the presence of his two tails in the base mode and that suspect white panel on the front of what would be the lynx body, I don't think anyone has to worry about him not having all his original modes.

Still don't collect Micromasters or Titans, but I'm happy for those who are happy for Scorpy.

When Jtprime posted the link to the TFW boards for the pictures, did anyone else see that rumor list they were talking about beforehand over there? That seemed a bit suspect and yet also too specific to be false, and some of what it mentioned was terribly mysterious.
