Actually there's a bunch of options out there. These sets come out next year and are very affordable (especially compared to the expensive iGear set that a lot of people didn't like).
Extreme Sets Pop-up Diorama Headquarters (purple)
Extreme-Sets Pop-up Diorama Control Center (orange)
(These can be made up to 12" tall and 10' wide!)
X2 Toys - BG-A Autobot background
X2 Toys - BG-AP Decepticon Base Background
(These you can connect multiple sets together. Some of their upgrade kits come with compatible parts. I'm guessing they have more parts coming.)

- the jet mode reminds me of Brave Exkizer Dyno Guyst (Dino Geist) in jet mode, with how the legs are positioned.
- good to see he has more steps than 1. stand him upright 2. make a sandwich

Wonder if there'll be a new springer and sand storm, I was perfectly happy with the thrilling 30s versions but what with new Astro train and the likelihood of a new octane and blitzwing... I have gone from resenting hasbro releasing new versions of characters I already have in my generations collection to wanting new figures given the TR treatment. Since combiner wars, they seem to have improved quite a bit in design I feel.
Besides the iffy jet mode, my other criticism of broadside is that I'd have loved a leader size consodering his aircraft carrier mode... also, my sixshot needs someone to take him on.
Though, the micro aerialbots is such a great touch it makes up a bit for that...

I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a new Springer or Sandstorm coming soon since it seems they're just doing the last few Triple Changers who haven't yet gotten the Voyager class treatment (Astrotrain, Octane/Tankor, Broadside), along with a new Voyager Blitzwing being done due to all the problems with the previous Voyager Blitzwing.frogbat wrote:Wonder if there'll be a new springer and sand storm, I was perfectly happy with the thrilling 30s versions but what with new Astro train and the likelihood of a new octane and blitzwing... I sure do. A retooled Tidal Wave's not out of the cards though, if Getaway is any indication, there may be a second face plate with that particular tooling.

Yeah, ever since HTS updated their website, I've stopped shopping there. You can't see if there is anything in stock, and if you try to organize the items by newest a bunch of AOE figures pop up. It just isn't user friendly and really sucks for mobile users.

Also sucks for PC users.

That was a different debate. Sigma is talking about the debate over whether the original leaked figure we saw before the official reveal was of Broadside or Tidal Wave based on certain people mistaking certain details on the head as Tidal Wave's (despite the body clearly being Broadside's).
The debate from the rumor list comes from the box sets listing both Shockwave and Tidal Wave and whether or not Shockwave is a mistake from the Chinese rumor source since Tidal Wave was called Shockwave in Japan.

Optimus Prime is being packaged with Soundwave in a revision case for wave 2 so you will eventually find him again.

Probably not, I find it doubtful for Hasbro to re-release figures in a previous line. I suspect those are actually backstock from a different location. To check, look for the embossed number on the back of the box. If it starts with "4", it's 2014 stock (and doesn't have the minor retool later versions of Scattershot and UW Cyclonus sport).

Kind of sad the connection parts aren't really that stable, at least in the case of the toys I have.

They really arent. They are odd too. They end up being tighter on the end attached to another base than the actual base its attached on. But it works out regardless. Did anyone try using the soundwave/blaster back ports?

I tried with Fort Max & the back ones on Blaster. She sheer pressure kept popping them off, they would not stay connected. Did not try with Blaster/PM Prime...

I can but hope that the Price does not got back up to £50.00 when they do come in again (if they do).
Unfortunately the UK doesn't get the same cases as America so you never know what they will sell and what they will skip. It's actually a surprise to me when I see any kind of revision case at all - as I did with RID Warriors in Sainsbury's.
I may end up having to buy a second hand one on eBay I guess. Unless Argos decide to sell leaders again that is in their 2017 catalogue. or TRU or Smyths restock Optimus online.

It's unknown if these photos are of a slightly-unpainted prototype (hence the black faceplate) or not, but it is the first official look of the figure we've ever gotten.

This sighting was reported by our own Megatronus, though the actual source of the pictures is still anonymous. With all the combiner wars box sets making their way to Ross, guess it was only a short time before the big titan on the block made his way over there. Check out the images below, and head on out to your local Ross to hunt down a Fortress of Maximus!

so who else is left? Maybe a new arcee? Bit larger than the previous release which is very good but seeing she was originally a headmaster (in american continuity), it would make sense for her to have a new toy...
misfire and slugslinger would be obvious choices since they seem to be relatively easy to retool from existing TR moulds...

yep he's sorely missing from the line up and this cup could pass off for a rodimus cab... he'd have to be a voyager at least though

The other Targetmasters too; Crosshairs, Sureshot and Pointblank. Also Twin Twist considering we already have Topspin.
This Kup looks INCREDIBLE... at least, the mold does. The Vehicle Mode is a perfect update to make the old weird-looking thing good, and the robot mode is very well proportioned and has those freakin' incredible guns. And I'm sure people can put to rest the idea he's somehow a retool of Blurr. Though I'm sure there'll be some...
Though have some have said... yeaaaah, those colours are not nice. Much as one can criticise Takara for going too far with cartoon accuracy and some of their figures looking bad as a result, this is a case of Hasbro's toy accuracy doing the same thing. I get what they're going for, but it doesn't look nice. I'd be waiting for Takara not because I care about accuracy but because I want a decent-looking colour scheme.
... on a side note, anyone else think this would make an awesome Ironhide? Late-wave redecoes go!
