Woah boy, those gaps dont look good and neither does that alt mode. Also, someone said it somewhere online but the colours on his legs look like an extended version of his face
That Bot wrote:Well I went to my local Fry's today, and in their toy aisle I found.... no Titans Return. But I did find a CW Leader Starscream, who I have previously only seen at a convention, and some RID15 Warriors for $13.99, which I think is literally the best price I've ever seen them at. I may pick somebody up.
Those are good prices, I look forward to knowing what you think of them, I think most are just great, and a nice break from the repeated transformations of CW.

But they werent that at frys, they were 17$, so why did you go there if you wouldnt have picked them up? Or were you there for something else?

What is it with this ridiculous hypoerbole, that toy has been out for about 8 months.

Come one Will, you didn't have COMBINER WARS starscream shelf warming your shelves 2 years ago when we were getting the 3rd wave of Dark Cybertron? It was right there next to voyager Rhinox and Whirl. Remember? When Generations Leader class hadnt existed yet for 3-4 more months until Jetfire was released. It was right there!!

Just begging for the Titans to return. I gotta good feeling that space won't be empty for long.

Thundercracker never appeared here at all, we went straight from the two Megatrons to Skywarp. Then suddenly backtracked to Starscream at one Walmart. I had to go through HTS for Ultra Magnus.

BTW, CW Leader Starscream and Skywarp both showed up here two weeks ago, and I talked my Grandma into getting me Starscream, who is now on my Combiner Wars shelf, which is directly to my left. But I have never seen Leader Ultra Magnus and I have no idea if there even is a Leader Thundercracker. The only other two CW Leaders I've seen in stores over here are Armada Megatron and Skywarp. And the Bruticus limbs showed up 3 weeks ago, after the shelves being only Optimus Maximus limbs since December. Transformers distribution is weird up here in North Western Ohio.

A few reasons. First, I did have other business there. Second, I love that store and don't need much persuasion to just visit it and look around. Third, I am compulsive so if I'd found TR deluxes I probably would have grabbed Skullsmasher. At this point I'm just desperate to see them, period.... although I still haven't got Sky Lynx and may have missed the only chance I had to acquire him at a reasonable price.
As for the price, $36=($17*2)*1.06, the sales tax around here. Or two deluxes at $18 each before tax, because I misremembered the posted price . I'll let you decide which is the truth.

Also, since the Titans returns line seems to homage the g1 toys almost more than the anime, I'd have definitely liked to see soundwave sport a handgun closer to his original, something that war for cybertron soundwave did rather well I thought. I still repute that the original g1's toy's weapons transforming into batteries was one of the best design implementations in the original line up

You could, at the very least, always go for Takara's Lynx Master - you've got that chance, plus it gets you a Ratchet and better decos of Wheeljack, Trailbreaker and Hound. And if you got the last three in Hasbro you could always just sell em off.

I havent seen the Sky Reign limbs, at least I dont remember seeing them. My TRU just restocked with 3 cases of Bruticus limbs. But they will come. And yes, that does mean the schedule for Titans Return gets pushed more towards late summer/early fall which is what Hasbro had said. My TRU will get its TR stuff in August so it might be the same for you.

Anytime between September and November (depending on which way you plan to get him).
Also I forget guys, did Magnus come at the same time as Thundercracker? And what are the Skywarp cases like, is it just 2 skywarps? Because while we have Skywarp, my TRU is overstuffed with Magnus as if they are stocking up for the apocalypse.

I see that on Entertainment Earth, but that's probably a revision case since it says wave 2 and these guys came way later. They were definitely originally sold two of each character per case.

Anyway, on to TR, I've got the Leaders and first wave of Titan Masters in (nothing around here at retail) and man, these are really fun. I'm a big fan of the base modes and you can really put a cool little mini-city together just with these first two leaders. They also have these little tiny pegs on them where you can plug in the Titan Masters' feet so they don't just fall over aimlessly. Loudmouth's vehicle can even make a really cool little radar dish, Nightbeat's is an observation tower for me, Terri-bull's is an armed surveillance camera, and Crash-bash, well, stays in adorable dinosaur mode.
PMOP is getting way too much bummer vibes online. Yes, it's a remold, big whoop. It's a really really super good remold. Being able to have the Titan Masters sit around in the dual guns is a great homage to the Powermasters being able to do the same back in the day. The "official" base mode transformation is a little weak, but it really doesn't take much messing around to make it miles better.
Blaster is also fantastic. Nice to finally have a good 'Classics' styled Blaster after all these years. Having to take the head off to transform it doesn't bother me, and maybe one day I'll understand why this is such a sticking point for some folks. Is it a worry that the character won't be done again, ever, in this style and you feel like you'll be stuck with some inferior Headmaster Blaster for your 'Classics' collection? I think if we've learned anything lately, it's that they'll recycle a popular character if it fits in a line well. Additionally, if you really want a definitive, cartoon styled Blaster, just go buy the KFC Transistor. You won't beat it. It's a great toy.
That tangent aside, my only gripe is that the base mode connectors on the leaders don't have the ability to truly connect to either Micromaster bases or the older Cyberverse style connectors. I didn't expect them to, but once you get a look at them they're so close yet so far away from looking like they could work with Micromasters that if you're like me and desired such a thing, you'll sigh and wonder what could have been.
Anyhow, what I have of this line so far is just fantastically playable. These are collector-oriented products that also cater to folks that like to still play with their toys on occasion, and I think that's a super smart balance for the Generations line to start hitting given that so much of the "serious" collecting pieces have moved over to Masterpiece. I'm all in, bring on the rest!

Laserbeak and Rumble - along with Ravage - are confirmed for Legends Wave 2 so you should be able to get them at the same time as Soundwave, who is Leader Wave 2.

Today's hunt paid off! I hit the TRU across the river from Omaha in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and to my chagrin found two lonely TR Voyagers waaaaaaaaaay up on the top shelf.
I nabbed Galvy, but left Sentinel behind for another lucky hunter.
He rang up for $24.99, which I found surprising considering TRU's recent pricing track record.
THEY HAVE RETURNED!!!
