Still. Good that we're getting them. I might get Galvatron, Skullcruncher and Hardhead, but given our country's habits of skipping waves (probably exacerbated severely after the Brexit made Britain great again) I won't get my hopes up for any others.

I dont get what Brexit has to do with UK distribution, isnt it handled by hasbro UK which is its own division of the company? The free trade was between the EU and UK, they dont seel TFs to oneanother last time I checked. So things should remain status quo.

Mine barely sell toys at all; I remember that they had the old bohrok-va's from bionicle, they had an exclusive deal to get the mask of time, so they did actually have good exclusive deals way back when

Fellow Seibertronians, do you all remember when we broke the news that Titans Return Brainstorm was originally going to be an SDCC exclusive?

Another Titans Return related tidbit that warrants mentioning is the exclusivity of Titans Return Brainstorm. While we knew it was coming first as part of a SDCC exclusive set, there was an assumption that he would also get an individual release. However, an older interview with Hasbro surfaced on our boards with them saying that this Blurr retool was currently only planned to be available in this exclusive box set and would not be sold individually. While this wasn't known for certain, this shouldn't be such a big surprise since none of the rumours and confirmed Titans Return waves for 2017 include Brainstorm as a solo release.

Well, worry no more, as according to Steven Ganne's twitter account - and thanks to our own jamesbenjamin, Brainstorm is not only packaged for retail release already, but is exclusive to Walgreen's. As a toy distributor for Walgreens, they seem to have gotten their hands on at least 2 Brainstorms, as can be seen below. This should ease some of the anticipation surrounding the apparent exclusivity of the figure. So, check out the photo and comments on his twitter feed, and let us know what you make of it in the comments below.

I never doubted that he would get a single release. I mean, this is the same company that said last year: "We have no plans for Computron", yet look where we are now.

Generally how exclusives work is that they'll all be available in some store in your country.
So it's exclusive to Walgreens in the US. Here in the UK it might be exclusive to, say, Smyths. And for Canada... uh... one of your stores I've never been

And Walmart picked up the a Kmart exclusive. So it could very well be that any of those picks up this brainstorm figure in Canada. Dont lose hope guys.

Back when Animated was around, Walgreens was the only place I could find Deluxe Swoop at by the time I had gotten to hunting him down (I'd prioritized getting certain other Animated figures before Swoop back when Swoop had first come out, so I didn't get him right away, leaving Walgreens the only place I could find him when I did).

This should be an interesting hunt, but a worth it hunt if I can get Brainstorm. The way it's looking, it kinda seems like Brainstorm might come out at a random time, and not whenever a specific wave comes out.

Also, if worse comes to worst, the online stores will surely get their hands on some too. I know that will probably cost more that brick-and-mortar, but surely that's better than yesterday when the apparent choices were 1/4 of a convention box set or not at all.

(I bring this up because I plan on going online anyway; the Walgreens around me don't typically carry Transformers, whether exclusive or not.)

Yeah, this will likely get everyone a brainstorm figure, I'll probably get it, looks way better than tr crap tr blurr, and the mold looks really nice

SO GLAD it's not a TRU exclusive or I'd never find it! At least there's a local Walgreens I can check (I've only been in there once), I just hope I'm the only one looking for him when they start coming out. I do have some other options about 70 miles north of me so this may require a road trip.

Oh, I am willing to pay secondary market prices for SDCC Brainstorm, though I think there is a good shot at the set being available on HTS after the convention. The SDCC version looks very IDW faithful in its deco, so I wonder if the Walgreens release will be more G1 toy or screen accurate, which would be preferable to me.

From what we can tell from the photo, and the previous fully body artwork, the standalone figure looks to be colored toy-accurately.
