Sabrblade wrote:The more I see in this trailers and TV spots of Sir Edmund Burton talking about Cade's lifelong destiny and such, the more I get the feeling that it would have made more narrative sense, across all five films, for Cade's role to have been kept by Sam instead, since the first three films were arguably about Sam's journey in life and then along comes Cade four movies in to take Sam's lead spotlight role, only for Cade to now suddenly have this important destiny tied to the Transformers, which also happens to be affiliated with the Witwiccan clan (Sam's ancestry).
Granted, I like Cade as a character better than Sam, but between the two of them, things are looking more and more like they would have made more sense for Sam to have been the special chosen one in this case.
Plot twist Cade is Sam...calling it here right now. /s

Doubt it. Cade had Tessa while he was still in high school. Sam was with Mikaela in his high school years and she didn't look anything like Cade's wife, nor was Sam a teen father since he had no children in ROTF, by which point he had entered college.Deadput wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The more I see in this trailers and TV spots of Sir Edmund Burton talking about Cade's lifelong destiny and such, the more I get the feeling that it would have made more narrative sense, across all five films, for Cade's role to have been kept by Sam instead, since the first three films were arguably about Sam's journey in life and then along comes Cade four movies in to take Sam's lead spotlight role, only for Cade to now suddenly have this important destiny tied to the Transformers, which also happens to be affiliated with the Witwiccan clan (Sam's ancestry).

I think that may have been a joke, although it would speak to the incredibly convoluted, borderline contradictory chronology of events that span these movies.

The first 10 seconds show the brief scene of Canopy standing up but a cool addition is that he has a voice where he grunts and says hello Canopy is officially the most robot sounding Transformer so far in the movies and not in a bad way.

Seibertronian movie fans SlyTF1 and Deadput have both found new spots. The first one (on Instagram) shows the return of Morshower (played by Glenn Morshower) along with many new action shots. The second, called faith (and numbered as TV Spot 26!) features new dialogue by Marky MarK.

Yeah? and how does the whole story go? Most of these trailers only have 1 to 3 new things in them so we've haven't even seen 10 minutes of the film.
People should really think before posting things like "we've seen the whole movie" because no you have not and it's arrogant to think otherwise.
Also it's Literally not Litteraly.

Its an improvement. That J-Lo joke is a pretty poorly written line. I dont even get the joke, why compare a woman known for her sex appeal with a kid?

Cool, then let me know how it ends, who dies, who lives with some video footage as proof and I will news it and give you credit

It's kind of a cool thing and would love to see that more often.
I am glad you like it We all have what excites us about the brand and the movies are not it for me. But I still want to give our readers as much insight as possible, so I feel the best way is to quote those who are fans and see more than me

My Mom actually explained to me it was because Jennifer plays action roles i'm not sure if that's accurate or not.

Jennifer Lopez does action? Noooooooooo. What movie roles she's done have been mostly comedy.
Probably thinking of Jennifer Lawrence.

Yeah your right I just googled it up so Mum's probably just misremembering.
I don't watch comedies myself or well most movies for that matter so I wouldn't know.

I am not saying his mom is right (she's not), but J-Lo did start her career with some more action oriented stuff like Out of Sight, Money Train, Anaconda and Enough.
But she is far better known for her romantic comedies like Maid in Manhattan and the Wedding Planner and thats mainly what she does these days (well, when she can spare not appearing on a reality contest show for more than a week).
Anyways, the point is, thats not the joke, and we still dont know what the joke is. That is not a sign of great writing.

I'm just kidding but in all seriousness it is a weirdly written line but at least there are other better written lines and jokes so far going by the trailers and the Imax fan event.

It's just saying she's sassy. J-lo was (I presume) big around Cade's time.

This one potentially spoils the end of the movie so don't watch if none of you want to be spoiled.

Really?
It's one of the worse in the franchise whoever made it can't use photoshop properly at least in regards to the characters since the Cybertron and Stonehedge placements are ok.
At least it's got a better color choice then that other one which is without a doubt the worse one.
Just ugh

Almost sounds like a gimmick for a line based around spy themed Transformers like Soundwave or Punch that would actually be a cool toyline based around mystery and most if not all the figures are spy or stealth based Transformers.

I think I see what this poster is trying to say. Bumblebee sides with a union of Earth and Cybertron; yet knowing enough to protect one from the other.
Optimus stands for the people too lazy to put in a background.

The aesthetics may be appealing, but you can see the borders of each figure where it has been cut out of another image and pasted onto this one! I wasn't trying to say they're objectively bad, just badly done, or put together.

As for TLK, so far I get the vibe that it will be superior to RoTF and AoE, and on par with the original and DoTM.
I am most curious as to how they will reconcile having both Megatron and Galvatron.

Which is way too damn short for me. I've always said that any movie that isn't at LEAST 2 hours and 30 minutes long is complete trash. I've watched a lot of movies, and it always disappoints me when they feel shorter than that.

But I consider DOTM and AOE to far superior to the first 2. Especially AOE.

Well of course DOTM is the best "movie" in the franchise although it might not be the best "Transformers movie" for some.
Many of AOE's bits and flaws makes it the worse but is balanced out by the decent robot screen time even if their reduced to one liners mostly in a way it's almost the mirror of ROTF.
(Remember all of this is in my very own not so unique humble opinion)
