The bulky (geddit) simplified toy rang up at 19990 Chilean pesos (approx 30.5 USD) while the smaller ones 5990 (9 USD), and Heht Rehd a slightly higher price of 6990 (10 USD). The former three were all found at Falabella de Paseo Puente, in Santiago Centro, whereas Hurht Rohrd was spotted in the Supermercado Líder de General Velasquez (Santiago Central Station). Eh, I used to own this guy. This mold suck mighty ass though.
As for altmode, Megatron can never settle on one form. He's like a prima-diva with a huge walk-in and change shoes to match his purse. Through the universes, Starscream was always a type of fighter jet. So I do hope the trend will remain.
If they release a Starscream Titan Master, I know what to do................

The bummer though, and the reason I am not more excited for him:
Very first transformation, the crotch piece broke. Very first piece I went to transform. it sucks. But if it weren't for that piece, I would sing his praises. Probably the best deluxe of the line, though he competes some with Sqweeks there. I'll need to take some more pictures of him later with the Autobot crew from the knight trilogy (or at least what is supposed to be a knight trilogy)

Cogman is an exclusive to the most random store you will never expect to find him.
No, seriously.
Don't take any chances. Pay 10$ more than retail and import him. He's very, VERY worth it.
OOOOOOooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Well well well, seem like it's only 5ish bucks more instead. So don't wait:

Not only you will have it 5$ cheaper than me, I'm pretty sure you Aussies are used to pay insane price for about everything. So that Cogman may be at (almost) exactly retail price for you, including taxes.
EDIT:
If you are not Australian, please move over there ASAP so I don't look like a fool.

Haha! I come from the land down under NZ, not Aussie! Moving on, I can confirm the pricing here is indeed insane, this Cogman ain't to far off what I usually pay though.

Eh, close enough!
Too bad deluxe Cogman suffer from the "tail line" syndrome.
Still, it could have been worse. It could have been like this trio of deluxes from DOTM: Soundwave, Q, and Leadfoot.
All 3 had very limited release in non-Japan Asia only. At the time, and mostly today, Deluxe Soundwave and Leadfoot have insane prices. Like 100-200$ insane.

Poor Leadfoot, Both Que and Soundwave got there molds released in later lines, but he's still stuck in 2011 with the rest of the wreckers

Overall, he is a pretty good figure. The paint work on him is spectacular! And I love the Headmaster. The transformation feels like TLK Barricade mixed with AoE Ninja Bee, and it is quite satisfying.

I got my Cogman from China too. I have yet to see a deluxe past wave 1 anywhere here, and most likely won't.
As for these 3, I got Que on Amazon for $27 back at the end of 2011, and I love him, one of my favorite movie deluxes actually, and he is my 2nd favorite DotM figure after Topspin. Never saw the other 2 for a decent price ever. Just had to use my RotF Soundwave and HA Leadfoot.
I hate tail enders and the difficulty with getting them, especially when they are figures I would prefer to get over beginning of the liners

I decided to pick up Steelbane because they had him and I wanted to support wave 2, which was out of Drifts and there was still a mountain of wave 1 sitting on top of the shelf.
He is very substandard. Robot mode is pretty sweet with the knight look that I like, but his alt mode just shouldn't exist. Mine had a floopy right shoulder and ankle, but after moving them a little bit, they tightened up, though I still added some tissues to the joints.
Probably should have just passed, but, finally saw wave 2

Part of the latter end of the movie toyline, the Allspark Tech toys are podgy little box figures which feature electronics and an interactive play pattern of sorts, with cubes fitting the various characters' chests. Check out below how this works for Sqweeks in particular, which follows the likes of Optimus Prime, Nemesis Prime, Megatron, Barricade, Drift, Bumblebee and Hound, then let us know what you think in the Energon Pub discussion boards.

He started appearing at Walmarts in Canada so its possible he will be found at Walmarts in the US in the coming month.
Also there is no such thing as a Takara "version", since both are the same version. Its just released by two different companies.

Well, there's the Japanese / Chinese sticker on the packaging.

Don't let anyone of either country hear you say that! They're not the same, in fact it's a big pet peeve.
Besides, China is serviced by Hasbro.

What I meant is one OR the other.
I got the "Chinese" version so my sticker was in Chinese. There was even a Chinese instruction manual include beside the standard one.
I'm also a big fan of Chinese Cartoons so I know the difference.

Don't be fooled by pictures. It's really the exact same toy, box and all. Just a Japanese sticker added on the back and possibly a Japanese instruction manual added inside. Like the "Chinese" version.
The only reason to chose an Asian release over a local one is if the local one just won't show up. Like I did. Ironically, I was still waiting for my Cogman when I finally found one in store. Even though I paid 11$CAN extra over the regular price, I still had to wait a bit for my Chinese one to arrive...

Same thing with TLK Hot Rod. I got one from Amazon Japan and it was literally just the American "Autobots Unite" figure with some Japanese stickers on it. I do still wonder why he (Hot Rod) never saw a release at B&M in the U.S.

There are parts on the shoulder that look darker compared to the pic on the back. I'll have to look for more pics.

Well, why not? Dunno how that would look though. Maybe digi-bash the result? If it's look good enough for you, then hope the ball joints are compatible. If not, just MAKE it work. I do it all the time for my customs.

I no longer have DOTM deluxe Barricade and my TLK is in a moving box. So I can't tell. If you don't have a DOTM deluxe Barricade on hand and your only Option is Ebay, it's a hard call to make. But if you have him and all you have to do is to buy a TLK one, then just buy it and see for yourself. In case of complete incompatibility, you'll have to use some scrap you may "or should have) on hand to make it work. Often, I even have to adapt heads that came from balljoint to swivel mushroom pegs and vice-versa!
Anyway, you better ask those questions OVER THERE in order to stay on topic and getting more help.
