Thanks to Seibertronian Autobot N and weibo user 变形金刚改造工厂的淘宝店 we have yet another potential Last Knight figure for you to check out. As we previously showed you, the line is set to release a Demon Combiner and yet another Megatron (not that we're complaining), and it seems we will get another new figure in the form of Skullitron! Skullitron is a repaint and slight retool of the Steelbane deluxe figure we saw revealed at Toy Fair. We still have yet to figure out if these newly revealed figures are potential exclusives or actual wide-spread releases, but they are bringing some cool ideas to the table! Check out the image below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

I love the absolute plethora of ridiculous edgy names we're getting. Skullitron, Thrash, Infernocus... it's not even movie edgy or anything, it's like... it's like if you gave superhero names to metal bands. I friggin' love this

No idea where all these new guys are coming from, but this is the first I'm not interested in. I have no interest in Steelbane, and no interest in this retool.

However, going off Autobot N, here is my updated list of needs and desires from the line.

Definite buy:
Deluxe: Sqweeks, Barricade, Beserker, New Bee, Megatron
Voyager: Scorn, Megatron
Leader: Megatron
Combiner: Infernocus

Maybes:
Deluxe: Nitro (depends on full reveal)
Voyager: Hound, Prime
Leader: Dragotron (depends on looks)

I'm a completionist when it comes to the movies, and those figures honestly have me really excited. Hot Rod i will most likely get, but I need to see him to determine how excited I am. If the rumor of him being yet another use of the Roadbuster/Lockdown scheme I may pass

Skullitron? SKULLITRON?

I mean, I know the naming department is lazy these days but come on. If they wanted "skull" in the name somewhere why not Skullcruncher/Smasher or Skullgrin?

Cos people would bitch they don't look anything like the G1 characters that first used the names?

Ok, usually I have a great eye for detail, but I can't believe I missed an important detail. Going over the images one by one, I can say Infernocus is authentic, while the rest I'm really iffy about. You'll know why with this simple question:

"Where are the "tm" and "®" marks on those names?"

:EDIT: Again, I answered my own question. The presence of the German "Ritter von Cybertron" and "Skrupelloser Unterdrücker" indicates they're from the European boxes, and those never show the marks.

When you write that, are you aware that this was confirmed to be a hasbro Asia Exclusive figure? It will still be easy to get, but will have that premium import price on BBTS and other sites.

This being another redeco with the same glyph "gimick" advertized really makes it look more like the Trans scan series or other store exclusive non mainline toys. It makes far more sense at this point that they are all exclusives. And as we know, exclusives all deal independently from the distribution of hasbro's main line and thus are more likely for leaks, like those RID toys that keep appearing without any of us knowing.

So yeah, right now, I am thinking these 3 toys are all store exclusives. That totally explains why they arent in the initial mainline listings.

Maybe, or maybe the EU packaging is less tightly secured, being more of an after-product? I don't know... Typically exclusives in Europe are haphazard when it comes to stores, except in the UK where some chains are partnered with US ones.

Doesn't sound any dumber then most names in Transformers which are all silly one way or another.

Because a name like Starscream sounds like an intelligent name doesn't it?

I hope I can get both Horsey Dragons then I can have one ride on the other Junkion style. But I like them anyway as I like the JP Pteradactyl wing folding for the for limbs not just as it looks cool - but because so long as they have some good neck motion you should be able to lean them back with their wings spread for a wyvern Dragon flying mode too.

So lots of play value there then.

I kinda wish that they'd had another "Dredd" as one of the repaint/mild remoulds - that would have been nice to have.

Also I am hoping that to bulkout the Bumblebee Movie line Hasbro will revisit the previous Movies then - since they seem to only be doing it very slightly now. A Deluxe Crowbar would be nice for example.

You know what there is a strange relative lack of so far "Hotrod" toys.
Also the Motorcycles too.

I have no idea why, but this image of Skullitron has made me excited for Steelbane. I dunno, I think it's because that render makes the mold look better. Anyway, Steelbane has been added to my definite buys list and Skullitron is on the maybes.

Not only Devastator, but the first movie line had a Target exclusive line that while cancelled was going to include:

Gunbarrel:

Later these same molds and Onslaught were released for Revenge of the Fallen again as a Target exclusive Bruticus Maximus:

So its hardly the first time a movie line has had combiners, or even used mold from other lines for exclusive side sub-lines.

True, but it's been a long time since a movie line's had combiners - literally 7 years ago at best - and it's suspiciously very soon after both Combiner Wars and Combiner Force. Dunno what I'm trying to say or which tinfoil hat I'm grabbing for, but there's something there...

Is the only Devastator I've ever liked (always found the G1 version boring even as a kid) but due to the nature of the gimmick I never seem to find more than random parts of it in chartiy shops and car boot sales. Though thinking about it now I could have probably almost cobbled together a whole one... never seen the middle section yet.

I think ROTF Devastator is a good concept especially the vortex grinder but I think most people's problems were that he was called Devastator and that one joke with Simmons I'm not going to talk about.

I thought a big problem was that it wasnt made of individual robots. That is my problem with it. Its tehnically more of a Power Rangers MegaZord than a full on TF Combiner.

To be fair, it's quite likely he's named after the actual motorcycle trick, especially considering he's a kid-appeal character in the 80s and they'd want something TOTALLY SICK TUBULAR AWESOME for his name. But there's also a fair chance you're right too and it's just laziness.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go cry for a minute because I was put in a position where I had to defend the viewpoint of 'Skullitron' being a bad name in lieu of praising Wheelie.

That would be reasonable. Especially because it will be a normal release and not a Platinum-Exclusive bullcrap thing with an outrageously inflated price.

Amazon Spain has updated their website with official images for Turbo Changers Armor Up Megatron and Grimlock. We have seen plenty of images of Grimlock previously but we never got great images of the Megatron, until now. You can see them below. They arent as extensive as the Grimlock images, which also showed a sense of height and playability with the battle mask, but them being part of the same line and having the same 30 euro price point means that they will be as big and both have both a normal face underneath the mask (although Megatron's is still not shown). A picture of Grimlock is provided below to give a sense of scale of these figures which would be around the size, complexity and price of the RID gimmick centered toys like Power Surge Bumblebee, Sideswipe and Optimus.

Also, for those interested, their universal product codes are C1318ES0 for Grimlock and C2824ES0 for Megatron, and Amazon Spain states that they are shipping out in 1-2 months.
