Because he never was Galvatron. Galvatron is a KSI clone of Megatron.
"Within that manmade prototype I fought, I sensed the presence of Megatron."

"KSI might'a named the body the snappy name a' 'Galvatron', but that's just Megatron reincarnated."

Of course the "presence" of Megatron was there. KSI copied his brain and put it into a body that Megatron himself manipulated the KSI scientists into building. But without his spark, which was stated as a Transformer's soul, Galvatron cannot be Megatron. He himself said during the fight, he did not have a soul. So what happened to Megatron's spark? It was never specifically stated that it was destroyed at the end of DoTM. Prime ripped his head and spine out, and there were a lot of sparks, but that doesn't necessarily mean the spark was destroyed. And if indeed it WAS, then it's impossible for Galvatron to be a sentient reincarnation of Megatron, as a Transformer defines it, because there is no soul present if there is no spark present. So I stand by my statement, Galvatron is NOT actually Megatron, only a copy of him. And the question remains: where is Megatron's spark? We know where the head is. At KSI. Where is the spark?

Seriously though wheel feet were some of the best things to come out of there.

Yeah, honestly, wheel feet were a fantastic idea.

Yeah but the movieverse didn't "invent" them.

Well, those are a singular wheel in place of legs, and (in that mode) non-moving treads for feet respectively. Bayverse was kinda the first to think of having normal legs with wheels for feet that act like roller skates.

Megatron is an improvement from the old skeletal design, I never really liked Transformers having gaping holes in their bodies (for example Blackout's legs).

Now, we have Bumblebee:

This is the first design I can honestly say I'm disappointed or underwhelmed by. I liked his AOE design much better. His AOE look is probably the only Bumblebee design in the history of Transformers I've genuinely liked.

Lil undecided on Bumblebee. He's got his old look back just updated to the new car model. While I always liked his general look I really liked his AoE body type a lot too and hoped that would get some more use (I love the Deluxe toy also) Ah well, he still looks cool.

Seibertronians, the official TF5 Instagram has been doing some big reveals lately, sharing almost all of the main cast of Autobots and a few Decepticons, including Megatron himself. Today they've shared one Autobot that we're all familiar with, Bumblebee! He's been the star of the past 4 Bayverse movies, and he returns for the Last Knight with a brand new Camaro alt mode, and a re-vamped robot mode! It doesn't look too different than his previous robot forms, especially his look in Age Of Extinction. However, you can see some different elements from his new Camaro mode now included. He appears to have that retracting battle mask feature, same as his previous incarnations. Check him out below!

Image

Leave your thoughts in the comments, do.you.like this design more or less than his 2010 design? Or his Age Of Extinction design? And remember to keep those optics and audio sensors tuned to Seibertron.com for all the latest and greatest Transformers news.

Looks like an atypical and almost recognizable design for Bumblebee from his previous incarnations in the Bayverse at least. I wonder if they're going to change his look again for his solo movie. Gotta sell those toys.

I can see the dressing room now...

"Alright 'Bee, the costume designer wants to go back to your old outfit, it's what the audience knows. I'm thinkin' classic! I'm thinkin' iconic! It's so YOU, baby! Yeah! Okay here's your motivation: you realized that you copied the look of the guy who was trying to be a copy-cat of you, and that's not really a good message for the kids, so you decided to go back to being yourself. BEE yourself, hey that's good... Get marketing on that, make it a hashtag... Oh, forgot to tell ya, we changed your bra again, nbd, you know the drill." ;)^

Between the first three films and AOE they changed the design quite a bit. This one looks to be a combination of the two. In AOE all of his parts were fitted very close to each other and streamlined to look very organic, or at least not like an identifiable car. The big difference, here, is the chest piece which is more identifiable as a car bumper split in two like his original designs. The other thing is that the face mask is basically the one from AOE.

Personally, I'd like for them to go more classic and vehicle like with all of these designs, since it's still hard to tell what they actually turn into. Crosshair and Megatron especially. I also really, really, really despise the transformations in the 4th movie where the decepticons just explode into bits and reform. So, I hope they put the kabosh on that.

I personally never see much of a difference between the movie Bumblebees, at least not in robot mode. I can see the differences in Optimus; AoE was a design overhaul for him, but... Bumblebee? I'm not denying there's changes, I just don't really see them.

Bumblebee is growing up fast. In the first movie he was 16.2 feet tall, now he's 18 and taller than Drift. So much for being the runt of the team.

I really have to ask, what's the point of turning him into Galvatron in AOE if they were going to turn him back in TLK? Doesn't it kind of defeat the purpose of Megatron becoming Galvatron? Hell, his last line in the previous film was "I am reborn", thus implying that he's still Galvatron. Not helped by the fact that, in general, I don't care for the redesign. The whole knight aesthetic may have worked for Prime and the Dinobots, but not for the ruthless and maniacal overlord with a cannon on his arm who is bent on destroying all who stands in his way. And I really don't like the horn thing going on with his helmet; retracted, it makes him look like a goat, but deployed, he just looks like the Dreads from DOTM, who look like the Predator. In short, this doesn't make sense contextually and doesn't work from a design stand-point.

That one's either from the first one or ROTF. I don't know the differences between his chest in the first one and ROTF, but I do know that in DOTM, his chest was compacted a tiny bit and had two arm/bar/lever things going across the bottom of the two car front half boob things. That's far from a technical description, but they are fairly obvious if you compare the two. The difference between the first 3 movies' Bumblebee and AOE Bumblebee are way more obvious, of course.

That's the TF1 design. ROTF Bumblebee had black squares around his fog lights or whatever, and DOTM Bublebee had extra pieces covering his chest/abdomen area.

In addition to getting a sneak peak at some of the massive sets and getting to meet Michael Bay himself, we got some personal time with some of the real stars of the movie ... the Transformers themselves! Each gallery below includes multiple shots of each vehicle that we got to see from the heroic Autobots Bumblebee, Drift, and Optimus Prime to the evil Decepticons Onslaught and Barricade! Click on an image below to view a gallery of that respective character's alt mode. Please note that each vehicle has its own unique gallery in our ongoing Transformers Movie related gallery section.

In case you missed it earlier this week, we also posted some walkaround videos of the vehicles on our YouTube channel, which you can view by clicking here.

Special thanks again and much appreciation to Paramount for orchestrating our set visit. What an amazing experience!

Yes for example the pic you have is movie one and not even a final render at that.

Here is a real render of Movie 1 Bee

Here is ROTF and DOTM respectively with similar poses/renders.

Chest's are different and Bumblebee's shoulders are larger in DOTM and this was stated by people who worked on the movie during DOTM and they said it was to show how more mature Bee was at that point.

The differences are pretty obvious Bumblebee is never exactly the same in each movie.
