Well we have answers for you and they are all the best answers possible. A picture of the back of the leader class toy's box appeared on instagram and it shows that he does indeed come with 2 flame accessories, for both his jet thrusters and it reveals his complexity. Leader Megatron will take approximately 30 steps to convert (depending on what Hasbro considers a step). This is leagues beyond any toy from the previous toy line or any Transformers toy of the past 5 years.
Also, the back of the box shows us his bio and that his wave mate is the redeco of the Age of Extinction Leader Optimus Prime that was also on display at Toy Fair. It also shows his battle face which has the faceplate we previously saw but it also shows that his ram horns are poseable and can be brought closer to his face to complete the look.

Huh...? It's Cybertronian, yes, but it very clearly has a defined shape and form modelled after some kind of jet rather than just random collection of robot parts shoved together. It's a very attractive alt mode, at that; and arguably demonstrates the best way to do a Cybertronian mode - take a familiar concept but make it very alien.

Nonsense, those steps include transforming between 3 modes. From one to another its just about 15 steps, which leader megs doubles. Lets not be ridiculous in trying to be snarky.

*Plus all the ones left out of the instructions.
**Plus all the what should be separate steps crammed into one confusingly drawn one.
That jet mode is pretty sweet looking.

I'd bet that the tusks(horns) and face plate move in synch. Mask up, tusks in. Mask down, tusks out. Will be cool to see.william-james88 wrote:It also shows his battle face which has the faceplate we previously saw but it also shows that his ram horns are poseable and can be brought closer to his face to complete the look.
I was going to be modest and entertain the idea of the voyager, but this leader keeps getting better. Finally a Megs to go with my 2007 Leader Prime.
Also that big red dragon is catching my fancy just because I heart dragons.

Never liked the 2007 weird jet thing or the 2009 tank thing.
The 2011 truck was cool looking but never actually got him for some reason.
And the 2014 Galvatron was just meh!.
This is the first Megs I like in both modes, and that actually looks cool.
That Jet mode is very very sleek, and leagues better than his cybertronian mashup of parts from 2007.
And at the very least, his head is not just sitting there in alt mode to be seen by everyone. That surely is a step up from his previous flying versions.

The Autobot dragon is pretty freaking sweet, too. Its armor in robot mode reminds me of that of a paladin.

I dont know man, that list goes against what Hasbro was telling Seibertron at the show. For instance, our team was told that MP Bumblebee would e out before the movie but that list has it as a fall item.
I realy think its all up in the air with the only street date given being April 24th (though we do not know exactly what will be out then).

I have not heard anything, but I assume if they sell well there will be. I think the Kreo minifigs were a success so there might be a correlation here.

Technically Galvatron in Age of Extinction was not Megatron. He was engineered from the remains of Megatron, but was not supposed to be him.
Megatron's consciousness however re-emerged, and took over the new Galvatron body.
He was called Galvatron, because the humans that created him in the movie called him that. At the end of AOE Megatron's persona had completely returned and he was once again Megatron.
So there is an in story reason for why he was Galvatron, and is now again Megatron. Though how they will write away the Transformium from AOE, since he doesn't seem to be able to turn into a cloud of tiny cubes now, is yet to be seen. Or maybe I've missed that explanation somewhere.

We also have these listings from Takara which show that in their line, deluxe Barricade has the Mars codename.
It is unknown if the codenames for the Takara line line up with the Hasbro line and if the code name remains the same for the same character throughout all classes and toy lines. We know it is not the case with Optimus since he is both Four Moons and Jupiter (we assume). But if you assume that Mars for Takara is also Mars for Hasbro and that it is also Mars for the MPM line, then it could very well be that the MPM release we do not know about yet is Barricade. Let us know what you think.

I always felt that was piss poor writing or the branding team trying way too hard. Why would he call himself what the humans call him, he hates them.
Posted by Sabrblade on February 27th, 2017 @ 10:33pm CST
Well, we're never actually told how the humans came up with the name. Suppose that Megatron secretly fed them the name behind the scenes, without their knowing of his influence in crafting the name. After all, Joshua wanted to make Galvatron look like Optimus, but why would he give an Optimus lookalike a name that is vaguely reminiscent of Megatron?william-james88 wrote:

It's strange how we saw Barricade so early when he's not in the 1st wave.
