One of the most downright dangerous and deadly Transformers of all arrives on Earth in single-minded, stop-at-nothing pursuit of his prey. If you think we’re talking about a Decepticon here, think again! Meet Sideswipe, the Autobots’ very own lethal weapon.
You can check out the 5-page preview, as well as the 2 different accompanying covers here. You can also check out the Vector Sigma Database for a look at Tales of the Fallen #2's description and one of it's covers.

Now that you mention it, he does look like a Bayformer Depthcharge on the "A" cover, with the mouth and the wings...

According to the preview site, a new artist, Carlos Magno. Reminds me of the UK magazine style.

The 5 page preview is a bit disappointing as Sideswipe is seemingly a 1 dimensional revenge character, which we've seen so many times before. Seeing as it's just 5 pages, though, I'd like to see what the rest of the issue does with the character.

furman is probably trying to justfiy some of , well lets just say it, nutty things that happend in the film for no reason.
from what ive read he reads alot like grimlock to me, or failing that wolverine which another poster here once thought he'd be like based on the forearm blades.
its suit me. no harm giving him an edge, and hey original G1 sideswipe was meant to be a rule bender anyway so its not a huge leap away.

Dang, I got the wrong artist. Milne's the cover artist for the one mirrored in this news post.
