Poor neglected RID.

John Warden (or the guy interviewing him) even forgot it existed (as they did Rescue Bots too) in the recent Forbes interview.

Well I say interview more like a press release pretending to be an interview.

I am so sad for the toyline. Those minis ended up at TJMAxx and such? Damn. and then finding these guys is so hard anywhere and the distribution sucks. I really want these guys, but just can't find them!

The molds of most minis were available in other ways right? Like Hammer is with Crazybolt and Back is with Battlepack Grimlock. And the others are in that 4 pac with weapon slipstream. If one skips wave 3 and 4, is tehre a mold that we wouldnt have?

It's not that I want different molds, it's that I want to finish the minicon pairs. I want forth to go with my back, I want Swelter and Glacius so I have that pair, and I need Ransack to go with Backtrack, so it's more me finishing the show minicon pairs

I have the Back that came with Grimlock, I want the individual Forth since the paint jobs are reversed basically

I'm loving Beastbox. Dragonus, Slipstream, and Divebomb are alright but maaan Beastbox is a dangerously awesome little ape. The lack of articulation doesn't even bother me. Buying these 4 unlocked the need to get more mini-cons. Definitely gonna have to pick up the ones that turn into weapons. Might even need to fill in the gaps of the first couple waves so I can make the shark and lion energy beasts.

Technically, there are no actual toys of Forth yet. See the following for an explanation of the confusion:
http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Back
http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Forth
Back's Wiki article wrote:Prior to the toy's release, there was quite a bit of confusion regarding single-packed Back's name. Some online retailers initially solicited the figure under the names "Decepticon Backfire" or "Kickback". Whilst the figure was subsequently named as just "Decepticon Back" in official Hasbro solicitations, stock photos of the toy in packaging and in the Robots in Disguise mobile game, further confusion arose when the figure's North American packaging sported the name "Decepticon Forth", as did the listing on the official Hasbro.com website. International releases, including Hong Kong, Australia and Europe, still sport the "Back" name. Eventually both versions were even found side by side at the same store in the US… and then Hasbro released a Mini-Con Mega-Pack sporting an unchanged re-release of the figure, again named "Decepticon Forth". With the Robots in Disguise cartoon having presented Forth as a very different-looking character, this wiki currently treats that name for the figure as an error, though we can't help but notice that Hasbro seems to keep quite literally going back and forth with the figure's name.
Forth's Wiki article wrote:For reasons unknown, the North American packaging of Back's single-packed toy labels him as Forth, which led to a whole heap of confusion between the characters until their cartoon debut.

Dunno what's taking Hasbro so long to get on the ball with making an actual Forth toy that isn't just Back with Forth's name.

I mean this dragon right here? This looks awesome. Give us a toy of this dragon, Hasbro!

Well I got Warrior Class Windblade, Scorponok & Power Surge Optimus Prime - pleasingly quickly in the UK - now the question is will the Legion Class, One steps and Minicons show up too.

I only rarely see Minicons for sale and frankly they cost to much at £7.00 each. (especially with the lack of paint and lack of Articulation in them).

They are more like a £4.50 price toy. The gift sets are much better value - so hopefully some of them will show up - i do think it's a shame though that they didn't keep the parts frame on all versions as it would be nice to get the accessory parts in enough colours to make multiple coloured lion/sharks.

Hopefully more stuff will begin to show up after September.

I thought the UK was up to date on minicons. Kurona reported seeing weapon dragonus months ago. Those still haven't shown up in north America yet.

eBay doesn't have them? I'd try. Looking on the Hasbro website as well if I were you. If I see anything online then I'll let you know.

Minicons are just thin on the ground in my neck of the woods is all
One big Tesco and one big Sainsburys in 3 counties is the only place I know that sells them. (all wave 1) and all £7.00 each still. I did see them reduced to £5.40 once but even that was pricey I thought.

They are also out of stock online on The Entertainer too.
I don't see many Rescue Bots either as the main places to buy them I don't have except 50 miles away from me.

Has anyone found RiD Scorponok or Paralon in U.S. ToysRUs stores yet? Paralon's been out in Canada for weeks now and Scorponok from overseas, but they're naturally all priced absurdly high because they aren't out in the States yet.

I wouldn't expect them in the states for a few more weeks. Usually takes a lot of time before they come here from when they first show up overseas. And who knows about Paralon though, considering it showed up in Canada almost completely by surprise

We have some good news for those longing for some new Robots in Disguise Warrior toys. The latest wave was found in Canada and features Windblade, Scorponok and Power Surge Optimus Prime, along with a few other previously released toys. These were specifically found at Walmart in Montreal and are priced at $19.99 CAD. Both Wave 7 and 8 of the warrior class feature these three new toys along with rereleases of older toys with the new Weaponizer imprint (and pictures of both those waves are provided below). So be prepared to see these toys for a while once they finally arrive as well as many older toys. The next new toys arrive in Wave 9 and will feature Ratchet, Bisk and Scatterspike.

Canada already got the Scorponok and Power Surge Optimus Warrior mold through the Clash of the Transformers line at Toysrus (which also has yet to appear in the US).

I just got the 3 new ones in the UK where they have also started to show up at retail.

Power Surge Optimus has the most obtuse instructions I can recall seeing outside a 3rd party toy instructions.

They do bother to show the axe on the leg - but they are pretty vague about his shoulder cannons and don't even mention that his cannons merge with a sword (no idea why they do that).
-----

I bet a lot of kids will be frustrated by Scorpy's claws too.

It's a small shame that Scorpy's tail can't bend down enough to support his legs as he is a bit spindly. he's nice - but expect to crack out the floor polish on the knees to get him stable enough to pose.

---

Windblade is OK - not great similarly to scorpy she has weak hinges in her legs that cause some slight issues. I like very much that her scabbard is also a rifle that is rather dead cool.

Her arms a scary tight - I don't much like her colours she's a bit to red and not enough black / gray / blue to balance her out a bit more.

Not terrible and certainly better than some fems but she didn't excite me much.

I think the TRU Optimus is a nicer colour though so if you only want one copy I'd suggest that one over the normal one.

Care to explain or show a picture? I dont really know what that means or how that works.

Simply put he has a hook on his leg each side that fits under the blade of the axe while the haft fit along the cut out on the back 3rd of his leg I usually have it handle down.

It's part of the remould on his legs so it's not a feature of the original mould.

It can go either side - he also has 3 holes on his back so if you want you can use the middle hole for sword storage instead of the edge ones if say he's holding one sword combined with the shoulder cannons as they do (for no obvious reason).

I'll try to photograph him when it's daylight.

The only difference is the thin collar and the fake lights on the chest. I really dot think its worth the money to double dip. I say keep him for the lost light shelf and put the Prime ratchet as the main ratchet on the alligned shelf.

Speaking of Ratchet I just got legion Ratchet in a a Tesco. looks like they suffer from the same common problem as the Strongarm legion did which is mis-matched paint where one part of the body looks under sprayed this time it was the front of the legs - something to look for if you plan to buy one.

To be honest though the Prime Ratchet Legion is a superior toy.

I also got a small Blue Optimus - shame the little Decepticon digger/crane thing wasn't in evidence at all - I hope they haven't left him out of the UK line as the rest of the stock was all reissues.

As you all know, the great void of Robots in Disguise Bisk in our collections is soon to be filled by no less than 4 Bisk toys with him in the following classes: Legion, One Step, Warrior and 3 Step. Some are out or on their way, such as the three step, and we have new stock images of that toy, courtesy of Smyths' website. He is currently listed for £22.99 but he is not available yet. Enjoy the images below!

Another piece of Transformers: Robots in Disguise news today comes from the Australian OTCA boards, and users PaulBot and philby, who have spotted an apparently Toys'R'Us exclusive set of Bumblebee and Steelclaw under the Clash of the Transformers monicker. The set is called Decepticon Island Showdown, after the final episodes of the latest season of the animated show, and includes two stasis pods as seen at San Diego Comic Con!

If they'd made Steel Jaw and Bee in Clear plastic I'd have been alot more interested - as they are seemingly repacks - that is a shame.

I'd rather like an actually Blue Bumblebee for example.
maybe Steejaw would have worked in brown ?
