Seems like all these clips just end up being the very beginning of each episode.

Yup, that seems to be the pattern, they also seem to have nothing to do with the synopsis provided :HEADHURTS:

Oh no, not another 'Bee Team episode. I've been trying to review these episodes for my website, but this team lack the interesting characters. Give me Windblade, Drift, and Optimus please.

Uh, the Bee Team episodes are the best ones in this season. The Stealth Team episodes are BORING as all get out. And this episode is hilarious, too.

I'll say no more of it to avoid spoilers.

I've really not been enjoying the Stealth Team episodes to be quite honest. Slipstream and Jetstorm are probably my favourite autobots in the series along with Strongarm, but aside from that? Drift is still really obnoxious, Optimus is being an incompetent ass if he's not being as boring as he was in Prime, Sideswipe is... fine, and I kind of lost all respect for Windblade when she had to be rescued from a situation she could easily have flew out of that she got herself into because she was brandishing her sword at a squirrel. I really hate that episode.

Spoilers for both 12 and 13.
Decepticon Island was a pretty great finale, and definitely much much much more satisfying than Season 1's finale. You get some pretty nice action and the story ties up pretty neatly - though I'm surprised at the break of the Status Quo with having Steeljaw and... EVERY other decepticon in stasis and apparently going back to Cybertron. Talking of Status Quo, it's really sad to see Ratchet go since we just got him - and before we got a chance to learn pretty much anything about Undertow. Would've been nice if Glowstrike and Saberhorn were able to escape and be the new main villains, and have Ratchet along for the ride to get development episodes for him and Undertow, maybe Toolbox as well... plus we're back to the original team + Drift and the mini-cons. OH WEEEEEEEEELL. I'm sure Season 3 or the second half of Season 2 or whatever'll be nice anyway, maybe we can finally get closure on Shockwave or Predaking or whatever. And hey, two new decepticon hunters - one each for Grimlock and Drift. Nifty. Also, the whole thing Ratchet said about being forced off planet is... interesting, as it seems to mirror Optimus being forced off in IDW's Death of Optimus Prime. Are we literally going to go down the same route of IDW? Is this what happened to Starscream in the end??? Would be fun to see a new spin-off with Optimus, Ratchet, Undertow, Toolbox and Windblade tackling this in a similar manner to Beast Machines gotta admit. And hey... if this is true, I wanna see what happened to the other 5 members of Team Prime. And Knock Out.

My turn for spoilers:

So I very much liked how the ending was portrayed. Steeljaw did prove to be a very worthy adversary, and he was frighteningly amazing with his role in the finale. I wish for more Ratchet and Undertone as I really liked those characters.

Also: Ratchet's captured prisoner goes unnamed or even unseen......

As for where we go from here. Well, it could be that the rest of the team heading back home will be encountering and looking into cybertron, and maybe we will see more of team prime there. Optimus may find something suspicious and somehow the new council may be old decepticons or something. And ther rest of team will be establishing a more permanent base, and maybe face other cons that have not been captured. I doubt that was truly all of them on that ship.

I'm also looking forward to seeing if Drift and Grimlock do get decepticon hunters. Drifts would turn into his great sword from IDW and Grimlock his flame sword (I wish). Also be interesting to see if the minicons that the toyline will soon be focusing on will be added into future episodes. I have confidence that this show will be lasting for a while longer yet

those two eps were great ;)^

loved the fights on the ship, loved the different coloured vehicons(i wonder if we'll get toys of those :-? ) loved seeing Ratchet again(voiced once again by Combs) it looks like most of the characters will be getting decepticon hunter armour....well...so far toywise....Optimus, Sideswipe, Bee & Grimlock have!, btw is this the final episode ever? coz it didn't end as if there was going to be another season.....no cliffhanger! since we've had Prime characters turning up....Soundwave, Ratchet & Vehicons....i wonder if Unicron may return in a future episode?(if there are to be any more seasons)

All Cons are finally imprisoned on the Island? Very well. But from the second part of the finale, I can see that Springload and Kickback are not on the island. Does this liekly mean that they are still at large and will likely appear in the RID movie, and quite possibly in Season 3? :CON:

Well, the finale was kind of lackluster IMHO. Not bad, but just...I don't know, just something about it seemed off. I thought it was a really stupid point to have a Minicon give away the Autobots, plus, out of all the rescuers, he says "Toolbox?! Is that you?" Yeah, go right ahead and discount the fact that Optimus is rescuing you...

Other than the return of Rachet (which was cool for us fans of TF Prime, but was pointless to the story, nothing specifically required Ratchet to be there)I thought the finale was pretty lackluster. I'd be pretty disappointed if this were the end of everything, hopefully soon we'll have news about what's next for RiD15. A lot of build up for almost no payoff.

For all the fuss people made about Glowstrike being a female Decepticon leader, she did absolutely nothing in this finale, nay, this whole season, NAY, the entire series! And got taken out of her seat of power by Steeljaw rather quickly.

On the other hand, at least she and Saberhorn were usurped by the one Decepticon the writers have put the most effort into, as Steeljaw is a great character. He's like if Starscream was actually competent. I wonder if Takara will give us a retooled Steeljaw Supreme Mode toy like they did for Bumblebee.

Not at the fnale yet, still early on. I just wantedto commetn at the awesome all star cast of writers they got. The writing isnt the best, i know, but holy smokes am I the only one who does a doulbe take at some of these credits when they come up. I mean one of the episode was written by Len Wein. :michaelbay: :michaelbay: LEN FREAKEN WEIN!!!!!! :michaelbay: :michaelbay:

Dont know if everyone knows, but that guy is one of comics' bigest creators ever. Not Stan Lee level of course but not far off. He created Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Storm Colossus and Swamp Thing. I had no clue he was writing Transformers. There's also Adam Beechen (main writer) and Mairghread Scott, but I am still not over Len Wein contributing.

Unfortunately writers can only work with the material given. Still yeah it is pretty cool to see. Yes I've seen Len Wein's name pop up on several animated series from time to time. I know this is not his first Transformers episode. He wrote an episode of Beast Wars...possibly another series as well, cannot recall of the top of my head.

Yeah, they seem to be incorporating them more and more in addition to the original 4 main guys from season 1. It was the reason that I bought that minicon 4-pack so I could have 3 show minicons and a weapons version of another show minicon :MAXIMAL:

And while its pretty well known to us that they are doing it to sell the Minicons (it's working) They really don't feel like "Here's a Character, buy his toy!". And I genuinely look forward to seeing which Minis got used in each Ep.

All the episodes are released on daily motion if you want to see em. They pretty much use all minicons from wave 3 and on. What I find really cool about the look of the minicons is how the animators really go to town on the designs only hinted in the toys. Like with Mincon Anvil.

This is his toy:

And from that they flesh out this really cool gargoyle design:

On the other hand, that does leave the toys disappointing. Jetstorm and Slipstream are my favourite Autobots so I was really up forgetting their toys... aaaand then it turns out they're kinda crap.

After I saw the season 2 finale, I do realized that Kickback is the only Decepticon that to date has never been caught or even killed. Why? Because, not only he's the fastest Con of all times, he's also very deceptive and crazy. I'm tell you, right now: He's stinking crazy! Knows what will happen next in Season 3 airing this fall. :CON:

*Sigh* You're seeing a pattern where there is non. Kickback is just a smarmy little coward, he was probably still on the ship when they stasis bombed it. I mean... it's not too farfetched an idea. There's no reason to think every single Decepticon was on the ship at the time; others could have been out on missions gathering supplies or whatnot. Kickback and Springload not being shown in the episodes at all definitely raises some question marks. I mean yeah, it could just have easily been the writers not bothering to put them in and next season we'll find out they were there, but even so. It's a point worth entertaining imo.

Agreed 100% that was the highlight for myself also. I think we can stop with all the Soundwave spoilers now since the episode finally aired in the United States. While Ratchetsappearance in Decepticon Island part 1 & 2 was a welcome sight, the lackluster events of the episodes themselves was what made the Soundwave episode, while not really forwarding the overall plot of the series, still a highlight.

You seemed to believe as if Kickback is a weakling coward. That was Clampdown, not Kickback. Sure, he might not be the fastest. But he is much faster than any other characters combined, since that he is a F1 racer and not a sports car. You think that Bumblebee is able to go after him that easily? Also, Grimlock will never be a double agent. Never will. If anyone is, it has to be a new character. Perhaps we might know more about where Kickback and Springload is and all that double agent thing when Season 3 hits this fall. :CON:

Wasnt he a double agent for the autobots at the end of season 2. Meanign that he pretended to be a decepticon to inflitrate them but was really an autobot in disguise? Isnt that what a double agent it?

I was just joking around earlier but now I am a bit confused. Also Kickback is as mch a coward, simply a less interesting one than Clampdown.

I was just joking around earlier but now I am a bit confused. Also Kickback is as mch a coward, simply a less interesting one than Clampdown.

Yes he was. He was disguised as a con but was always a bot, and we knew that. only the cons didn't

And yes, Kickback is a coward. Just unlike Clampdown as Clampdown had a crime boss for a main enemy in the con ranks. :MAXIMAL:

As the above folks stated, they are both cowards. There can be more than one sniveling sycophant in the ranks, believe it or not, look at Washington D.C.

psj333 wrote: Sure, he might not be the fastest. But he is much faster than any other characters combined, since that he is a F1 racer and not a sports car.

Actually, Formula-1s are somewhat on par with Bugattis

F1s have more power, but the Bugatti has better control IMHO.

psj333 wrote: Also, Grimlock will never be a double agent. Never will.

Oh really?! As the above stated, HE WAS BEING SOMEWHAT CUNNING (FOR A DINOBOT) AND A DOUBLE AGENT.

Thanks for linking that. It is the one statement in all of Botcon (aside form any news about the CW series) that I would have cared about. But as Sabreblade was nice enough to point out, since Hasbro studios didn't attend, all we have to go off of is the word of the toy producers.

The toy producers don't know all the details of the animated series (and vice versa), the statement "we're calling it season 3" speaks volumes. Jeffrey Combs once referred to what we now know as "Predacons Rising" to be "season 4" of TF Prime.

The only thing I took away from that short answer is that there will be "more episodes in the fall", what they are ultimately categorized as is still unknown. As some have stated, I hope SDCC sheds some more light on what is to come.

Isn't a double agent where where one side thinks their agent is working for them undercover but really is one of the enemy?

I do as well. I sincerely hope this is not the end of the story. There's still so much to do.
