All that remains to be seen is if the writing is good. That's what matters most (TFA is proof of that). Humans still look kinda lame though.
I thought TFA was badly written. It is not like the quality writing you get from the Marvel Production cartoons (X-Men, G.I. JOe, or Transformers).

One thing they definitely need to get back into these shows though, is showcasing awesome ways the bots transform while doing other things like firing, or jumping or somthing, as well as bringing back the G1 robotic sound distortion in all the bots' voices.

did you just say that the writing in the original Gijoe and Transformers was superior to TFA?
that is just silly, as much as I love the original 80s cartoons, the writing was a complete mixed bag, sometimes good, often times awful.
TFA and Beastwars are much better, I can understand your xmen example, that was a very well written show, but the original Gijoe series was unwatchable at times.

Wait, you think the original G1 series had good writing?

Or is the opening episode broken down into 5 parts?

I don't really like all those goofy-ass faces (especially Prime's), but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
...and they're using the G1 "transforming sound"! That's a huge plus in my book.

I kinda agree there. The transforming sound is pretty neat. But something about the actual animation of the transformation looks a little weird. Maybe that's just me though...

It's not just you. The transforming seems bland and a little too quick...

If they don't, I'll jump through the damn screen and blow their heads off myself!
HAHahaha... dude, do it. They always gota stick kids in it, so frustrating. What about a soldier who actually has connections to special military weapons, opening the Transformers to different technology.
Man that Ironman theme song couldn't sound any gayer.

That's exactly what I wanted for a TF cartoon. Soldiers who had connections to the military and the government. Why in the name of ass, of all people would giant transforming robots, whose whole history is war itself, choose to hang out with a bunch of kids? I can understand them with Sari in TFA because she wasn't fully human, but every other kid can just suck my ass.

i'd guess YTV since they've aired all the TF series since Beast Wars but yeah, be nice to know for sure. but boy oh boy is it nice to hear Cullen on a cartoon TF show again. sure the live action movies sorta killed the uber excitement since we're used to hearing him do the role again but yeah....tres cool.

So, what you are saying here... is that you want children to perform analingus on you?

comicstar100 wrote:So Transformers Prime is only a 5 part mini series?
no, it premieres with a 5 part mini-series eventually following with the full on series. no different than the 3 part mini-series that kick started GI or the 5 part one for the original G.I. Joe.

Still not liking Starscream's design, even now that we've seen it in motion.
Also, in the other video, the Decepticon troopers already look completely non-threatening & ineffectual, after Arcee runs at them for thirty seconds while they fire ineffectually and then she no doubt proceeds to kick their arse.
Still, hopefully the writing will be good like Animated or Beast Wars. It seems like they're spending some cash in it to get some good talent, so hopefully they hired some good writers too.

I really hope this crap isn't rendered to it's fullest. They still have about a month, maybe they can get it all done by then, because the CG looks like turd. I'm sorry, but it does. The sky is the same color in every clip, the backgrounds have no tecture at all, the kids look annoying as all hell, I mean, please for once, can we not have kids in Transformers? Whats the point? Whats the freaking problem with having adults as the main humans? Im 15 and I'm sick of kids getting the spotlight in TF shows! Would it kill your busines to just have one show with the military? Just one series! Fix it, Hasbro! GI joe ain't got no damn kids! Why does Transformers need kids? "Oh, we're trying to appeal to the children" Oh, so thats why you allow a movie with robot balls and masterbation jokes to promote your toyline? I see how it is. Its ok as long as it's not directly made by you.
Really, I wish someone would listen to what we are saying, write this down! Store it somewhere where it won't be destroyed. PLEASE MAKE A TRANSFORMERS SHOW WITH NO CHILDREN CHARACTERS.
Sari in Animated was Ok. I applaud them for that, they sort of had the military at times, they had a police officer as one of the main humans, that is also good, but please stop making these dumbass child characters that appeal to different emotions in children. Please. Kids don't care about emotion, or connections or "more human drama than effar" all they want is for stuff to simply blow up. So stop sending us these dumbass kids all the got damn time!
That was my rant. I am sorry if I offended you, Hasbro. But please...make the shit work! Fix it, Hasbro! FIX IT!

Headmasters, Masterforce and Victory all avoid rehashing Optimus (Convoy) and Megatron (though Masterforce does use the Powermaster Prime body for Ginrai, he is very much NOT Optimus). They came out before Beast Wars. Also, IMO, most of the Japanese series do a decent job of making the various Convoys not feel like a rehashed exactly the same as before Optimus Prime clone, but you may have different opinions.

"Transformers" isn't right "Transformers" without Optimus and Megatron. It's like an Ice-tea on a cold winter day.

Star Saber, Deathsaurus, Overlord, Ginrai and Dai Atlas would have words with thee
