The
Discovery-Hasbro joint venture network known as
The Hub has now officially hit the airwaves, but Transformers fans are still eagerly awaiting the actual debut of the new TF cartoon known as
Transformers: Prime. Until now, the exact premiere date had been unknown, but thanks to a tip from
hisstank.com, we may now finally have an answer. It appears the first episode may in fact air on Friday, November 26th (which also happens to be Black Friday this year.)
On
tvtango.com, there is a
listing on November 26th for both Transformers: Prime and
G.I. Joe: Renegades. Prime will debut with
"Darkness Rising: Part 1 of 2" at 4 pm followed by Renegades and
"The Descent: Part 1 of 2" at 4:30 pm.

As exciting as the idea of another TF series is, there is no way I'm going to pay extra on an already outrageous satellite bill for an additional station simply because of one show (well two, if you count GI Joe as a secondary objective). I'm sure TFP will appear on YouTube fairly quickly and Hulu shortly after, so I'll catch it then.
Hopefully there will be DVDs offered at some point.

Gives me time to change my internet plan as the only way I can see these is via d/l as when the show arrives on Australian TV the chances of me watching is slim to nil with my bloody mum and her otakuness towards UK house shows and soaps.
