hmm you know one thing i noticed when megatron told Orion pax that the autobots were the enemies and told him to leave and hell take care of the enemy? then Orion Pax looked back at bumblebee like as if he knew him somehow...

so when does season two start anyway? do we have to wait months or is it really coming in november like i heard over the summer?

Season 2 is scheduled to start November 28.

Orion ain't stupid, so he better pick up on the true nature of the Cons soon enough.

I have to say this series has great writing, and the action scenes are pretty awesome. I watch this every week with my son and we didn't want the show to end this Saturday. Hopefully the end of November we will get a new season.

It's been confirmed that season 2 will air on November 28th.

Yeah, that's the first thing I thought, too. That's probably my most-anticipated Transformers Prime toy to date.

Since Optimus personally gave him the Key to Vector Sigma, I'd say Jack might take command. Oh. Okay. Thanks for explaining that for me. I am new to Transformers and am wanting to watch all the series, but haven't got the time to yet.

You're right there, this series has been pretty heavy with the casualties, human and Cybertronian. But what I was specifically refering to was a situation where OP killed an inocent, not by accident either and one who the other characters and the audience had a substantial emotional investment in.

I have serious doubts that they would have Orion Pax/Optimus kill any Autobot or human. They could probabaly get awau with something like that in the movies or comic, but not a Tv series. I agree with Fox Bear that that would be to dark.

Yes i understand its the mind of Orion Pax and not Optimus, but maybe working under Megatron for a certain amount of time shifts Optiums ways a bit?

Someone mentioned before that Orion looked at Bee as if he knew him. That may be because he might have some memory-scraps from his Prime-age. That he knows he's seen him, but doesn't know where.

As for the Orion Pax figure. It'll probably be just a repaint of optimus with no mouthplate and a Decepticon symbol.

The S2 Character Death? Well, why not Fowler? I know and I like the guy, but what if a 'Con would kill Fowler and seeing it Orion would remember who he was? Or maybe Silas, with a short run with his P:Chimera and would then be destroyed along the thing?
BTW, is it really supposed to be an Autobot? Could the walking body be a 'Con?

A question to you, now: What do you think, will Orion have memory-flashes of Optimus Prime during the season? That he starts seeing memories of things he did, experienced, said and saw as Optimus?

By the way, is it certain that Grimlock will be joining the cast or does everyone think it's him due to him appearing in Fall of Cybertron?

I just assume he'll show up since all word from the creators on the Dinobots showing up in Prime has said that they are "on the radar".

I've been thinking the same thing. Autobots have suffered enough in season 2, so to "balance" things it would make sense that it would be 'Cons turn now. But, they said "to except higher body count" (or something along that line), so I guess we'll see losses on both sides.

I think that he possibly could have small flashbacks, maybe about right after he became Prime? Or Megatron is going to brainwash him well so he doesn't remember anything from his past life as a Prime. I'm interested to see if Orion is willing to fight against Autobots, if that will ever happen.

I see both sides having losses, but let's just hope that the Autobot's have less. As far as flashbacks, I hope he would have flash backs. If he doesn't then how will he ever remember who is who and re-join the Autobots?

That would be cool, if done right... But it would most likely come off as a Deus ex Machina if not built up properly.

So let's just say that Jack does use the key on Nemesis. How does that work and what will it do?

I just thought of something. What if we're looking at this all wrong? What if the Key does have some purpose, but is not the thing that restores Optimus' memories? The creators could have put it in there as a Red Herring for us to all speculate how it would bring Optimus back, when it instead is for some other purpose just to throw us off.

I'd say everything is possible. Maybe it will bring Optimus' memories back, maybe it will help Autobots back to Cybertron. Who knows? IMO, I don't think it will bring Optimus' memories back. Wouldn't that be kind of obvious? I mean, after what we have seen in season 1, there's been lots of stuff that no one excepted to happen. Now everyone excepts the Key to bring back Optimus' memories. The writers have this complicated way to do things in Prime, so for some reason, I'm not convinced that it will be the answer.

In all the continuties the key to vector sigma was only that, a key to access another device. Never a repository of knowldge in of itself. Too much fuss was made over it for it not to be some major part of season 2. Perhaps it will play the role of proof. A scene where Jack confronts Orion about his aligence, and holds up the key "Look you entrusted me with this! Trust me now." type of thing.

Love this show. Ended unexpectedly, but was great. Can't wait to see Optimus aka Pax as a Con, this'll be interesting.

Not sure the deaths in "Convoy" (or the potential ones in "Operation: Breakdown" or "Crisscross") were "unintentional." MECH has proven that they are pretty nasty characters, and somehow, despite Optimus' declaration that he "doesn't condone human casualties," I think even he wouldn't lose many tears over taking out a few of their number.

Maybe the season 2 death is Airachnid killed by a loyal 'Con(or Meg himself) because of what happened during Meg's absence.

Airachnid is one of the best characters in this show! (Along with Starscream and Arcee). Her debut episode was the turning point in this show's greatness. She practically saved the show from falling into utter dullness and unoriginality.

I agree, but at the same time, she got to be annoying. It is nice to have a femme Decepticon show up.

How is she annoying? Her voice actress has made a fantastic performance of her character, and the writers have been using a great deal of subtlety to her character as of recently.

I think what was so annoying was her voice at first and then it got where I didn't mind it so much.

I'd argue moreso that MECH and Airachnid both made things more interesting up to Partners than just Airachnid. (I'd argue screamer as well). Silas was an interesting character I wish had shown up in the finale with a bunch of MECH troops to fight off the Unicron golems. After that they got into interesting things with Bulk and Ratchet before heading into one shall fall/ one shall rise 1-3. I wouldn't be totally shocked if airachnid/arcee takes a backseat in season 2, just judging by what they've said so far. The latter's kind of completed her major development cycle, and judging by how this season will be probably moving towards focusing on Orion and other characters (Bee, Dreadwing, Starscream) it would make sense.
