Omega Key = WFC Omega Supreme.
In Exodus, it was replaced with the Code Keys of Power and Justice.
Now, I am really, REALLY intrigued by what this episode may entail.

Sounds like that.
That, and/or they are trying to imply that there is another GADEP, besides Omega Supreme, and it resides on Earth.

GADEP? Anyway. Omega Sentinel perhaps?

"Prime cartoon:
According to legend, at the beginning of time, Unicron and Primus battled each other for eons, with neither side remaining victorious for long. Till, that is, Primus created the Thirteen. One of them, Prima, used the Star Saber. One Shall Rise, Part 1"
So if the Prime series includes the 13 Primes than that should fit the scenario of:
"Due to unknown circumstances, long before recorded time began, the sword was shattered. So as to keep it from falling into the wrong hands, Nexus Prime decided to use his very body to conceal it. Vector Prime and Alpha Trion used the quantum edge of the blade (still functioning despite the sword's sad state) to carve Nexus Prime into five pieces. These pieces became their own individuals and, each with hidden knowledge of the location of a piece of the sword, were scattered across the cosmos."
^^Also from the same article. So Primus defeated Unicron on Earth with the Star Saber and then it was shattered/destroyed and the pieces are on earth as relics and Megs/Prime find them?
So I say Pryme Striker is right.

I soooo hate gimmicks, these MechTech-style weapons and/or Arms Microns are bad enough…
Hey, Mech is one of the bad guys in TF Prime. MechTech weapons…? Hmmmm.

Yup. That is what a GADEP* is.
So it sounds like that is the case.

I smell a quote from Transmetal 2 Megatron in Beast Wars in the last few episodes...He was reading the covenant of primus.

No worries. I couldn't get the url tag to work properly either for some reason. See you managed to fix it though, I'll have to check the code to see what was wonky in my (failed) manual attempt.

EDIT: dur. i used " around the url like it was the real internet or something…

The Omega Keys and the influential secrets they contain catch the interest of the Autobots; the powerful capabilities of the Primes are noticed by Megatron, who takes it upon himself to do whatever it takes to extract them for his own use.

So, apparently, there's more than one Omega Key. What?
Omega Supreme is confused.

Well... It is simple.
Prior to the war, there were a number of Sentinels on Cybertron, and their purpose went from the beginning of their existence to the point that there was only one.
Simple Generation 101.
In all other cases, the Omega Supreme could have launched itself into space and made it to Earth before Prime and the rest.

Thing is, since Omega Supreme himself was the Omega Key, with Megatron going after these new Omega Keys, it'd look pretty silly seeing Megatron trying to hide a bunch of giant ship-sized bots from Autobots' view when there'd be little place for Megs to hide them.KUMA-NIN Maximus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:I'm trying to think of a way to make this work, like involving other Omega Sentinels, but all ideas I can think of just make my head hurt.

Heh... If that is the case, then I am watching the wrong series.
However, on a serious note, I am now wondering what the secrets are... And if they have any ties to the key in ANIMATED, in terms of usage and all that jazz. Mostly because they are using elements from other series and also said that they allow leniency when it comes to adding elements that may have already been explained in the games.

I here ya. All we got to go on now is the War for Cybertron Omega Key, which was Omega Supreme himself. If they go that route with these new Omega Keys, then this will be one mother of an episode to watch.KUMA-NIN Maximus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Thing is, since Omega Supreme himself was the Omega Key, with Megatron going after these new Omega Keys, it'd look pretty silly seeing Megatron trying to hide a bunch of giant ship-sized bots from Autobots' view when there'd be little place for Megs to hide them.

There's a concept. There are new Omega Keys that have nothing to do with the original Omega Key (that was Omega Supreme).
Now I'm starting to dump that concept 10 seconds after I made it.

Maybe since Omega Supreme was pretty much compromised as a key they decided to make new ones.

You were Bay'ing attention to that movie? Sorry. Shocked. But yeah... I think he'd rather think of the rules tied to becoming a Prime than see how he turned out in those movies.
