Thanks to the keen eyes of our Energon Pub members we have a little extra info from these images. The Cyberverse Commander Optimus Prime appears to have an open face place. If you recall back when the "Robots in Disguise" first started to appear in the UK a few of these open face plate variants found their way to retail. There is also a figure listed as Shadow Strike Bumblebee just over Deadend and is only partially visible. At first glance the figure would appear to be Deluxe wave three's Hot Shot, but the face deco doesn't quite match up.

I hope that's the case and it's not some idiotic black repaint, coming to clog the shelves some more...
RhA wrote:Ladies and gentlemen... We've got Magnus.
F YEAH. I can deal with that right now! He better get a Voyager!
Oh yeah, Airachnid. The weapons are dumb, but she looks surprisingly good otherwise. I hope they can figure out some sort of spider mode for her...
Oh and Dead End looks kind of cool, but I'm gonna pass, I don't need an evil Wheeljack repaint.

Kind of disappointed with Airachnid though

That is something I was wondering, because if you look, there is a wheel above where it says "Shadow Strike Bumblebee". If black I buy. [Insert my motto here]

These are Japanese names (as Hot Shot is clearly labeled Shadow Strike Bumblebee) so you never know, if he come out in the US he may be Makeshift. I'd hope for better colors though, cause that thing is ugly.
Airachnid looks solid enough. They didn't do so great on the propeller legs though. Wish there were 4 propellers not 3, or that one propeller would have split into 2 smaller legs, while 2 propellers would have opened up into 2 long legs.
Ultra Magnus is purely awesome. I hope they make a voyager version though. Love the visual homage to Animated Ultra Magnus.

Kinda dissapointed that Airachnid can't have a spider mode (from the look of it), but it's rather show-accurate. Another Buy On Sight.

Chinese, sweetie. These are Hasbro figures for the Asian market outside of Japan. Shadow Strike Bumblebee has me curious though... Hang on a sec.

Oh, my bad. Didn't notice. Still, could just be his name regionally.

OK, the flames match, but I'm still not convinced, as I've spotted another set of wheels just above the name, indicating a new figure.

That's a daring admission, lol. It'll be awesome to have this Magnus as a voyager, but I don't think I could replace City Commander with him. An original mold, eh? Should we be expecting him to appear in the animation?
Airachnid doesn't look too bad either. I can understand if she won't have the full eight-legged spider mode as each leg would probably be quite flimsy.
I'll pass on Deadend.

Excited to see Magnus as well, here's hoping for a larger version.
Airachnid is a must.

I'd need to see a full-sized Magnus out of TF: Prime, but I like the modern take of the cyberverse fig, perhaps enough to replace City Commander, perhaps not...
Time will tell.

I'm kinda excited about Magnus but if they have him on the show he better not be a pretentious prick like he was in TFA. It's bad enough that they gave him the hammer and paint scheme but they better not give him the attitude or I won't buy the toy just on general principle.
As for Dead End... Don't like the paint job and think it's just so damn lazy to be doing repaints this early in the game.

but the figure i was most excited for out of these, airachnid, is actually coming off kind of lackluster to me. the vehicle mode looks great, the robot mode is ok, but there doesnt appear to be a way to turn her into her spider mode. i had such high expectations for this figure; i only hope that theres something more to this girl that we havent seen yet. i dont know, she may turn out like rid cliff and arcee and i end up liking them even though theyre not the best

Not sure what's with the pumpkin colors on Deadend.
UM's pretty nifty. Like Ironhide, he looks to be a blend of many other-continuity counterparts.
Once again, Cyberverse steals the show.
Va'al wrote:So Hot Shot is called Shadow Strike Bumblebee in Japan?
I don't think so. First off, it makes no sense. Second off, line up Deadend and Airracchnid's pics and you get:
I think it's safe to assume the other tire/bumper is Bumblebee's and the name plate Hot Shot's.

These look good. I hope Ultra Magnus gets a larger figure. Cyberverse aren't something I buy.
Posted by CBratetron on March 31st, 2012 @ 7:21pm CDT
Airracchnid (spelling from the pics) is nice but it wouldn't have killed them to have a 4th rotor blade

Mystery solved. Everyone should be happy because we're getting another Bumblebee repaint!

They were probably thinking that some people love the line. Also realizing that the Legends\Cyberverse seems to sell quite well.
That Ultra Magnus looks great. I am sure there will be one in a larger scale soon enough.

I think Megatron Wolf means that most fembots that have been released, except Blackarachnia, have been bikes.

I totally agree with DISCHARGE. My Dark of the Moon collection consists of 4 Commander Class toys (Optimus, Sentinel, Megatron and Ironhide), that is all I have. Cyberverse toys are really cool for such a small toy. Ultra Magnus looks like he will be a fun little addition to my Prime collection and I will get him even if a Voyager version shows up.

Pfft xD Nice observation.
Of course that's still more than someone else has! Breakdown NOOO! I realize that it was only a matter of time for him though. I'm still miffed over killing off Seaspray right off the bat, why kill off characters everybody likes? D: ...Everybody likes Seaspray. It's a fact.

Well, if you are trying to establish a new villian, might as well kill off a character that people like, but you never have any intention of ever using on the show. Everyone may like him...but hes kinda lame nonetheless.
With the Airachnid toy missing a leg, now wondering if Breakdown will come as a pile of disassembled parts in a box :p
