looking good. ;)^

I doublechecked with them after that point, and they did show the order as processed and they resent the confirmation email, so it looks like I have a Throne on the way. All Prime Masters acquired! And doubles from the Amazon exclusives means I am just short one more Prime Master to put in the Scepter. Seems kinda poopy they didn't make one more extra just for it to be complete while leaving the Wheel of Fortune Primes with one of every Prime Master.

There are enough unique Prime Master releases to fill all of the available slots, actually. The wheel only has 12 slots, not 13. The scepter has 4 slots. That's 16 slots total. The wheel can house the "normal" versions of all 12 Primes. The scepter can hold the "13th Prime" as well as the Special Edition clear plastic versions of Megatronus (from Blast Off), Solus Prime (from Repugnus), and Prima Prime (from Punch/Counterpunch).

I wouldn't mind having the special Prime Master figures that come with the Throne exclusive - but not enough to buy the figure itself. Pass.

Isn't there a slot to plug the 13th prime master and the center of the wheel? If not it's kind of fitting that the scepter will have the two primes that were lovers and the first and the last Prime.

I know I said no more HTS, but I figured I'd try again. I got in around 11am and was able to get one. I still have NOT gotten a confirmation email, although I did call and spoke to a Tiffany. She said an email was sent and checked the order number and said that the order was processed and sent to the warehouse. Who knows if I'll get the confirmation email before it ships, lol.. I did use a credit card this time instead of PayPal, which she says does make a difference, as PayPal takes you away from and then back to the site. I used PayPal last time and didn't get one. If you go to TRACK ORDER on the bottom of HTS and input your order number it should show the item. Last time it showed nothing but it did this time. YAY... -_- I'll keep my TT preorder on BBTS until I have it in hand though.

Nope! The "Wheel of Primes" is attached to the back of the throne. The majority of it is, in fact, obscured by the throne. You can only see the top four or five Prime Masters at any one time, meaning you need to rotate the wheel around like a roulette wheel to see the rest. A slot in the center of the wheel would be pointless, since it would always be hidden by the back of the throne. "The 13th Prime" comes attached to the Scepter of Primes in the box, so that's where Hasbro intends you to put it.

FYI: The Throne of the Primes is now marked as "Sold Out" on Hasbro Toy Shop! Good luck to everyone who gave it a second go at getting this figure!

Works for me! Like I said, it is kind of poetic that it has Megatronus and Solus (the two Lovers) and Prima and 13 (the first and the last Primes). I still would like a crystal version of the 13th Prime, but it isn't the end of the world. I likely won't store any of the Prime Masters in the Wheel very often anyway.

Rodimus Unicronus all the way. He is the better mold overall of the 2, and his colors are much more appealing and his head sculpt rocks so hard

Well it took a while, but I finally got the confirmation email for the Throne of the Primes set. Which means that hopefully I'll be getting it soon. Especially since I really think they used a better color scheme for Primal in the Throne set than the retail version.

Also, it's nice to get those remaining Prime Masters.

Getting it earlier, sure.
Getting it cheaper, no.

Sure, 10$ cheaper on Amazon japan is not the biggest discount, but thats still the price of deluxe figure for me, so every bit counts.

Ha I had it in my cart in HTS but couldn't stomach the $85 charge. Decided to PO it from Amazon JP to save $10. May still cancel it as I have no real desire for the figure.

What he said. The PotP Prime mold is lame. Even with the better color scheme and extra stuff, Nemesis Prime is only barely passable. I don't get why people are so obsessed with the figure and owning it ASAP. I kinda get TotP because of the Prime Masters, but the figure itself makes no sense without some canon backing it up. Just my opinion of course.

Both molds have their ups and downs but in different ways. UniRod is a tighter package in alt mode and NemmyP is more fun in bot mode and really uses the mold better than the standard release.

I do like Unicronus's origin better and his colors are cool. Nemesis is spot on for the character and I just love the evil Pax. NemRod is no slouch and and is dead sexy with the red windows and purple hightlights.

For me the extra's really put Nemesis over the top (especially the sword parrot that is currently posed on his shoulder) and I really wanted a Nemesis Prime in that size.

The evolution gimmick is equally fun in both, but maybe a little better used and more integrated feeling in Unicronus. Also NemPax's alt mode is kinda ass, but the battle trailer will all the extra weapons make up for it.

You can really go wrong with either. Depends on what you're looking for. Is both a viable answer? :flipacoin:

For the time I've given up on Thrones. I got sucked into the excitement the first time he went up for sale, but my interest has since cooled off. I didn't even bother this time and I'm going give it some time and think about it. Amazon.jp's pricing has me interested and there is always the fallback BBTS option (which I canned my pre-order with). I'd really like to complete the trifecta of black redecos but Thrones isn't an evil repaint and doesn't fit in with the others and all I really want is the PMs anyway. :HEADHURTS:

Funny how this ends up becoming a similar pros and cons conversation we had at the very begining comparing Rodimus to Optimus Prime.

Same mold same shit I guess.

So the bottom line - which one is the better evil henchman to do you're dirty work and be your scapegoat?

EDIT: for me it's NemmyP

If it makes any difference, Rodimus Unicronus is also Unicron himself, in full inhabiting control of Rodimus as a vessel and avatar.

Speaking as someone who owns the toy, I'm really not that big of a fan of Rodimus Unicronus. The issues that I have with my copy have to do with balance and articulation. Even with the heel support, mine has a bad habit of falling backwards unless I have it standing as perfectly straight as possible. As for the articulation, I feel like Unicronus suffers from a lack of articulation in his shoulders due to how the evolution gimmick incorporates NemRod into Unicronus. Plus, I feel like the transformations for NemRod and Unicronus are just a pain in the ass (for me, anyways).

Since I'm still waiting on Primal and Nemesis Prime to arrive, I can't really offer solid testimonies on those two, but I feel like Primal is ultimately the best of the trio because his issues seem to be less severe than the issues with the Optimus and Rodimus molds.

That being said, they all seem like good Leader class toys. I just personally believe that Rodimus Prime/Unicronus is the weakest of the three molds.

I consider something like $10 overall to be a "convenience" fee when we're talking about an item that's above the $60 range or so. $10 means getting what you want now instead of 4 or 5 months from now. I could figure out a way to save myself an extra $10 from now until next year pretty easily. If you're not really interested in the figure, though, then no reasonable price is going to do it for you.

There might be...a chance that I'm slightly biased, but I have Nemesis Prime and have no intention of getting SG Roddy. I've already seen him in a store and not bought him, even. Part of it has to do with nostalgia, given the Armada shout-outs Nemesis' accessories give him and my first figures being from the original RiD and Armada. Part of it has to do with always liking the various incarnations of NP and just not having one yet. Part of it is because I don't have any other Shattered Glass or SG-based figures, so I have no real need for a disguised SG Rodimus. I also have a Unicron, so I don't need him for that, and while I have TR Hot Rod, I don't actually have or really want a Rodimus Prime, so a Nemesis version of a character I don't have/want isn't that appealing. Plus, Nemesis Prime is just plain fun. Both his bot modes look great, his murder convoy is big and threatening, his excess of weapons is a joy to fool around with, he poses great, his transformation takes some effort but doesn't achieve Bayformer levels of frustration, and he just looks overall threatening and menacing. His color scheme works way better than the smatterings of trailer grey on Optimus' limbs, and had this version not existed, I would not have bought this mold.

...but my name is a theoretical nonexistent Nemesis version of a different good faction leader already, so what do I know, I'm most likely biased.

...If Nemesis Prime is a black repaint of a red figure, then would a Nemesis Primal be a red repaint of a black figure? Imagine a giant red murder gorilla...

I feel like Nemmy's combined bot mode is an overall tighter, more congruent, less awkward package. NemPax has a wicked head sculpt.

Nah, you guys aren't thinking RED enough. ;)

Though, there is also a black repaint of the RobotMasters toy that does look kinda like what a Nemesis Prime version of Optimus Primal's season 1 body might look like:

And interestingly enough, if the Throne of the Primes set had had its smaller Optimus Primal figure given black limbs instead of white, and a black helmet instead of blue, it might have made for a half-decent match to this RobotMasters redeco.

Greetings All,

Currently PotP Voyager Inferno is available for the first time on HTS. Additionally 33 total items are currently in stock (Only Throne and Legends Slash show "out of stock"), with a 15% off Promo Code of AUG18 (that unfortunately seems to only work with wave one toys) this is an excellent opportunity to snag a great bulk of the PotP line

Just check online. If it says "2-5 in stock" now, and when you check tomorrow, it's the same number, don't bother going. If they get more it will switch. The numbers they show are:

1-4, 2-5, 4-7, 6-9, or 10+

So if you are showing 2-5 then it jumps to 4-7 or 6-9, give it a shot. Pretty much identical to the way I found the Terrorcons at Walmart using Brickseek. Also, that is how I got Brainstorm and the Clone 2-Pack from Walgreens if I recall correctly.

I haven't had any problems with WG, because unlike regular Hasbro toys that start showing up on the East Coast first, WG exclusives usually shows up on the West Coast First. Usually within a couple days of first sighting, I found Brainstorm and the Clones 2 pack in with several eat each store.

Eh, not Chromedome or Mindwipe though, at least not without buying a second Wolfwire and a Highbrow I don't want. Oh well, I can wait.

Finally caved and ordered Wreck-Gar online. Will take a few weeks to get here, so with my luck I'll see it in the store first. LOL.

Me neither. I got the last two with ease and a discount even on the clones. Once BS hit he was clogging shelves and even hit clearance on their website.

If the pattern continues, I doubt anyone will have an issue finding Wreck Gar in stores. Unless you live where there are no Walgreens. But there's always one across from CVS

I check once a week when I see a WG just for giggles.

Yeah, I'll take a few, you seem to have more than twice as many in your area than I have in my entire state (14 total). The north east is Rite Aid country, those are all over the place. I have one local Walgreens and they never got Brainstorm or Cyber Series Shockwave. Thankfully I was able to get a Brainstorm while on vacation.

Haha, like a bad case of WalgreensPox. We had more than I expected in the area.

I know little of American geography, but is there really a town near you scram called Slaughter?

My area has a bunch of Walgreens, but they don't seem to put much priority on restocking the toys. The one near my job has had the same 3-4 Transformers for months.

Scram? But yes, It's really called Slaughter and I'm sure the reason is probably exactly what you think. Never looked into it myself.

There's a Cut and Shoot TX, I shit you not. Just a bunch of cowboys on this side of the pond.

Unfortunately our ancestors really didn't think, or care, to keep the names the indigenous people gave to the land, so we have things like this:

 Those names! I grew up in a small town in Missouri that shared it's school district with the town of Peculiar.

Anywho, back on topic.

I have given up on hunting Wreck-Gar at my local Walgreens until a sighting comes through. Brainstorm and the Clones where very easy to come by here. Being in the center of the country, I'm not worried about missing him once a coastal sighting pops up.

Sorry Cary  I got mixed up

Don't worry, the UK has it's fair share of unfortunate place names ;)

As for Wreck-Gar, we'll post news of a sighting up as soon as we get it :)

Intercourse, PA for the win!

I lived 2 miles from Desire, PA! And some of the Pittsburgh street names are cringe inducing...

I too am not going to bother hunting Wreck Gar. My Walgreens here still only have TR stuff, they haven't migrated out of last March yet

Every Walmart around me just has one or two Rippersnappers on their pegs. I'm not sure if it's the remnants of Wave 2 or Wave 4, though. If it were Wave 4, it would be a little odd that only he'd be left and the other repeats would be snatched up so quickly.
