Cindersaur is either a girl or a very girly boy if I get him/her now. I kinda wish the dino mode was more like the old Firecon "Lump monster" style, but nothing a bit of Shapeways can't fix.
...Good grief I'm a Firecon GEEWUNer. Kill me.

Nah, he's a neat toy (I assume, I never did get Brawn) but I have zero attachment to him. Also in my demented headcanon/collection "backstory", Skullcruncher is the local s**tposting Aussie. Though saying that, more 'Strayans bringing the banter can never be a bad thing.
...Hmmm. I might have to get him after all...

As for Skullcruncher ... Skullsmasher ... whatever he's called this week, I always took him to be an Alligator. It's hard to tell from his nose as it's a bit of a blend between Croc and Gator.

Nonnef Productions has a 6 pack of guns he made for the Generations Minibots for lime 15 bucks or so, plus a few bucks postage. Would be nice if Hasbro included it from the get go, but if you dont mind add ons, you could do worse. These are jot the crappy Shapeways prints by any stretch

LOL yeah she is! Roddy's sniper rifle doubles as a lance.
And Longrack thinks he's cool, for sure. :p

This is the only leader class figure I have from PotP and I don't have any other boxes to compare to.
Do all the boxed figures have unique art?

This is from leader rodimus prime and its the same for leader optimus prime

I don't remember any of the previous lines having unique insert art. And to think, I almost just tossed it. I mean I still will.

If we have to choose between properly assembled knees or heel supports, working knees is probably the lesser of two evils.

We don't know for sure if the heel spurs are missing or just not transformed. None of the photos show the back of the leg.
Also, if I have my choice between the 2, I'd much rather have the knees right than have the heel spurs. They don't really add much stability IMO. Hell I used Onslaught for 3-4 months before I even realized the heel spurs were there.
Edit: Looks like you are right on the lack of heel spurs, they do appear to be missing in the combined photo. I'd still prefer the knees to be right, Hot Spot stands just fine for me, plus you have the ladder behind him that can act as a 3rd leg.

I may have worded that poorly. I agree that I'd rather have working knees.

This seems to be the case. In fact, the only place I've seen them was at a collectables shop.

I know there's always a debate of whose fault distribution is. But I will say, I hoped distribution would get better after Titans Return. In reality, it only seems to have gotten worse.

I agree that it's gotten worse, and to a certain extent I blame the Studio Series figures. I've been the Voyager/Deluxe (whatever they are supposed to be) and Leader class figures of them all over, but not the 2nd wave of POTP voyager and leader class.

The photos are for the Release. Skrapnel is part of the October assortment for PotP in Japan. As far as I know, Legends Class Skrapnel is not part of any wave 3 or 4 legends repack waves being released in North America, so he's not getting another release here.

At least if they botch this one, we at least have the starting point for a custom. A head swap and bit of orange and teal paint will do the trick nicely... well, at least for 2/5 characters.

There have been reports right here in the forum of people finding them at retail and this site does have a sightings section. They've at least trickled out to Walmart and Target.

Man you hit the nail square on the head there pard'ner. Combiner Wars was such a recycle machine my local vintage toy store swore off new Transformers toys for years.Rated X wrote:What a dissapointment on the inferno torso. Jake, are there no Kroger or affiliated grocery stores in the wolfy north?Wolfman Jake wrote:I'll feel a lot better once more Power of the Primes product is put up on HasbroToyShop, at least. I'm very lucky to have already found most of what I need for Wave 2, but I'm still short the ever elusive Wave 2 Prime Masters. I also want to get another copy of Elita One.
Here is a list of Kroger stores and affiliates:
If you have any of these grocery chains in your area, they may very well have wave 2 Prime Masters.
My local Kroger affiliate is Baker's, and I found them there.

He and Elita will look good with the Autobot limbs from this line, may be kind of hard to decide if I will have an Autobot combiner, and if so who will be the torso. I like Elita by herself with my Legendary figures shelf, but she wouldn't look bad next to Optimus Maximus either.
Hasbro read my Hot Spot adventures with Titan masters, and this is how Inferno came to be.
Black Hat wrote:Inferno will make a very good basis for the torso of a Nexus Prime custom. As Inferno himself though, nah.
Hmm, you are right. Maybe I'll temporarily match some limbs to him to match Nexus.
AlvinC wrote:Have only seen wave 2 voyager/leader once(only at a Walmart) while wave 2 legends like 3-5 times at Target/Walmart. I just want my dinobots completed man :/
Same. I'm waiting on the deluxes and prime masters, and all the Walmarts near me are starting to put up those "temporarily out of stock" signs, while other stuff encroaches on the TF area.
Emerje wrote:The Inferno torso mode with the white chest and red legs looks very "Artfire" to me, can that really be a coincidence? They could have left it black, but really went out of their way to paint it white.
Interesting point! I was trying to place the white and you did it for me. Maybe, to add to the Nexus comment above, I'll find a way to give him MP Artfire's Targetmaster

No Krogers or affiliates here in Minnesota, I'm afraid. All we have for grocery store chains are Cub, Lund's, Byerly's, Coborn, Rainbow (barely nowadays), and Aldi.
D-Maximal_Primal wrote:So, Inferno really doesn't look that bad. Not quite what I wanted, but not bad at all. I like the white on the torso, kinda of a surprise, and it looks good. His robot head is a bit derpy to me, but he follows the whole voyagers have their standard head and then a super mode of their head for combined mode thing going.
That's actually just Defensor's head from Combiner Wars/Unite Warriors, repainted. Only Inferno's robot mode head was actually retooled, unfortunately.
