You ordered 8 of them? For your own personal use?
If the system let him buy 8, it's his gamble. First come, first serve.
Absolutely. But that doesn't mean we can't resent him for it

Nothing, just be patient. It's apparently a thing with HTS.

now now, thats not reay fair. if I had the cash, ide be buying 2 myself. dont be mad at other who somhow got through, be mad at hasbros website for being fail

It's not about getting through or not. It's about being selfish. If you KNOW that there are other collectors like you trying desperately to get ONE of these, and you take two for yourself, knowing that this is a limited edition figure, you're being selfish. Sure, there's no law against being selfish, and you have a right to be selfish, but I reserve the right to resent your selfishness.

you should be able to check your order once it goes through. If a glitch made you order more than one just call customer service. I can't imagine they'd have an issue taking them off your bill.
Same deal with if you only get one and get charged more than once. Keep your recipt and check your bill at the end of the month. If something's wrong, call the credit card company

I was getting errors, too. Watch carefully how you enter your info. Mine backed out of the session and I had to log out and back in. Finally had to call customer service and they took over my session and got me 2 of the Prime sets and 2 of the Spidey Max Carnage sets. If you're still having issues, I recommend going the Customer Service 800# route. Just make sure you have the item numbers handy.

Odd thing for HTS to sell...but the idea of Prime and Megs settling billions of years of intergalactic conflict with beer pong makes me giggle.

It shouldn't. I was using a gift card so it couldn't multiple charge; it's seeming to stall just before the charge.
Basically it's like the online equivalent of having too many shoppers and not enough cash registers.

its just hts not being able to process the volume. im trying the 1800 number now, but ive been on hold with them for almost 20 minutes. they are getting slammed with calls now too apperently

its mt understanding that hts check out works to where if you add to cart, the items are pulled from the inventory and allocated to you untill the order goes through or is cancelled out

Mehopes Hasbro corporate hears about this and it provides them with more evidence that TF collectors will line up for stuff like this and more incentive to offer us more fanservice in the future, in the form of more exclusives and more fan-focused releases.
They should recognize the fact that while over-produced Bumblebee molds and other unwanted crap are gathering dust on store shelves and preventing stores from stocking newer waves, their website and 800-number are being overwhelmed with rabid fans lining up to buy an exclusive.

I didn't have an issue when I ordered my SDCC Prime when they 1st came online. So either there's more hype with the NYCC ones or their servers picked a bad day to be buggy... or maybe I was just lucky with my SDCC order.
It's making me happy I went to NYCC. Geez. Hope all you guys struggling with the site and phone get your figure(s)!

Me: Yes, I'm calling about the same thing that the last hundred people called about.
HTS Guy: (laughs) Okay, you're trying to get the Bumblebee and Arcee set?
Me: Yep.
...
Order complete.

The second they showed up I tried to get the Bee/Arcee set...for nearly two hours now I have been trying to get the order through. Finally just now I called waited only about 5 minutes and in two minutes had my set. Wooo!!! Thank you sales rep for your quick order taking. Anyone still trying to try online, give the number a call. It was really really painless
My order went through online while I was on hold with customer service.

Well it's the price of definitely getting the set and having it in hand vs. the set maybe still having stock after the show and the stock maybe going on Hasbro Toy Store and then you maybe getting one before it sells out. Can't put a price on certainty.

She kept asking about a promo code though. I tried the NYCC2011 one, but it didn't work so I just went on without it.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
One lesson I've learned about collecting: if you see something you want and have an opportunity to buy it, don't wait, don't put it off, BUY IT.
Posted by Diem on October 19th, 2011 @ 12:35pm CDT
Well it's just an early bird special with a fancy package rather than an exclusive repaint or retool. Guess people are willing to wait for the regular release at half the price. Either that or Hasbro made WAAAAAAAAAAYYYY too many of him.Pinoytron wrote:I am surprised that the Prime set still "In Stock"..

They don't sell the Comic Con exclusives at retail.
