Do you remember way back when, when everything about TF2 was pure guessing and the possiblities were endless? Remember all the pros and cons discussed regarding the return and the deaths of certain Cybertronians? Remember THIS?!!!

Thats right Seibertronians, the rumor is back. Jazz may be in TF2 afterall, according to TFW2005.com.

Misinformation? Good "tip"? Only time will tell, but one things for certain, when it comes to Transformers the Movie 2, there's definately more than meets the eye.

Well, that just sucks. Stay dead, you weren't a great character, plus it actually makes your "death" pointless, and you're taking up a spot that could be used for a character more interesting like .. oh .... WHEELIE!

Not that having a Pontiac Solstice in town actually means anything. I'm hoping it's Bay screwing with the fanboys again. Go Bay!

I am not surprised. I think I was one of the first to propose that one of the plotlines for TF2 be Ratchet discovering that the AllSpark fragment Prime removed from Megatron's chest at the end of the movie is regenerating itself...and that AllSpark fragment ends up healing Jazz. I further believe that the "radiation" eminating from the fragment will be termed "energon" and are actually discovered to be atom-sized robotic organisms...designed to repair the AllSpark and used by the TF's to create their race.

Whats the point in dying if you just keep coming back to life??? Man TFM is looking so much greater now with this news! I was really looking forward to Ironhide's death but now....Im just hoping the Smurfs can kill Soundwave. Now that would be totally bad azz!!!

Pontiac Solstice on set does not = Jazz. It could be a trick or a prop or homage...

This is most pleasing to hear! I've always had a fondness for Jazz, and the movie DID NOT do his character justice.

now.. i love the first movie.. i've seen it a lot.. but.. i never understood how they've been battling for millions of years but it takes like 20 minutes for 5 of the top decepticons to die.

geez. who DIDNT see this coming . the moment prime took a fragment of the allspark out of megs chest we knew something was on the cards. as mentioned on that board it was a fairly random death scene so bringing him back is a good move.

i have to laugh at some on the comments posted on the other site though. particularly the "whats the point if they dont die". for one thing killing transformers was always a messy business and being ripped in half doesnt cut it. but more importantly what resurrection by the matrix means is that TF are effectivly immortal while WE die.

hence ramping up the drama.

heres hoping TF2 has a HUGE human death count. guilt tripping prime for the war while showcasing the nastier side of the deceps. :)

While it's true that Jazz's resurrection would negate the weight of his death, what little weight there was, there's a way that his Allspark resurrection could have a significant meaning in the new movie:

After much consideration, Prime decides to use the Allspark fragment to bring Jazz back, but afterward Prime feels it was an abuse of its power. This "playing Primus" weighs heavily on him, causing him to doubt himself and his decisions, maybe even leading to a disaster for Earth and/or the Autobots. Meanwhile, Jazz is freaked out after being brought back, perhaps even angry that Prime went against Prime's nature and used the Allspark for the Autobots' gain. This causes friction among the Autobots, and we all know that discord among the main characters in a drama makes for good story-telling.

Good explianation? Really? You have an artifact sponatiously bringing drink machines, steering wheels and cell phones to life, and you need a good explianation? The exposure to the all spark explosion slowly revives and repairs him. His awakening makes the other bots realise that same thing is probably happeneing to the Decepticons defeated as well and a thin movie sequel plot is born. Come on, it's a Bay movie, not Shakespeare. The whole thing is going to have just enough plot to give the fight scenes context.

Well, Bay might argue that there was no "Brawl" in the movie, 'cuz he called him Devestator instead. Still, I wouldn't mind if he came back, as long as he sounded like his VG version from the DS. The DS Brawl was funny as hell ("Wanna play catch the projectile?") :P Plus, if the combaticons somehow become involved, Brawl MUST be revived if they are to combine again.

Unless said Pontiac car is done up to look like the Target Exlusive G1 Jazz toy, which said that Jazz was rebuilt. Personally, the G1 Deco Jazz looks better than the normal Jazz toy (final battle just behind, though).

Plus, Everybody's gonna come back probably. They just better include the Movie Incinerator IMO. His toy is awesome, and they featured Osperys in the opening of the first movie.

Well, did you see the little snip at the bottom of that article about a Malibu Polcie cruiser? Methinks that may be Prowl, because they are adding characters and I'd be real happy to see both of them...

What would a voice actor be doing on set? He's only really needed in the studio after filming is finished. Unless he's just filing in for the actors like Marc Ryan did last time.
