And Grimlock is back in stock, though I don't know for how long. I have had a real hard time trying to get this wave 1 voyager and leader. I haven't seen them in stores in my area, and Amazon isn't much help either (they are selling Grimlock at $35.84 as of this post).

Also there is a 15% discount for all action figures using the code at the top of the page. Transformers (at least Rodimus Prime) can use this discount code.

It has something to do with their (questionably executed) efforts to integrate the product listings on hasbro.com to the shop listings on HTS. Can happen in reverse too - find a listing on hasbro.com, click a "buy" button to go to HTS, and nothing but Mr. Potato Head and his 404 message.

Yeah, I consider HasbroToyShop to be Hasbro's personal TJ Maxx. The fastest clicker gets to scrape the barrel.

BBTS has Power of the Primes Titan Predaking up for preorder. $159.99. Lists the release date as mid-July 2018 (which is pretty specific for BBTS, so I bet it will come out in a couple of weeks. )

Power of the Primes Predaking can now be preordered at various online retailers. The price across the board is $159 USD. The Takara release is also available for Japanese fans (or international fans located close to Japan and fear the Hasbro release will not be found at retail). This nearby release date has me uneasy. I don't want to miss out on this guy, but I also don't want to get him in hand, just to find out a better SDCC version is around the corner.

No, it's not. But financial strategy shouldn't be much of a factor in toy collecting. (There are some exceptions.) These aren't needs, they are wants. And if we want Hasbro to continue to make us large Transformers, they need to make some money on them. If they keep going to clearance, they will just stop making them all together. I each his own. I think they are worth it. Considering the crap I see in other toy lines, I'm thankful for quality sets like these.

I was thinking of ordering it from Amazon in hopes that they reduce their price at some point beforehand.

HasbroToyShop.com has (finally) updated their listing for Power of the Primes Transformers figures with most of Wave 2! Snarl, Sludge, Rodimus Unicronus, Rippersnapper, Moonracer, Blackwing, the whole magilla. But - they did their normal thing of putting them up, but listing them all either "Out of Stock" or "Coming Soon".

The Cost of tax & Shipping...or the likelihood that stores in your area will get them in stock. Of course if you can order more than $50, that will negate the shipping cost, but unfortunately right now, the 3 items I want only total just under $44, and with tax/shiping makes it close to $54. Of course I could order another item (which basically will end up only raising the total by a couple dollars), and try to sell it oin eBay...Just wondering what is the best, most hassle free way.

If HTS offers a promo code or free shipping in the near future, that would be ideal, but its a gamble I've lost more than won at.

I'm guessing at this point the likelihood of wave 2 showing back up at retail is pretty slim. I'm glad I jumped when that window was cracked the first time around. Of course I still spot old Rip-N-Snap at retail from time to time.

They wont. Wave 4 will be Firestar, Slug, Blackwing and (alas) Ripeprsnapper.

Surpisingly, that mold might just be the very best limb we have ever gotten. It makes an excellent leg and arm. Its up there with the jeep mold as an exceptional limb. The problem is that unlike those, the mass is not well used in the actual robot mode and you end up with a giant backpack. But as a limb, it is probably the best.

I don't know if I should be shockingly surprised they lasted 10 hours, or extremely angered, they ONLY lasted about 10 hours. Well today wasn't my day. C'est la vie.

I consider myself lucky having ordered Sludge and Blackwing at 7 AM EDT this morning. They're the last two I needed from this wave, and much cheaper at HTS than anywhere else, but still $45 taxed and shipped, unfortunately (standard shipping at that).

I hope wave 3 is easier to find at B&M stores. I'm looking forward to completing Abominus.

The page very clearly states that the release date for the set is August 13. The page is up now so that we know where to go on that due date.
