I mean, it's not like Optimus is the ruler of all of Planet Cybertron or something, he'd never want that job.

If you still can’t find them in stores, now is your chance! Try the “NEW2018” promo code, and if your order is over $50, shipping is free!
Edit - the NEW2018 code only seems to work with a very few items here and there on the website. But there is a new code - "JAN2018", that gives an 18% discount and free shipping for PotP figures, and Titans Return figures! Get Grimlock, and Starstream, and Slugslinger and save money!

But don't get too excited, because they've done their usual 'thing' of posting them when they don't actually HAVE any available for purchase. But keep your eyes peeled because this usually means it's only a few days before they DO become available...

Not on purpose! And besides, it's HTS that keeps yanking our chains like this, posting the toys when they don't actually have them yet - with that, what is up?

And Grimlock is back in stock, though I don't know for how long. I have had a real hard time trying to get this wave 1 voyager and leader. I haven't seen them in stores in my area, and Amazon isn't much help either (they are selling Grimlock at $35.84 as of this post).
Also there is a 15% discount for all action figures using the code at the top of the page. Transformers (at least Rodimus Prime) can use this discount code.

It has something to do with their (questionably executed) efforts to integrate the product listings on hasbro.com to the shop listings on HTS. Can happen in reverse too - find a listing on hasbro.com, click a "buy" button to go to HTS, and nothing but Mr. Potato Head and his 404 message.DeathReviews wrote:carytheone wrote:You're not just the reaper of souls but also the crusher of spiritsDeathReviews wrote:But don't get too excited, because they've done their usual 'thing' of posting them when they don't actually HAVE any available for purchase. Yeah, I consider HasbroToyShop to be Hasbro's personal TJ Maxx. BBTS has Power of the Primes Titan Predaking up for preorder. $159.99. Lists the release date as mid-July 2018 (which is pretty specific for BBTS, so I bet it will come out in a couple of weeks. )

Walmart usually stocks the titans online.

Well than you supported the toy at his release and intended price point instead of waiting around for it to be on discount. Nothin wrong with picking him up at full price

That's not good financial strategy.

Ironhidensh wrote:That's not good financial strategy.
No, it's not. But financial strategy shouldn't be much of a factor in toy collecting. (There are some exceptions.) These aren't needs, they are wants. And if we want Hasbro to continue to make us large Transformers, they need to make some money on them. If they keep going to clearance, they will just stop making them all together. Or they will dial back production so that not everyone who wanted the big one will get one. If you are one of the "waiting for clearance" crowd, then you are also waiting for the line to die. Besides, I paid full retail for my Metroplex and Devastator and how much are they worth now?
Posted by no-one on June 16th, 2018 @ 11:44am CDT
I say buy figures at the price point you feel they are worth. Nothing speaks louder than wallets.

Among the many items listed in stock and on sale? Rippersnapper! Only $10 (plus shipping of course). After the shipping, it comes close to regular retail price.
And if that wasn't enough? SOME of the wave 2 PotP figures that were posted up at HasbroToyShop.com are now actually available, including the Slash repaint, Cindersaur, the Duocons, and Rodimus Unicronus!

No relevant ones at this time, unless you sign up with a new e-mail address to get the one time use 20% off code. It is a gamble, but each person has to ask themselves....What is more beneficial for you...
The Cost of tax & Shipping...or the likelihood that stores in your area will get them in stock. Of course if you can order more than $50, that will negate the shipping cost, but unfortunately right now, the 3 items I want only total just under $44, and with tax/shiping makes it close to $54. Of course I could order another item (which basically will end up only raising the total by a couple dollars), and try to sell it oin eBay...Just wondering what is the best, most hassle free way.
If HTS offers a promo code or free shipping in the near future, that would be ideal, but its a gamble I've lost more than won at.

Can I at least get an MP for the right?
Speaking of Ripping and Snipping, I wouldn't get too excited.
I'm guessing at this point the likelihood of wave 2 showing back up at retail is pretty slim. I'm glad I jumped when that window was cracked the first time around. Of course I still spot old Rip-N-Snap at retail from time to time.
I was cruising the tfwiki and I saw wave 4 with a solo figure. I wonder if any of these hard to find figures will make a re-release?

They wont. Wave 4 will be Firestar, Slug, Blackwing and (alas) Ripeprsnapper.
Doesnt mean they wont have any extra revision waves like we had in Titans Return.

I've yet to pick up the new lady car, I'm hoping Firestar convinces me to jump. I have a hard time saying no to red bots.

Surpisingly, that mold might just be the very best limb we have ever gotten. It makes an excellent leg and arm. Its up there with the jeep mold as an exceptional limb. The problem is that unlike those, the mass is not well used in the actual robot mode and you end up with a giant backpack. But as a limb, it is probably the best.

That "Throne of the Primes" set that everyone seems so curious about! Looks like HTS is doing its normal thing of posting it, saying it's out of stock, teasing everyone for a few days by keeping that way, then having it available after another week or two.
So keep this one bookmarked, if you want that unconvincing robot ape that falls on it's face and sticks its arms out to become and even less convincing spaceship!
