Transformers: Legends Game Event - Cosmic Rust is now live.

As MEGATRON, SOUNDWAVE, and the DECEPTICONS travel towards Cybertron, they find a planet with a gigantic AUTOBOT symbol that is visible from space. Upon closer inspection, they discover that the entire population has been wiped out, leaving behind only a powerful weapon, the Lightning Bug.

MEGATRON takes the Lightning Bug, intending to use it on the AUTOBOTS, unaware of the creeping doom that it has inflicted him and his troops. He soon discovers the cosmic rust, and steals the Corrostop compound that the AUTOBOTS had developed in order to cure it. Now immune to the infection, he decides to use it upon the hated AUTOBOTS.

The AUTOBOTS, now inflicted and without their own supply of Corrostop, turn to their Matter Replicator for a solution. Unfortunately, the only remaining Corrostop is on the Statue of Liberty, which was used for the original tests, and it is now blockaded by DRAG STRIP, LASERBEAK and the other DECEPTICONS.

Will BEACHCOMBER and AUTOBOT GEARS be able to get past the DECEPTICON blockades and reach the Statue of Liberty in time for the AUTOBOTS to replicate the Corrostop? Or will the fate of the AUTOBOTS to be to rust into nothingness? Find out on TRANSFORMERS: LEGENDS – “COSMIC RUST”!

The newest Transformers: Legends mobile event "Wreckage" has begun. Looks like Megatron might be in trouble. Check the artwork and description for the event below.

Image

Stranded on the planet Junk, MEGATRON fights for his very existence as the JUNKIONS swarm forth, ready to feast on him. Led by their savage leader, WRECK-GAR, the ravenous beings chase him with a ferocity never before seen by the DECEPTICON leader.

Meanwhile, not too far from the carnage, SLUDGE and SWOOP search Junk for their missing leader, GRIMLOCK. Concerned with the rumors that the natives eat Cybertronians, and despite their skills as warriors, they hurry along, wanting to get off-planet as soon as possible.

While the Dinobots search for GRIMLOCK, and MEGATRON fights for his life, SKYWARP scours the planet for his leader, hoping to find him and prove his loyalty… and hoping that the myths about the planet’s inhabitants aren’t true.

Will the Junkions and their maniacal chief tear MEGATRON to pieces, or will he dominate the landscape and rule them all? Can SLUDGE and SWOOP find their missing leader? Find out on TRANSFORMERS LEGENDS – “WRECKAGE”!

That's an interesting twist on the Junkion story. Its a melting of the comics and cartoons.

If I have an Autobot team, do I use all my Decepticon card to upgrade my Autobot cards? You can't fight with Decepticon cards if you have an Autobot deck. Right?

The Transformers Legends Facebook page have posted details of their latest mobile device game episode - featuring the Dinobots, Insecticons, and the big purple himself, Shockwave. Check out details below.

TRANSFORMERS LEGENDS - “RESCUE THE KING” HAS BEGUN!

SLUG and SNARL traverse the Sea of Rust, searching for their leader, the mighty GRIMLOCK. As they are about to give up on their search and look elsewhere, the group is suddenly set upon by HARDSHELL and the INSECTICONS.

The Lightning Strike Coalition put up a valiant fight, destroying many of their foes in the process, but in the end are captured by the overwhelming DECEPTICON forces. Shortly thereafter, they are brought before SHOCKWAVE and an unconscious GRIMLOCK.

Gesturing to their leader, SHOCKWAVE reveals to SLUG and SNARL that it was his plan all along to lure the Lightning Strike Coalition to him, so he could alter them to create new superweapons. With that, he begins his experiments on GRIMLOCK, the sounds of machinery filling the room.

Will the AUTOBOTS emerge unscathed and victorious, or will they be twisted by the alterations? What nefarious plans does SHOCKWAVE have for GRIMLOCK and his team? Find out on TRANSFORMERS Legends - “Rescue the King”!

Courtesy of the DeNA Transformers Legends blog, we have information on the latest update to the mobile game device. Combiner Wars really is hitting across all Transformers media, as the new “The Key to Vector Sigma, Part 1” event features art of Menasor, Skydive and Alpha Bravo. Check it out below!

After the DECEPTICONS fail to steal the superfuel that has been given to the AUTOBOTS, their leader decides that they need their own land-based forces. After some choice thefts and modifications with Cybertronian technology, the STUNTICONS are born. But as powerful as they are, they lack the spark of life. And the only place to obtain it is Vector Sigma.

The AUTOBOTS learn of the DECEPTICONS’ plan, and realize that the newly created STUNTICONS will need to be taken to Cybertron to be given true life. In order to counter this, a group of AUTOBOTS returns to their home world to create their own sky-worthy forces.

Both groups arrive at Vector Sigma nearly simultaneously, and the AUTOBOTS and the DECEPTICONS bring life to their new allies in time for a major showdown. On one side, MOTORMASTER and the other STUNTICONS rise to life, while on the other, FIREFLIGHT, ALPHA BRAVO, and the AERIALBOTS stand tall, fighting for control of the key to Vector Sigma!

The battle starts to go badly for the DECEPTICONS, but as things look grim for them, the STUNTICONS join together to become the colossal MENASOR! With the increased firepower of their gigantic foe, the tide begins to turn against the AUTOBOTS.

Will the AERIALBOTS be able to defeat the vicious STUNTICONS? Or will MENASOR and the DECEPTICONS drive the AUTOBOTS out of Vector Sigma? Find out in TRANSFORMERS Legends - “The Key to Vector Sigma, Part 1”!

Please note that the reward card listed for the top 100 prize, MENASOR, is an Evolution card, and not a Trans-Scan card as is shown in the Join the Event screen. The top 100 prize will NOT include this version, only the Evolution version of the card. Thank you.

Via the Transformers: Legends blog, we have news and art for the new episode in the mobile device game featuring our favourite transforming robots - get out your amps, turn it up to thirteen and check out below the description for Knights of Unicron!

Even before they were the hottest band in the universe, the Knights of Unicron were still the stuff of legends. Loved by fans from Antilla to Zarak, these true metalheads shredded like no one else could. With the powerful riffs of MEGATRON and SOUNDWAVE, and the crazy vocals from OPTIMUS PRIME, nothing was going to stand in their way, not tonight!

After years of melting faces and blowing roofs off of houses, the Knights of Unicron found themselves in need of new talent and possibly a new pecking order. MEGATRON and OPTIMUS PRIME both vied for the position of frontman and lead singer, each claiming to have the touch.

Into this entered young AUTOBOT JAZZ. An up and coming musician known for his smooth grooves, AUTOBOT JAZZ was eager to prove himself in the Cybertronian music scene. He went to the Knights of Unicron audition with his friends LASERBEAK AND RATBAT in hand, to show the Knights what they could do.

Will AUTOBOT JAZZ and LASERBEAK AND RATBAT make it into the band? Will they win, if they dare? Can the group stand withstand the turmoil within their ranks? How will this look on CH1’s “Behind the Digital Audio File”? Find out on TRANSFORMERS Legends - “Knights of Unicron”!

Dear TRANSFORMERS Legends Fans,

Please be aware that with the arrival of the Ultra Legendary reward cards, like the mighty MENASOR, the difficulty of our events have increased to rise to the challenge of these and the other, more powerful cards!

Another day, another update for the mobile device game Transformers: Legends - and it's time for the Decepticon Justice Division to come back into play. Check out below more information on the latest episode for the game, courtesy of the Transformers: Legends blog, 'Rules of Disengagement'. Are you being deceived..?

Aboard a dimly lit DECEPTICON spacecraft, TARN turns to KAON and asks for a situation update. KAON reports that everything is going to plan, and that they should be close to their targets soon. The leader of the DECEPTICON Justice Division nods, and prepares to set their ship down on planet Clemency.

On the surface, BLACK SHADOW seeks refuge in the wrecked hulks left behind from a previous war. On the run for taking bribes from the AUTOBOTS to destroy a fleet of DECEPTICON War Worlds, the Phase Sixer stops and takes a breath inside a ruined ship when he runs across FLYWHEELS and the other Scavengers.

As the group finishes their conversation, a crunching noise outside alerts them to the presence of TESARUS, VOS, and the rest of the DJD. Unwilling to roll over and die, FLYWHEELS and BLACK SHADOW draw their weapons and prepare for battle.

Will BLACK SHADOW and FLYWHEELS escape the clutches of the DECEPTICON Justice Division? Or will TARN and his deadly crew eliminate their targets with extreme prejudice? Find out on TRANSFORMERS Legends - “Rules of Disengagement”!

They've finally cut out the middle man and just offered a fully MTM Scorponok for 5000 cybercash ($49.99 US). The sad part is this is an improvement over the usual random chance we had before when using the premium space bridge.

Art's nice though.

Fellow Seibertronian STngAR has pointed us in the direction of the Transformers: Legends mobile device game blog, as a new update rolls out! The second part of the Key to Vector Sigma episode is currently out, and you can read more about it below, as well as checking out the artwork of Aerialbot combiner Superion.

Back on Earth, the DECEPTICONS discover that the key to Vector Sigma is able to transmute whatever it touches into metal. Knowing that they have this, and the might of MENASOR, the DECEPTICONS decide that they will turn the Earth into a new Cybertron.

Teletraan 1 detects the energy of the key being used to convert parts of the area around a major northwestern city into metal, and alerts the AUTOBOTS. The AERIALBOTS join their new allies and head there, intent on stopping the DECEPTICONS from destroying the Earth’s environment with the key.

The STUNTICONS, upon seeing their hated rivals among their newly arrived enemies, charge towards them, intent on turning them into scrap. An instant later, a mighty battle erupts around them and the AERIALBOTS, leaving members of both factions out of commission.

As the fight rages on, MOTORMASTER, DEAD END, and the other STUNTICONS combine to become MENASOR. With a mighty roar, he lumbers onto the battlefield, knocking combatants flying as he storms towards the AERIALBOTS. Seeing the giant approach, they merge to form SUPERION, surprising their rival. Without a moment’s hesitation, they take MENASOR on hand-to-hand.

Can SUPERION turn the tide back against the DECEPTICONS? Or will MENASOR finish off the AUTOBOTS’ newest warriors? Find out on TRANSFORMERS Legends - “Key to Vector Sigma, Part 2”!

Fellow Seibertron.com member Starsaber468 has spotted a new update on the Transformers: Legends blog, detailing the new event for the mobile game, including some new planet-tastic artwork. Check it all out below, and feast your eyes on the cosmic brothers Primus and Unicron!

TRANSFORMERS Legends - “Battle of the Brothers” has begun!

The AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS are locked in fierce battle over an experimental space bridge designed by JETFIRE. GALVATRON, intent on using it to transport weapons of mass destruction straight into enemy territory, orders his forces to use any means to secure it.

A stray shot from someone’s weapon strikes the space bridge, causing it to overload and explode. RODIMUS, JETFIRE, and GALVATRON and their teams are blown backwards through time, to before the creation of Cybertron.

There they discover the two brothers, PRIMUS and UNICRON, locked in titanic combat. The universe trembles with each blow, until finally the both withdraw, summoning forces to their sides to aid in the battle.

GALVATRON, in his madness, decides to ally his DECEPTICONS with UNICRON, ignoring the fact that the destruction of PRIMUS will spell his end as well. Meanwhile, RODIMUS, JETFIRE and the AUTOBOTS, realizing the stakes, throw all of their strength behind the creator of the Cybertronians.

Will PRIMUS prevail over his brother, the Chaos Bringer? Or will UNICRON finish the creator and erase the AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS from existence? Find out in TRANSFORMERS Legends - “Battle of the Brothers”!

UPDATE - All players in this Team Battle Episode have a chance of receiving a reward of 40 Battle Cubes from any of the bosses encountered. This is on top of the normal Boss payouts.

We some sad news to deliver to you guys today. It looks like Denagames just announced that they will be sunsetting the Transformers Legends Mobile Device Game, which according to Seibertron.com member Pax XilThalon will happen on 8/15/2015. Let us know how you feel about this by discussing it with your fellow fans in the Engeron Pub forums here.

Please check out DENA's announcement below.

Hey everybody,

It is with heavy hearts, and much displeasure that we must announce some bad news today.

We will be sunsetting the particular game that lead you here on the date specified in the in game popup. Purchases of in-game currencies will be shut off as well. (you will still be able to spend your remaining balance on resources packages and in-app purchases).

We always try everything within our power to keep our games running for our loyal playerbase as long as we possibly can, but unfortunately we are out of options at this point.

We know how hard it is to watch a game you love close its doors for the last time, but we certainly hope that you will consider adventuring with us further, as we move into the future. If so, we would certainly be thrilled to have you try one of our newer games, which can be found here: http://www.denagames.com/
Thank you for being such a loyal passionate player of ours, and we only hope that we can continue entertaining you for years to come with our new games.

Sounds like the playing base that actually spent money dropped off to the point it just wasn't worth the cost of updating it.

I'm not sad to see it go, I gave up months back when it became apparent the only way to really get anywhere was to dump money AND a hell of a lot of time (which I never had)

unless you are texting or talking to soemone everything else you do on phone will drain battery fast companies are busy making computers fit in pocket palm of hand instead of keeping useful stuff on phone internet, talk and text everything else is pointless and waste of space on phone memory internet, games, applications on phones drains it fast but talking and texting does not not difficult find that problem

In all honesty, this wasn't the best game. The old G1 awakening game was better, even if it was severely limited. I've owned most tf games, consoles and mobile, and I'm starting to come to the realization that the concept just doesn't translate well into a game, however much it seems like it should. Hopefully something will prove me wrong in the future, after all, Batman games sucked before Arkham Asylum

I just kind of quit that game one year ago, just too many "pay-to-win" players that made it impossible to get decent rating in the events and get cards worth the effort for a free player, so this news is quite a bit on the "who cares" side.

But the satisfaction of thinking about all the money they wasted to make my game miserable, now gone forever, is quite refreshing...

I'd been playing regularly for about 2 years. I noticed this last event that a lot of the usual top players weren't on, and it's been really glitchy for a few weeks. I put in a LOT of my free time on this game and sometimes spend a bit of cash. It's addictive, and now it's going away. Just sad I never got a level 8 character. Also that we won't be getting new art because some of it, like the last Rodimus, is amazing! If they could ever release a gallery I would buy it in a heartbeat.

As some others have commented, I'm playing TF Battle Tactics now. It's less time consuming and I like watching the chibi TFs bounce around when they win. However with the most recent event it seems like another cash grab. One good thing is that I may have met a new friend in my area because of one of the leagues I was on.

I agree I was in the top 3000 range all the time but couldnt get higher cuz I didnt pay for the 16x characters. Then the last update deleted my login info and I havent been able to log back in. Which is probably helped the demise.

Never played the game, this kind of thing just isn't for me-but I am sad to see new initiatives and creative or independent ideas keep being thrown in the toilet because it's only source of cash is the individual customer.
From reading the experiences of you folks it sounds like the game was no fun or use without constantly throwing money at it-which can't be done by the average customer. Being made to feel like entertainment is only for the elite is bound to put people off, too.

Not sure what I'm trying to say...but it's a shame a source of entertainment can't exist from backing of sponsors and publishing companies, allowing fans and players to relax with something fun without having to shoulder the burden of it's entire existence. Sure, you pay something-product is to be bought. But...I know how much I hated FF13-lightning returns. You spend 40 bucks on the game but then find yourself constantly spending extra at the sony store for extra weapons, garbs etc.

Sorry, this may not pertain entirely to the topic at hand. Just seems every 5 minutes something is being closed down having not existed very long. (What was that other one, Transformers Universe?)

I "played" this for a while just to kill some time, but, man, it represented the worst aspects of mobile gaming.

But, as was noted above, there was some neat art involved. Thankfully, people have archived a lot of it on Websites.
