We thank a couple of Seibertronians for letting us know of some new sightings in the US, all at Target. Fand of the Legacy line will be happy to know that the wave 3 deluxes have been found. Those include Pointblank, Dead End, and Skullgrin. Those were found in New Orleans. Also at Target was the exclusive Street Fighter Transformers set. Those have been found across the US.

I hope I find Dead End. He was the only one I couldn't preorder before he sold out everywhere. My Target still has Elita but that's the only time I've seen her.

Good call on Dogfight from Needlenose. They'd have to rework the arms and wings, but I don't think it would be more work than Crankcase.

Man, wave 3 Deluxe sightings and I still haven't seen Deluxe wave 2 in any stores.

In general yes, people were absolutely predicting that, I was just talking about specifically that older thread and it never popped up in anyone's suggestions there.

Same here, my Walmart has Wave 1 Deluxes still and my Target just has Red Cogs and Toy Terrorsaurs instead of retail Legacy Deluxes.

I hope you are happy with him when you find him. I am a little on the shelf with mine to be honest. I am still trying to figure out what it is about him that I find "off" (besides the way you have to force his feet to peg in alt mode) with the figure.

I didn't watch the Stream, I only saw what all happened on the Stream while scrolling Twitter, and then I got the Pulse email, went to the page, and saw they had put a bunch of in stock TF stuff up.

Outside of Minerva and Bomb Burst, Core Soundwave, Speedia Crasher and Shadowstrip, and RED Prime Prime, Prime Megatron, and G1 Thundercracker all went up too, all in stock purchases

I am not surprised, it is situations like this that made me choose to keep Premium. The free shipping is important, but the early access for limited items is even more important. I've managed to get a few things that sold out before the general public could access, it's the only reason I succeeded in getting Cosmos

The TF portion of the stream was dedicated entirely to Deathsaurus, everything else that went up was a stealth drop (although all of them except Minerva had been officially announced before and just weren't available to order yet, if I recall correctly).

We knew from the recent Hasbro Q&A that it was still going to Walgreens, they were just waiting to hear what their release plans were. For this to now have gone up on Pulse Hasbro must have gotten whatever information they were waiting for. Time to keep an eye on Walgreens.com.

Ok I nabbed a skullgrin from the same Target I got Pointblank and Dead End from.
I pulled up a video from chefatron to watch the transformation of him.

Now he mentions the plastic feels cheap and soft plastic is really pliable especially the "swords", Fooling with this one I don't get the feel of cheap plastic and the blades are made of softer plastic but are not as pliable as they appear in the video. I wonder if the early copies the reviewers get could be a production test or something but so far he has had issues with "cheap" plastic on both pointblank and Skullgrin and the figures I have purchased are no where near as cheap feeling.

Does anyone else have any issues with their skullgrin figs and the softer plastic?

Did you get a chance to read the round table interview Hasbro gave? It not only talks about Minerva but it also adresses things you were wondering about (and it contradicts some of what Scott says on his channel regarding marvel legends).

You guys finding any Legacy are lucky. I've had nothing but a SINGLE Rhinox in a SINGLE Toys'R'Us since freaking March! The only new Transformers I had in my city was the LEGO Optimus, which is a licensed product sold and distributed by a completely different company.

Anyway, anyone else would like to see more canon dimension-hoppers in the multiverse-focused series? From the top of my head, I would like to see Vector Prime, Sideways (Armada and/or Cybertron), IDW Nova Prime/Nemesis Prime and at least one Omnibot. Pretty sure I'm missing a lot more, though.

I wonder if Twincast will have to give up coming with a tape buddy to have the fatter door. Kinda hoping the answer is no; even if the Eject part of this tooling is shorter in robot mode than I'd like, I think it looks a lot better than SIEGE Fremble, so probably-Rosanna from this mold would be nice.

Last time leaks gave anything on Twincast they said he comes with Rewind, but that was also before he got pushed back a wave, so who knows if that's still accurate.

Last time leaks gave anything on Twincast they said he comes with Rewind, but that was also before he got pushed back a wave, so who knows if that's still accurate.

I suspect that it being Rewind was a presumption on their parts, since Rewind doesn't match with the color of Twincast's tape window. For that reason, I certainly hope it's not Rewind.

I concur, someone I trust a good bit on TF toy opinions said he wasn't that good, so it's good to hear some positivity and help re-instate some of my hopes for the toy

Its Friday!! Time to play with some toys!! Legacy Deluxe Minerva just jumped through a portal from the Super God Masterforce universe! She’s here to help the Wreckers in there conquest to stop an evil foe! She unfortunately lost her headmaster abilities as she came through the portal, but she does come fully equipped with 2 energon infused rifles and a sweet lightbar for her alt ambulance turbo mode!

Another character that was definitely on my to-do list for a while now, I’m pretty hyped how she turned out. It was a design challenge to make an Elita One that would eventually be redeco’d as a Minerva. But, if that was the only way I was getting this figure, welp, challenge accepted! She was a perfect fit for a exclusive (I think Walgreens but gotta talk to @bmacatron84 , we’ve tried to keep the theming to medics(scientists) started with Titans Return Brainstorm I believe)

This has been the first time I purposely left a blaster in clear with no tint color. Since the ambulance needed the blue windshield and the lightbar needed the red tint, I thought, , why can’t energon be translucent clear, perhaps an energon we’ve never encountered before. I made sure her other rifle blaster resembled its original look and was painted a nice glossy black.

Make sure you get your hands on the medic repair welder that was released with our Target exclusive Red Cog. It will really do wonders for playing out battlescenes where Minerva and Ratchet can help some autobots repair some damaged transistors on the battlefield.

Who will the crazy inter dimensional spacebridge portal spit out next!?!? Isnt this fun!!! What sort of Evolution will happen to our heroes next! Will the energon infused weapons be combined and utilized to vaporize cybertron? Will an evil mastermind use a mega energon infused device to mind control an army to reign supreme!?!?

I am extremely angry and frustrated with Mark after seeing this. Did it at any point whatsoever cross his mind that he could maybe have pushed for a NIGHTBEAT to be redecoed into Minerva? Instead of screwing up both Elita and Minerva because you were that impatient to get a CHUG Minerva toy of some sort? :evil:

May the molds and the shipments meet with forklift accidents so that HasTak are more likely to try again sooner.

I would like to encourage everyone here to refrain from buying either of these wastes of plastic. Let them rot on the shelves til they get kicked to consignment stores.

Yep...

No Nightbeat, just an Elita who's wrong because the mold doubling as Minerva means she (AGAIN) can't have her actual altmode, and a Minerva who transforms wrong and isn't a Headmaster because the mold being Elita. Both of them messed up, all because Mark Maher was soooo impatient to have some kind of Minerva toy that he didn't care what he broke to get it.

I like the idea of us getting Minerva in principle, but I would be much more glad if we were getting a proper her (and a corresponding Nightbeat) instead of getting an impatience-fueled substantially-compromised her that transforms wrong. I'm sure glad I started that custom Minerva a while back, even if I still haven't finished it...

I, too, will continue to content myself with PotP on the Elita front. Thanks to Maher's impatience, this Elita is as much of a writeoff for me as the Netflix joke was.

AcademyofDrX, it's less a plan and more a frustration-fueled appeal to my fellow fans. And with my head having cooled a bit, I suppose an argument could be made for buying to show Minerva sells, but still... Blargh.

ZeldaTheSwordsman ... it's OK to be frustrated by a toy's release and I agree that this is not the Minerva I would've wanted (especially sans the Headmaster feature). However, there's no need to attack a Hasbro employee over it nor is there any reason to make lewd comments. Mark, nor any other person, does not deserve to be treated that way or verbally assaulted in that manner. Please update your posts above to remove the "randy" and "horny" comments as well as any phrases that are inappropriate above.

As well as his signature since, according to you, it violates policy. Or does that apply to only certain points of view?

On topic, I have no attachment to Minerva so I could not care any less about a minor character. However, it would be great to get a proper Nightbeat.

As a Masterforce fan, I'm a disappointed by that Legacy Minerva. Not just because she's no headmaster, but because the toy itself is bad. The car mode keeps having it's panels split and that's annoying. Still, I commend it for having such a small backpack.

I'd want her to be properly redone. But a proper Nightbeat needs to be his own mold because having an old man head on a little girl body would be... hilarious!

I've lived all of my life without a Minerva, so if I never get one, it will be same old same old (I only know the character through the rarity of a non yellowed G1 toy). But I do think we'll get another shot at her one day regardless since she is a natural redeco to a more popular character that was never done properly either.

It would be interesting to see how they could get an animation accurate Minerva from Night Beat since the Masterforce cartoon did a little alteration to make her more feminine then the toy.

I did pick her up. I don't think we'll be seeing anything close to a better Minerva representation and I cannot for the life of me imagine how they'd make a masculine-style Nightbeat and a Feminine-style Minerva out of the same mold.

I have fond memories of the Masterforce series, as it was my first introduction to subbed TF content, and I was at an age to empathise with the kids. Also I'm just a sucker for non-mainline figures, always have been.

I picked up the new Minerva, but I'm also thinking of trying my hand at making an upgrade for her to give her a more accurate torso and the headmaster feature to work with LG-EX Minerva's head mode

Ha really needs to be headmaster.

And he hasn't really been given a proper update. 3 updates and none work 100%.

The better one seems to be the Botcon Exclusive even if it is using the Energon Hot Shot mold.

And the titan master just has the most awkward expression.

Why? Nightbeat wasn't exactly Cybertron Optimus Prime lol. Just do a normal Nightbeat and color-swap it, maybe have new thighs and pelvis a la MP Road Rage.

(on a tangent, it's clear that Kingdom Tracks' issues are down to them trying to recreate the MP at the Deluxe price point).

The somewhat-more-shapely arms from the animation model would have to be toned down or tossed for the sake of transformability.

Strictly speaking the most recent Minerva was the one from the LGEX God Ginrai set, but the Legacy figure is indeed a step up from DVD-exclusive Minerva-colors Thunderblast.

Ironically, there's probably more fiction where Night Beat isn't a headmaster then where he is (in fact aside from the toy, there's probably only the marvel comic). I came to live the character from IDW 1.0 where his head stayed attached to his shoulders.

And Marvel only barely qualifies, too. Only one small UK-only story did Muzzle ever appear to detach from Nightbeat's body.

The only story ever that actually gave any attention to Muzzle as a character separate from Nightbeat was Fun Pub's semi-obscure one-shot comic "Cheap Shots".

Unless one also count Legends Nightbeat who was both a Headmaster (but only a head with no designated Transtector body) and an evil (or at least, morally gray) version of Minerva that caused a fair amount of trouble in the Legends World.
