While he wasn't due out for a while, Amazon.ca has shipped their orders for the Transformers Kingdom Golden Disk Jackpot set. It is unclear if this has any impact on what Amazon.com will do, since this toy is not due out till march. However, Amazon.ca has been very bad with preorders for the past year (a lot of Canadians lost out on the Coneheads) and this may simply be them getting a shipment and sending it out asap before it gets lost and eventually sold/left to another distributor (which is what happened with the Coneheads). So Canadians are getting jackpot early.
This gives us our first proper in hand photos from finished copies and it appears there are some issues with the toy. One of the issues is mismatched paint, said to be equivalent to Sunstreaker (which many fans did not mind, while others did), but the other issue is the more concerning one. The new tooling with this toy is the headsculpt and it is misaligned. This has been prevalent on all copies checked so far. You can see what we mean by this in the photos below coming from different sources. One comes from Chad who posted on a discord chat while the other comes from Alex on Twitter.

If the head is made up of two halves, how the hell do you make the mold for one side smaller than the other? They should be simple mirror images of each other.
I don't think it's a sizing issue but simple misalignment. The "helmet" shape is higher on one side at both the top and the bottom. If it was a problem with the size, you would expect higher on one end and lower or flat on the other. It's not great, but I don't see this as a deal breaker. I think a little paint could help even it out a bit, even if it's just to make the seam less prominent.
I'm also not sure that "it's on two of two" should be interpreted as "it's on every copy," though we know it won't be a one-off.

This is an issue on all copies people have claimed to receive so far. Granted, people may not share if there is no problem. There is a thread about this over at Cybertron.ca if you want more cases.

You're right, it's there too. The angle is different, Hasbro knows to hide stuff that looks bad (sometimes). I guess it's an issue with the mold itself then.

Hopefully there is a fix for the head. I liked the figure just didn't want to be paying the price for it and with the head it's dropped lower into my maybes.

Not really sure what kind of fix is possible. Try to smooth it over with paint, or print a new head. Especially if it's a mold issue, it's not the kind of thing a simple running change would address, right? Especially for a specialty release?
I probably won't bother making any adjustment, as things like this generally don't bother me. If it's going to be a problem, the best bet is probably cancelling the preorder, especially if we don't see any copies that look better.

I'm not sure exactly how it is divided, or how many parts there are. My initial thoughts were it was a simple left half/right half design, but there is no visible seam at the visor or the mouth, so it almost seems as if it would be 3 part head with a core containing the visor and mouth, and the right and left halves of his helmet fitting around the core.
If the helmet does in fact have a right and left half, then it looks like the screwed up the mold and one side is smaller than the other. Looking at the helmet, the silver parts on the left of the photo (right side of his head) are lower at the top of the head and slightly higher below his mouth. If it was a simple misalignment, then the silver parts on one side would both be higher or both be lower, not one higher while the other is lower.

People are saying it's 1 piece so its the mold that is misaligned.
And its every single copy out now that is said to have this issue

It seems it was a problem with the stock figure. but to a lesser degree, and nobody.noticed.

I think I might have figured it out. First, all left/right comments below are talking about which side of the photo, which will be the opposite of the figure's actual left and right side.
It might be misaligned, but I think that isn't the only problem. Looking at the 2 circled areas from Overcracker's photo, if the painted portion above the visor and the painted portion below the chin are each on a single piece for the left side and the right side that are molded together, there is a problem with the mold halves themselves. The painted part on the above the visor on the left side sits lower than the right side. The painted part below the mouth sits higher on the left side than the right side. That means the distance between the painted portions above the visor and below the mouth is less on the left side than on the right side. Which would mean the mold for the left side was made just slightly too small as compared tot he right, or vice versa.
The 2 different photos bear this out. For the stock photo, the portion above the visor is much closer aligned, but the part below the mouth is further off. From the in hand photos, it looks like they adjusted the alignment to fix the mouth, which is much closer, but it pulled the portion above the visor more out of alignment. That can only happen if the mold for one side is slightly smaller than the other.

I'm guessing half of the mold also has the face while the other half doesn't which is why the seam is only visible at the top and bottom. But like Jelze had said, it's strange that they chose to do the mold side to side rather front to back. There was always going to be a seam, the misalignment made it even worse. Hope they learned their lesson.

The packaging come in a brown shipping box. The box itself is in full colors, but is very thin. The tray and tie-wraps binding the toys are all cardboard. Zero plastics. All that paper and cardboard except for the instructions will find themselves in the recycling bin.
As stated in the previous news report, This version of Jackpot have a new headsculpt but factory gremlins has missaligned the head parts so it appear a bit wonky. On mine, only the top of the head is affected. Not a big deal in my opinion. I'll just say he got bonked.
Jackpot is a repaint/retool of the Studio Series 86 Jazz. The colors are so different and with that still nice new head makes Jackpot worth owning even if you already have SS86 Jazz.
Jackpot come with the same gun as SS86 Jazz, but Hasbro didn't forgot his partner, Sights. Sights is a straight repaint of Siege Pteraxadon. Here, it works perfectly.
Let's not forget comparing the newer Kingdom Jackpot to the original Action Masters from G1!
Contrary to the Action Masters original, this is the very first time Jackpot can transform! And redecoing SS86 Jazz was the right call because that's the perfect altmode. Matching yellows is always very hard to do and here, it's no exception. However, the only yellow that dont match are on the front of the car and it's just a tiny part. Depending on how you see things, this may look even better than just a plain uniform line. Transformation was also easy like the SS86 original and at no times I was afraid that something may break due to all that clear plastics. The car is a beauty.
Overall, Golden Disk Jackpot is pretty awesome and it's amazing that it's no more expensive than a regular deluxe despite coming with a bonus Battlemaster. I highly recommend that you get yours while it's still in stock.

First, godammit typos with a word that shouldn't have been there to begin with.
Second, do far we never got any Select SS figures. As if they are not part of Generations. That's why I put "Generations" in quotation marks.

It feels weird having a Transformer that's bigger than Combiner Wars Devastator after six years of him being the centre piece of my collection, but I'm happy that I bought the Ark. Mainframe is neat too, he fits in with the rest of the Autobot cast surprisingly well.
Glad you like the set. I love the Ark, I named him Iaconus and he is my 2nd favorite titan so far. Mainframe is really neat too. They did a great job with that whole package
The only thing that irks me about The Ark is that the gun turrets don't move. Considering he has no weaponry in robot mode, having at least the arm guns able to point forward would be a problem solver. Was it really that important to the budget to have them fixed in place?

However, all promo shots of Terrorsaur and the 360 video show him with the Vok disk. It'd be very stupid and sort of funny if Terrorsaur ended up shipping with that disk instead, given how they built the whole identity of the set around the Voyager one.
