Jared at Hasbro Pulse wrote:Thank you for reaching out to us in regards to this. We do apologize but we are unaware of if or when that figure will be re-released for sale on our Hasbro Pulse website as we are limited to the products and information that is currently listed on the website. We would advise checking the website for updates as new products can be added at any time.
Emerje wrote:Hi, I think you might have misunderstood my question. I wasn't talking about a re-release, I was talking about a first release of figures 5 and 6 (wave 3) of Transformers Selects Seacons. The first four figures were sold on Hasbro Pulse, but the last two figures remain missing. https://hasbropulse.com/pages/search-re ... ?q=seacons
These have been available at Takara Tomy Mall for a few weeks now and usually Hasbro Pulse lists Takara Tomy's Selects figures within a couple days of the Japanese listing. https://takaratomymall.jp/shop/goods/se ... %83%93%83Y
I just want to know if Hasbro Pulse is going to complete the set or if fans are going to be forced to buy them from other sellers at a higher price?

Good ol' noncommittal customer service. I guess expecting them to actually find out is asking too much.

Emerje wrote:So I tried to get an definitive answer out of Hasbro Pulse customer service on whether or not they'd be offering the remaining two Seacons. Their customer service rep was less than helpful, basically just saying the only info they have is what's on the site after first somehow thinking I was asking about a re-release even though I never mentioned one. I'll just post my email chain below:Emerje wrote:Any idea when the third set of Selects Seacons will be available for pre-order? Takara Tomy is already offering them and shops here are taking orders. Yep. That's the same line I got when I asked their Customer Service "Chat" line about a month ago (minus the confusion about the "re-release").
So, per their sage advice, I keep checking the site multiple times throughout the day. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they post Tentakil and Overbite within two days of when pre-orders are no longer taken for them. But just in case HP does drop the ball on the last two, I've pre-ordered them at Toy Dojo as a Plan B. I won't be charged until the items come in and I can cancel them before then if I'm able to pre-order them from Hasbro Pulse. And though I realize each is $5.00 more than what HP would list them for, at least I'll have them pre-ordered in case HP doesn't list the last two at all.

As a Canadian, I could juggle bowling pins while jumping through hoops on fire, I will never, ever get free shipping from Pulse.

No, but I love itaronjlove wrote:Has anybody *done the hokey pokey* to get free shipping...
Sounds a little confusing, but didn't work out?
Off topic but on subject of Pulse, when do the free premium subs end? I might need to jump sooner than later to enjoy a little more of that sweet free shipping nectar myself

Preach it! I've spent hours browsing a site hemming and hawing, finally commiting and adding item(s) to the cart to just close the tab once I see the shippingaronjlove wrote:As a member of the Church of Amazon's congregation, free shipping is like my rosary or something. Takara Tomy Transformers Generations Piranacon 5
Takara Tomy Transformers Generations Piranacon 6
Both are $34.99 USD and will ship out March 28th, 2020
These new Generations Selects Overbite and Tentakil figures are also available for Australians though the EB Games and Zing Website. The price there is $78.00 AUD each ($53.24 USD) with a $10 AUD deposit. As you can see, the prices don't match up at all with what Pulse is charging on their end, which people already find to be excessive.

Even with their 10% cancellation fee, it might be worth it since Hasbro Pulse is more than 10% cheaper and you could get free shipping.

They completely dropped the ball on these 2. I believe the first 2 pairs of seacons each gave about a month, so these likely were supposed to go up pretty soon after they were announced by Takara, but Hasbro was likely distracted by Unicron and NYCC and forgot to put them up.

My guess too, they failed to get the pre-orders up and only just realized it

A reasonable theory, but that doesn't make it better.
And I don't think a one-month window of availability is exactly great either.

I can't wait to complete mine. Although that means I need to hurry up with the stop motion story I'm working on. Orthia was attacked by Optimus Primal and lost her arm during the War but in reality Lancer and Primal were tired of Orthia's nagging and wanted to go to a rave hosted by Soundwave. Pulse deliveries are showing up Friday and Monday so maybe I'll get it done over the weekend...

Using them as the toes almost makes the entire leg and foot look like it's one integrated piece. That's a much cleaner look for a combiner.
None of my PotP-footed combiners use the actual feet as the toes, I use all of the prime armor pieces for the toes. It actually makes the feet look larger! That's the one thing I really didn't like about PotP: the feet are too small and very unstable.

I do that for all my PotPie combiners. Not only for looks either, I find it helps a little bit with stability against that forward lean whenever you extend the arms outward.

I just noticed that Snaptrap's combined mode legs for his torso mode look to be the same as Combiner Wars Silverbolt, just remolded a bit.

Survivefan23 wrote:It could work as God Neptune, the pirates from Beast Wars 2, however they might have one big problem: Nautilator was missing from the group. Only big concern.
There are five limbs as it is now, with the one that doesn't get to be an arm or a leg used as a large weapon in combined mode. Reducing the group to four limbs and a torso would make it just like any other Scramble City combiner style team. I don't see the issue, honestly.
Survivefan23 wrote:I just noticed that Snaptrap's combined mode legs for his torso mode look to be the same as Combiner Wars Silverbolt, just remolded a bit.
That's because Snaptrap is a retool of PotP Hun-Gurrr, who is himself either a heavy retool of CW Silverbolt OR a case of shared engineering.
