Great news! The SAVE20 code works for free shipping plus 20% off. Glad I've waited and didn't order from BBTS.

Since when they have Brainstorm listed and out of stock? Guess I've missed it.

Damn!!!!! ...Hasbro you really suck on your timing.

I ordered (2) from BBTS this morning and order has entered warehouse so I cannot cancel. With shipping my order through BBTS cost me $41.47.

Crap...Well went ahead and ordered (2) through Hasbro as well and total for that order was $25.48. I figure I'll keep the best(2) of the (4) and return the others to my local Walmart without receipt. My Walmart has never giving me trouble about returning items sans receipt for store credit.

just got my confirmation Arcee/Chromia have joined Brainstorm in my POL. Just waiting on Hexatron, and I can ship. If only postage wasn't so expensive to Aus....

EDIT: Can back up earlier comments about Cosmos. Get him, one of the better new legends figures. Got him Monday along with my CW Wave 1.

Shrapnel is also great, but Reflector as a weapon is kinda meh. Bombshell rocks.
Acid Storm is the only legends Seeker I have and opened, pretty cool mould, but I'm not sure I want to collect three sets of Seekers (already have 7 each of the classics and FOC moulds) so Thundercracker is sitting unopened, next to Windcharger for now (Have the United Scout version) - if anyone in Aus (preferably Melbourne) is interested in these two, plus Tailgate, all unopened, let me know.

I wouldn't say it's all scalpers. I mean I got one too. Weve just been eating for this figure for about 28 years.

If I read that right, you are in the New York area. She is bound to show up at retail within the next few months. Or even simply the walmart.com website

I'm waiting for Arcee to show up at Amazon again. Two day shipping and I usually have a gift card or something so it'll be a better deal.

Confound it all. I missed out on HTS as well. Hope to find these at Walmart soon enough.

yeah but will she be 20% off see thats the key. Unless hasbro decided to up the quality theres no way in hell im paying close to $17(after taxes) for her. If ordered from a website throw on another $7 for shipping, not worth it. Ill just keep an eye on HTS & hope they're in stock by the 25th, if not oh well my collection wont suffer any and ill use the money to pick up a few neca alien & predator figures.

He was listed a couple of weeks back. I ordered two (one for me, one for a fellow TF fan/friend) and a couple of days before they got here, I found him at a Walmart near me.

Wish I'd thought to cancel my preorder of the fembots from BBTS, but oh well.

Figures. I got my fem-bots off BBTS yesterday. Ah well. Works out in the long run, I suppose. Arcee isn't available on HTS and I had MP Wheeljack sitting in my POL on BBTS.

Wonder if I'll get them before Christmas

In my area, Walmart is the least place to shop TFs since DOTM. Haven't been any of the stores for very long and past few days just paid them a visit because of Brainstorm. Of course not found anything. In fact, most of the stores almost have nothing. Wonder how much hope I should keep on them.

Closed Fist vs. Open (Who has what?)

Well Damn again...got screwed by BBTS being quick to put my order into Warehouse status and cancelled my HTS order. I went ahead and purchased (2) through Amazon (Just made it as they went up to $26.99 after confirming my purchase) because BBTS could not tell me whether their stock had the closed fist Arcee or open fist Arcee and could not guarantee my request of (2) closed fist Arcee (Amazon says my order may not arrive until 12.24.14 even with Prime shipping ). Below is a copy of response from BBTS

Thank you for preordering Arcee with us! It does not appear that this is an intended variant and we cannot guarantee that we have any of the closed hands in our inventory. It appears that the closed hand is a minor manufacturer's defect that appears randomly. I do apologize that I cannot accommodate this request. Something I have learned is never pay more than $16.99 let alone pay $16.99 for a deluxe.
I bought Chromia and Arcee for $20.00 total yesterday.

What made me even more sick was when Amazon dropped the price on Leader Class AOE Gridlock and Optimus to less than $20...

Patiences... That seems to be the biggest thing with this hobby. Not to much because you might miss out, but just enough to wait for it to go on sale / clearance OR you lose out because you waited to long...

These will be coming ot retail soon, and I am waiting for that. Will probably pick them both up for 20$ alltogether when it happens too.

I bought my Animated Arcee at TRU in person.

Yes, but do you live in Britain? A lot of the figures that come out in the US don't come out over here. Also there's no TRU within convenient distance of me and by the time I found out about the figure's existance it was already out of stock basically everywhere. Also I was like 14 at the time.

Yeah I still have two coming from TFSource. It seems they upped the price to 26.99. My preorder at TFSource is 31.99 for both Chromia and Arcee. Amazon be on that stuff. No thanks this time Ama.

Thinking I might wait a bit on these Combiner wars. Last time I rushed to get all of the figures of the last couple series and ended up regretting it because sales hit all over the place.

That and I am really curious to see what third party fixers are going to do to some of these...

I had Silverbolt completely ordered, but without the limbs I would've had to pay for shipping for him so I used my Amazon points to cover the shipping costs. After a few minutes I decided to cancel it because I really didn't wanna waste those points on something like shipping.

So I wait yet again for these to hit somewhere I can get them all in one shot.

You could always order from BigBadToyStore (BBTS.com - feeling lazy with URLs atm). If you preorder the sets, you can activate the PIle of Loot feature, and the have everything you ordered shipped at one time.

Alternatively, Amazon Prime is awesome. I got it for the streaming video, and the 2 day free shipping on anything in the warehouse is so awesome, I didn't realize how convenient it is until I started using it.

Big deal. BBTS has had them in stock for almost a week now.

Man, it aint that bad here. Tracking down figures over here is an art form though. Been at it 12 years and i pretty much got it down

The missus gave me £30 worth of Amazon E-vouchers which Ive just added to my account, along with a trial for Amazon Prime, so Ive just bought myself Generations Deluxe Arcee and Windblade with comics and should be delivered this Saturday!

Im surprised what with all the repaints we get that there hasnt been an Amazon Prime limited edition MP-10 done as a store exclusive via Amazon, with Optimus done in their orange, black and white colours and their 'A' logo as a faction insignia!

It's not so bad finding Transformers here in the UK, it's more the prices that bug me. Then again, it's less that what our European cousins are paying in some places!

Also, for the record, Britain isn't a bad place to live at all. My wife and I earn below the average national wage here and we live comfortably without resorting to cheating the system. It can easily be done if you get your priorities sorted. I can only speak for living in and around London (live just outside of it), and I enjoy living here. Can't speak for elsewhere in the UK, of course.

Got my Arcee and Chromia today and they are awesome! Less then 48 hours from order to delivery. I forgot how amazing HTS is on its shipping speed.

I am sure it is fast when you live in the same state these things are shipping from. Unfortunately mine wont make it to Kansas until Saturday.

Well Hexatron dropped into my PoL, so I shall soon have him, Chromia, Arcee and Brainstorm.

There aren't many gaps character-wise in my collection now, so it's mostly just waiting for future releases. Will help me save a bit of money I guess

Amazon is funny this time of year since you do have stuff coming and going quickly due to scalpers and such. You also get great deals on Amazon but remember this one point; if you wait to buy something at a sale price you might be hurting the line since that sends a negative message to the seller who in turn sends a negative message to Hasbro

Got my Generations Arcee.

I'm still trying to decide if she'll replace Delicate Warrior in my lineup or not. I think Generations has the better vehicle mode. Among other things it has a proper rear, something previous attempts at a G1 Arcee couldn't manage.

On the other hand, the robot mode doesn't feel as solid as DW. The arms in particular feel thin where DW was a pretty study figure throughout that wasn't wearing as much of a car on her back.

Yeah, her backpack kinda bugs me a little as well. Actually, it's the butt flap that bothers me more than anything else, but whatcha gonna do I guess.

For me Delicate Warrior is Classics Arcee. The Generations one was an easy pass due to the kibble and hips.
