I totaly understand that, and I agree, any more would be a bonus.

However, The least expensive Haslab to date is the Hero Quest game, and I think that was $150?? I would be a bit puzzled if it was *just* Star Saber for say...$100.00, any more, then YES you start to get into the argument that the MP toy is superfluous. But again, we shall see.

Also, something I just saw on Pulse makes me a bit nervous, looks like a Star Wars Haslab Rancor is coming soon as well. I hope they don't offer it, and the TF:Victory one at the same time

We already know the rest of Kingdom's regular releases, no chance of either of them there. However, you did just make me think of something. Haslab Unicron was timed to come out when the TFTM movie anniversary was due and the SS86 line was coming out, meaning there were toys to go along with the Haslab offering.

Granted there isn't a mandatory celebrate the movie anniversary every 5 years thing attached to Victory, but I do wonder if there will be some other regular releases in the next line to match up with whatever Haslab ends up including.

I would not be surprised if there are more Victory figs if HasLab is indeed Star Saber! But I dunno about that many actual figures since the US never saw Victory translated. I’d love to see more though since I feel like we have more than enough G1 updates

Raiden won't be in Haslab since that is for Hasbro initiated projects. Raiden is a Takara Tomy project. He'll be released same as any other Takara MP outside japan, through Hasbro sanctioned imports.

The Haslab project will definitely be Starsabre. We've had the rumour for over a year now and hasbro hinted at it.

I would also like this. I liked him in IDW, I'd like some bonus parts.

I personally made the goal for myself to not back it unless it comes with Victory Leo, and if for some reason Victory Leo is a stretch goal instead of in the regular package, I will wait until it hits that stretch goal to back it. I don't see how Star Saber is worth it alone

The IDW version is very different from the G1 version. A new head/mask, shoulder parts, weapons, and chest plate would at very least be needed. Also just because the IDW one is not the G1 version, does not make him any worse. To some, me, it actually made him palatable and not just a gundam thrown into the TF universe.

While certainly possible, I think it's best we think of it as a happy surprise if that happens but plan accordingly to the more habitual prices.

I'll be dead honest, as with Unicron I just don't have the money for a toy above $300 so I am bowing out of this one preemptively.

I hope it is reasonable, because honestly there's no way on gods green earth that they could justify the price otherwise (the only exception for me would be if he was combiner ready and came with victory leo) when the figure will just end up being a figure that could have been done at commander class
