Transformers Fall of Cybertron E3 Metroplex footage

Pretty awesome, just wish it was a higher quality.

I saw this watching the E3 coverage on Spike. I was amazed.

AWESOME!! I love how epic the scale of the game is going to be. This trailer really highlighted all of the characters, including the Dinobots! Although, it looks like both Optimus and Megatron put on a few pounds since WFC. Also, is it just me or did it sound like a new Linkin Park song in the background? If so, I guess they just can't get enough TF in their lives. I know the feeling.

Yeah it's pretty sweet can't wait until it comes out.

Based on the Autobots trying to get away into what looks like a loading bay, I'm guessing this is nearer to the end of the game when the Ark is trying to take off.

Also, Metroplex's face looks a bit like Fort Max's, dontcha think?

Yeah, I think both trailers should've been like the opener to WFC. And this trailer definitely didn't need music. But I can understand the first trailer showing that the Cybertronians are people too and are going through a difficult time through this war. The music was setting a tone for it.

Seems like I've waited my whole life for Transformers to be realised like this. I could not be happier right now.

I have never been so excited about a video game and the Transformers franchise before. Pre-ordered. Can't wait.

One part i didn't like was when Swoop gets a back hand from Bruticus and hits so hard it sends him off screen. Devastator smashed him up pretty good in the Movie as well. Poor Swoop

A moderately cool trailer.

Pros: Good to see Shockwave getting stuck into a fight. Really awesome to see Jazz and the Dinobots taking on Bruticus.

Cons: Megatron's new body; Metroplex's slack-jawed expression; and Optimus running like a bloke in cosplay.

Glad the levels are looking much more wide open than before. I didn't really think about it before but many of the levels in the first game are corridors and really tight spaces and it made vehicle driving a pain. looking even more awesome with every new piece of footage.

now I just need to go pre order my copy

Expect Metroplex encore sales to increase!

Just watched the interview. Matt Teiger says that the first level will feel nostalgic to G1 fans with it having the Ark and Nemesis leaving Cybertron through the space bridge portal... except that that never happened in G1.

Yeah, there was no portal during the fight with the Ark and Nemesis in G1.

Yeah, the only reason they go through a portal in this is because that's what was in the Binder of Revelation which this scene was drawn from. I guess Tieger didn't realize that Hasbro made that up instead of it being something inspired by G1.

It's the same Metroplex trailer that was previously, but they reveal the game's cover art at the end of the clip. The cover features Optimus Prime, Grimlock, Bumbleebee, and Metroplex looming the background.

To be honest, I think they shouldn't have made this trailer as I think it is a waste of time and money. Where as it could've been used to making the game better. Like better cut scenes or go towards multiplayer.

Maybe it's just the way the two are built, but it looks like Metroplex is LARGER than Trypticon.

Looks good, though.

Precisely. Matt Tieger has gone on record saying that Metroplex dwarfs both Trypticon and Omega Supreme.

I get the feeling that scene is a nod towards the '84 movie. Other than the addition of Jazz and the fact Grimlock barely seems phased after Bruticus' right cross. After all, not only did Devastator manage to take out Swoop (who has always been depicted as the more "fragile" of the Dinobots), but it was Slag who knocked ol' Dev on his ass, just like he does to Bruticus here.

Can I get some type of credit for taking these screenshots? I uploaded them to TFW2005 with the same account name (MV95)

In the scene right before Shockwave flies in Megatron is bashing one last autobot before he and Optimus go at it. That last autobot seems to look an awful lot like Jetfire I think.
