Hey there!

I hope this email finds you in great shape.

As you probably know by now, we launched the Power Cores feature this Tuesday! This new feature will add another layer to Transformers: Earth Wars gameplay, changing the metagame and offering new strategic options to every player.

To announce Power Cores, we created a new video series where Chris (Product Owner) and Adam (Game Designer) chat about how these items will impact the game. Three different videos were published on our YouTube channel and Facebook page:

'What are Power Cores?'

'Power Cores on Bots'

'Power Cores on Defenses'

On top of that, Deb, Adam and Dan answered a lot of questions about Power Cores and more on our weekly stream, called ‘Unknown Power’. You can watch the full session here:

The new Power Cores campaign, written by the legendary Simon Furman, will showcase of Autobots and Decepticon in their quest to discover a new technology from the distant planet of Nebulos. Once finished, you will get the Matrix of Leadership Power Core for Optimus Prime, or the Crown Power Core for Starscream!

Click [ur=http://pubads.g.doubleclick.net/gampad/clk?id=240454840&iu=/1006790/Text_Linkl]here to try Power Cores and equip the heroic Optimus Prime with the Matrix of Leadership, or the deceiving Starscream with his Crown!

Here are some of the issues reported that we've been investigating:
  • Attack core show an increase of healing dps stats in Healer profiles.
This issue will be fixed in the next client release.
  • Wallbuster core showed an increased of dps stats in troop’s profiles.
This was a display issue and Wallbuster just affects damage done on walls. This will be fixed in the next client release.
  • Screen touch becomes unresponsive on android devices.
The majority of users have indicated that the issue was resolved by disabling third party programs which caused a dimming of the device or the blocking of blue light after certain times. We are still investigating this issue. In the meantime make sure that you have disabled Samsung game tools and any other 3rd party software that may be interacting with your devices controls.

These are just a few examples of the reports that we've received from you, and we continue to work hard to improve your experience with the game every day.

We would like to thank you for your time and patience, and if you have any issues to report, please get in touch with us here: VIP@transformersearthwars.com. Alternatively, you can reach out to us in game via Menu > Community > Contact Support.

Because they're "P2W", and in Forged to Fight's case, it has no support for hardware mice (which "Earth Wars" at least has.

Obviously, this isn't going to happen, but as a mobile gamer and TF fan, I can dream that such freemium dross could, one day, be collectively ignored by the fandom...

So once again, because YOU don't like it, we shouldn't report it.

This is the second such instance of you saying we shouldn't news something because you didn't agree with it. You are aware that you can just scroll on and actually are NOT forced to read such things yeah?

Burn,

I know that. I'm not honestly asking you to actually block it. It's in context; we were discussing that perhaps the company would want you to redact news, and by association, someone who doesn't like such software also chipped in and asked for you to purposely throw the baby out with the bathwater. That's all.

Here are some of the issues reported that we've been investigating:
  • Troops not following Inspiring Charge in certain scenarios: There are rare occasions when bots will not follow Optimus Primes/Megatron's Inspiring Charge.
      This is currently under investigation.
  • Medics continuously healing each other: After deploying two healers, it is possible for them to start healing each other and not target other bots.
This will be fixed in this week's content release.
Issues related to the Shock Tower:
In certain scenarios, bots outside the buildings range can be damaged by its attack.
When hacked by a bot on offense, the Shock Tower will not always deal damage to all the surrounding buildings in its range.
    • Both of these issues will be fixed in the next client release.

These are just a few examples of the reports that we've received from you, and we continue to work hard to improve your experience with the game every day.

I love how the title makes it sound like Triple Changers are launching this week when it's more likely next week or the week after. Probably a leaderboard event.

EDIT: I didn't notice the special campaign. So that's nice.

Not that I suddenly dislike Spring or (especially) Sandstorm... But I am hoping for a Titan Master version of each. Maybe in a PotP Box set. Or the series after PotP. Whatever.

"Troops not following Inspiring Charge in certain scenarios: There are rare occasions when bots will not follow Optimus Primes/Megatron's Inspiring Charge"

Lol, this has been an issue since the beta, is not rare, and they're just now claiming to investigate the issue. Although it is kinda in character for individual Decepticons to have a 50/50 chance of actually following Megatron.

I really wish Hasbro would spend time/money on an expansion or sequel to Transformers: Devastation or redo/remaster the 2004 PS2 Transformers game, instead of wasting money on pay-to-win mobile games that keep getting canned after the devs anger the fanbase enough.

The pay to play method is a money maker. Very little R&D, very little $$$ to develop, and rather than having people pay for it once, they pay, and pay, and pay, and pay...

I don't like it, but if you look at the time & money that goes into a standard platform, and the fact that people just buy it once for $60 (or wait for it to go on sale in a year for $20), a cell phone game that causes addicted people to dump thousands into it is a safer investment.

Like you said, less R&D required. A lot of these games are just reskinned with the core program adapted from another similar type game.

I personally would love to see a Age of Empires/Command & Conquer style Transformers game, but I know it's not going to happen because that style of game would simply not generate a lot of money.

Just wanted to drop a note for any interested parties, Autobots We Rise is actively recruiting. We are a growing group with a minimum of 1000 points per person for Alliance Events.

We are a group of adults, generally, and war 1 to 2 times a week.

We have no minimum to join, but expect you to pull your weight and grow with the rest of the team.

Well I got a fancy new phone upgrade for free from o2 cos my previous phone had problems AFTER i'd resigned contact and had chosen all the credits rather than the phone upgrade. So yay! But anyways it means i can try out stuffs what didn't run on my old phone. Downloaded Forged to Fight and quite like that despite it's simple gameplay cos it's action and has some movieverse characters for me. Not sure about this one cos doesn't seem like my kind of game but hey I'll try it out now for the christmas bonus and see how it goes.

By the way

Space Ape has informed us that new combiners will now be part of Transformers: Earth Wars. Autobot Combiner VICTORION and Decepticon Combiner MENASOR will be joining the game very soon in the next couple of weeks.

Several Transformers related websites have different info regarding these updates and the exclusive we have been given is Victorion's ultimate move.

Skill description:
  • Noble Sacrifice: Deal heavy damage and disable enemies over a large area while losing 20% of your max Health. If this ability kills you, disable the enemy base for 10 seconds.
  • Cooldown: 30 seconds
  • Damage (Level 1): 880 in an area

You can see this move in the video below

Both debuted this weekend. Only the 2* versions are available at the moment, 3* and 4* versions in the morning after the event.

It'd be a bit odd for at least Victorion not to be six bot, considering Rust Dust is both in-game, and really clearly slapped on her chest like the toy. Plus the Autobots don't have a six-team yet, right? So it'd just even out the combiners.

Other than Devastator these appear in fiction and have G1 toy reresentation:
Raiden - Trainbots
Landcross - Multiforce
Liokaiser - Breastforce
Dinoking/Monstructor - Dinoforce/Monster Pretenders

Superion is a six bot combiner for game purposes, Powerglide forms his gun. So far all combiners have been roughly equal to each other in composition and abilities, but evidently Menasor is going to be five parts while Victorion is six. Apparently the reasoning is that the Rust Renegades have all been in the game since launch while Motormaster is a fairly new character who will have been harder to get at 3 or 4 stars.

Apparently the reasoning is that the Rust Renegades have all been in the game since launch while Motormaster is a fairly new character who will have been harder to get at 3 or 4 stars.

I guess that makes sense. I was kinda hoping for Offroad to be put in somehow.

I was betting on one of Offroad, Brake-Beck, or Dead End taking the chest car slot somehow. Apparently not. Therefore I'm not sure why they even added him, since the game was released after Combiner Wars was mostly over.

Well I for one am not nearly as active as I used to be, but yes, lots of people still play it.

It's been a while since we had some proper news from the Space Ape / Backflip mobile strategy game Transformers: Earth Wars, but just this past weekend was its second anniversary of going live and still going strong! Are you still playing the game? If so, you might recognise some of the highlights that were put together for this clip embedded below, found on the game's official Facebook page.

Take a look below, and let us know what you think or thought of the game if you played, are playing, or are thinking of playing Earth Wars!

Still playing! And, to be honest, Furman’s writing for it has gotten so much better since the beginning. There are even good jokes and references to other media! :D
