Over all the bot mode is pretty sweet. Not really diggin the face though. The legs look really good to me aswell.
He's sure to be pricey at retail. Prolly the 60 dollar range just like Prime was which will make for an easy pass since i'm not completely convinced on Sentinel Primes awesomeness.

I do like him, though he is for the most part a shell-former but then they were always going to have trouble converting a long smooth box into a movieverse bot.
I like, I shall buy.

To each his own, but I think Peaugh is trying to get these DOTM vids up ASAP so we can see them. IIRC, he just got SP that day, so it's not going to be perfect.
I usually enjoy his reviews, along with baltmatrix, optibotimus, and BikerTrashWolf.

He has no agenda, not trying to sell us anything. I like these reviews more than most others.

Yeah, I thought about that too. I thought he was taller than ROTF OP from the pictures we saw before.

No, I think that's a good point. Sentinel Prime seems back heavy and has some balance issues since he doesn't have big flat foot to support the weight. We can see he has to lean forward in order to stand right. Could be same amount of time (or more or less) for us to make him stand.

I'm not trying to be a prick, but isn't the whole point of getting these videos up as soon as possible to get a bigger share of the revenue-sharing from YouTube?

Not all of the reviewers. I know Peaugh started out merely as a reviewer, with no intention of revenue sharing. I don't even know if he does it now, but if he does, it's just a perk on the side, more or less.

Truly apples and oranges. And if they were all the same fruit, you would be mistaken sir.
As for the rest, their is a lot going on with this figure. I really like it and will be getting one.
Does anyone else get the cape vibe from the split panels on his back? Maybe I just have cape sportin bots on my mind...

I think the statement is more to contrast with the reviewers that are sponsored by one toy sales site or another. The feeling some get, whether valid or not, is that they are more motivated to sell the toy, and not necessarily give an unbiased review.
Personally, I really like Peaugh's reviews, in part, BECAUSE they are mostly unedited. You get to see the good and the bad about the figure. I like that sometimes parts pop off, or here where the figure appears top heavy, it showcases the good and bad about the figure.
As it stands, I'm pretty excited about this fig.
I suspect he will make it to my "permanent" shelf.
I REALLY hope there is an Alpha Trion repaint.

Yeah that's what I've been thinking the back panels were supposed to be. I guess it makes him seem more important or noble.

SENTINEL PRIME is a legendary warrior, thought lost long ago. The strength of his will and the power of his sword are spoken of in reverent whispers by AUTOBOT and DECEPTICON alike. Now that he has returned, the final defeat of MEGATRON and the DECEPTICONS is assured.

So he's definately going to get his ass handed to him and someone else will have to step up to finish the job.
Unless they take the literal route of Deus Ex Machina, in which case its probably not a good idea to put such epic spoilers on the toy package.

That aside, Peaugh I can tell your passionate about this and I DO enjoy watching your reviews. Keep it up!!
As for this figure I am not really a fan of it. The red isn't as fire engine red as I would like. He appears too top heavy. His sword looks like it is junk and the figure looks bland overall. Not a fan and I'll pass. Is it just me or does this DOTM line not really excite you? It is just not doing it for me. That is unless some better stuff comes through the pipeline later.

And man I'd like to know how Peaugh gets all of these figures months in advance of release. He's pretty lucky if you ask me. But I do enjoy his reviews better than others. I think he could take some lighting and camera pointers from optibotimus though.

Hes a great toy, only thing i dislike is how the panels are to be forced when in vehicle mode, otherwise its a great toy.

I agree with you, I've never had to "have" any of the movie figures, nor did I care for their look, but this one looks great AND movie accurate (so did that Optimus)...
