The Transformers Galaxy - Hong Kong Fans Group have gotten their hands on the highly anticipated Transformers DOTM Human Alliance Soundwave with Laserbeak and Dylan Gould. It appears Laserbeak transforms into a shoulder mounted weapon that can be manned by Gould. An extensive gallery of the figure has been uploaded to their facebook page, which we've mirrored a portion of below.

Eh, I don't hate this mold quite as much now. The fact that he can stand upright helps change my mind about this guy. And validates my claim that earlier pictures were taken by a shitty photographer, so game on with my decision to patiently await the mighty Soundwave. :grin:

Um targetmaster laserbeak? big deal. You said it yourself its the movieverse..its not g1 or anything else established yet, so technically they arent messing anything up. Apparently this laserbeak can turn into a gun i mean hell he turned into a pink midget bumblebee for christ's sake

That said, he is so very very mine on sight, looks great. I heart Laserbeak as shoulder cannon.

Very nice. The legs are kinda puny. Still love the human allience line. Hopefully we'll get a HA Sideways with Alice soon.Be nice to get HA Topspin(weaponized)and something with the Ferrari. Saw a mock up of a HA Jolt with Leo on youtube once, be nice too.

I'd wager he's not very possible. His feet are TINY and based on the picture only two of the three clamps actually rest on the ground. That alone makes him look impossible to balance outside a default pose.

Wow! Soundwave is a butterfly. He has a RAGE face on his back to scare away enemies! :o)

Joking aside, It sort of looks weird in places, but Barricade did just fine with the majority of the car on his upper body, so I'll reserve judgement till I get him. I have no doubts about getting him.

Edit: Also, I may be the only one who's more disappointed with Laserbeak than anything...I didn't see those straight-red legs before.

Love the license plate and the car mode is pretty nice, but overall this one's just way too weird looking. Those legs and feet look terrible.

This mold doesn't look very good at all, but I don't care, since I was never planning to get it. I'm just glad the Deluxe one looks so much better. It is encouraging, though, that although neither have silver paint, this one has a silvery plastic, which means the Deluxe could as well. Although I'd still really prefer silver paint, the silvery plastic is infinitely better than the flat grey used on DOTM Sideswipe.

Once again what could have been! We have another case where the f*cking alt mode looks way better than the robot. There is an upcoming deluxe Soundwave coming up yes? Waaaaay better than this POS and HA Jazz is awesome in so many ways...way to f*ck it up again HasTak! ;)^

Soundwave is one of my favs and to see him this way looks great! Soundwave has always dealt with the fact that 60-70% of his body is upper body (see G1). And this guy makes Soundwave like he is going to pound on Bumblebee, which is always a good thing.

Wow, Laserbeak's legs are really red, but he can perch on Soundwave's arm and transforms into a shoulder cannon!
Personally I love Soundwave's hulking proportions, and the "SUPERIOR" license plate and the Decepticon insignias on the subwoofers are great touches. He aught to size up nicely with Legends Ravage and HA Barricade too.

I actually like Soundwave's satellite mode better I think. I just can't think of him as a car(though I like the car) who serves as the Decepticon intelligence hub. Laserbeak's weapon mode looks neat.

Well, the lack of silver paint and the legs are kind of a deal-breaker. While the gray plastic can be remedied with a can of silver spray [and a lot of dry-brushing over the black and blue plastic], the legs just look horrid to me. I dunno, maybe it's the blue plastic.

It's a shame, because the top half of him is so cool, with unobtrusive kibble and movie-accurate proportions. The alt mode's also realistic, and Lazerbeak doubling as a canon is great.

Maybe I should stick to the deluxe version, for more accurate scale, as well as to save some funds. From what I saw of the pics in another thread, the legs on the deluxe Soundwave seems to be more accurate, although the roof hanging off of his back is putting me off a little--hopefully, it's just a mistransformation.

Way to go Hasbro! you F'ed up probably one the most respectable and awesome Transformers thats been around since Transformers started in the 80's!

First off, lack of any type of color, just that damn gray bland plastic that you find at cheap toys at Big lots or the Dollar store just kills it for me.

Then comes the legs, this i Feel is out of proportion to the figure its self and looks out of place.

And the BIGGEST complaint is the feet! where in the hell did Hasbro designers go wrong here? Was they up all night drinking and smokin bud? this is has to be the most F'ed looking feet ive ever saw on just about any Transformer and i thought HA SS was bad, his feet is awesome compared to this.

Score is 0 for me and a BIG, HUGE, PASS and now ive save myself $30 and ill use this towards GI Joe or 3rd party NON HASBRO stuff.

I has such high hopes for Soundwave, but again Hasbro lets me down....again

I like the figure. Alt mode is really nice, and Bot mode is nice, but why dear Hasbro would you not paint this Merc silver. I could forgive grey plastic on the Deluxe version,but not on the HA. Well looks like its airbrush time for this one. I hope the upgradesade ñd production and paint poor Soudwave.

The positives are they got creative with Laserbeak, the license plate is a nice homage and the Decepticon insignias look like they're on speakers.

The bad is the lack of chrome and the fact that the robot mode looks like an ultra class upper body put onto a lanky deluxe lower body.

In short, nice homages on a dodgy body design. As the old saying goes; no matter how much you polish a turd, it's still a turd.

I am very disappointed now i see the final product. It's not a bad figure but the feet are hideous and why is it not silver and why again the allspark baby blue? I'm getting sick of that colour. If a car/character is silver the toy needs to be silver as well period.

A gallery does not mean a US release, as Seibertron gets his figures online well ahead of brick-and-mortar stores. Also, the galleries are of the Japanese version, with no differences.
