Fellow Seibertronian Maverick Prime has spotted the first wave of Transformers Cyberverse in Mexico.
He found all classes except for th scout class. They were all priced reasonably in comparison to the prices of the same toys in the US

T just found Cyberverse toys out at retail here in Mexico. The prices are in Mexican Pesos, so "deluxes" are 17.50 USD, Ultras are 25 and "leaders" are 35, all approximates, as the exchange rate varies, but it's usually around 20MXN-1USD

At the other end of the world, in New Zealand, we have the very first sighting of the second wave of Cybeverse toys. Specifically the ultra class which includes Shadow Striker and a voyager sized Shockwave. They were $38.00 NZD, which is also in the ballpark of the prices seen for these figures in the US. These were found by Inikalord and ssjkazer over on the TFW boards and we even got a special treat showing us how Shockwave looks like if we use his extra tank arm (which has elbow artciulation) as a robot arm instead of the giant blaster arm (which has no elbow articulation, like Energon Shockblast).

Wow, looks even better than the already very cool Deluxe.
But will this voyager sized beat the Battalion Shockwave (which is my favorite Shockwave toy ever)

Warrior shall be Shockblast, Battalion shall be Shockwave (most g1 accurate) and this Ultra shall be Laserwave.

We'd need a gray repaint for a Shackwave.

I think I prefer deluxe Shockwave. I'm a little disappointed that the Voyager basically just unplgs his arm gun and slaps it on the tank mode. They could at least leave him with two hands instead of a hand and a nub.

Hasbro has a new reveal for all of you. Just as it happened in Robots in Disguise, the Transformers Cyberverse line is getting a giant Bumblebee toy. This new toy was revealed by Hasbro on vk.com, a Russian social media website. No info is given in regards to this toy but it seems to be quite simple but not a one step transformation. It also seems to have electronics for sounds. It is hard to know if this beats the record of the RID Bumblebee for being the biggest Bumblebee toy ever made. Let us know what you think of the toy!

If you're going to make a transforming car at that scale, should at least make it a convertible so that Barbie can finally get an upgrade from that POS pink plastic Malibu she's been driving for 30 years.

^This. Or Supreme Class Cheetor from Beast Machines, the expensive lesson that Hasbro has apparently learned NOTHING from.

It's an idiotic idea and a waste of plastic that's probably going to shelfwarm like crazy. Welp, here's hoping there aren't too many Leader-class figures in Siege, because unless this guy gets axed or made an HTS exclusive then a lot of us are never going to see them in stores because this piece of crap will be hogging their shelf spot.

For smeg's sake, Hasbro, when are you going to learn to stop making giant toys of the LITTLE yellow characters?! It was an enormous failure the first time you did it, and it hasn't gone too great the other times!

Why not? Contrary to the "titan" Dragonstorm, the previous big-ass Bee was CHEAP. That's why it did sell out pretty fast. At least over here.

Big Dragonstorm, however, is way too expensive for it's intended market so that's why it's still shelfwarming even to this day. This next Bee is sure to be at a low price point so it WILL sell out quickly.

As fast as the big RiD Bee moved at the Walmarts around here a couple years back once Thanksgiving hit, this is definitely one to just ignore and move on if it isn't for you. Let Hasbro get their money sometimes, it's fine.

Titans Return toys are shelfwarming, even at discounted retailers, so should Hasbro stop making generations toys?

Most shelf warming is done when there's bad distribution and/or too much of the same wave is ordered. Especially when there's repeats of the same toy in different waves.

Transformers Cyberverse is clearly not everyone's cup of tea, nor was it meant to be. One thing is undeniale though, it is bringing very niche characters to the forefront unlike ever before, case in point the large seeker cast which is also getting actual toys aimed at kids.

The case contents for wave 2 was revealed earlier this week and we do see some characters getting shortpacked. So for parents wanting to introduce these characters to their kids of have them as part of your collection, you know which one to be on the lookout.

Ultra Class (voyager size)
1x Shockwave
2x Bumblebee
1x Shadow Striker

Image

Warrior Class (deluxe size)
3x Optimus Prime
2x Megatron
2x Windblade
1x Acid Storm

Image

Scout Class (legends size)
2x Bumblebee
2x Windblade
3x Optimus Prime
1x Slipstream

We havent seen much of the actual war displayed on screen so this is great. I really wish we had decent toys that looked like these designs, they are great.

So Hasbro can do a lot of four in a case of Ultras, but for Generations Voyagers they can only do two? I really don't get Hasbro's logic here. Sure I understand two to a case of Leaders since they make for a big box, but that's clearly not the reasoning behind the Voyager cases so what gives? Things would be a lot easier to find if they put more in a case compared to stores often ordering only one case at a time and selling out to a single person that wants the two characters.

Voyagers are 4 a case I believe, 2 of 2 figures. Simply a matter of streamlining logistics and spreading out releases as the bigger the figure, the tougher the sell as the saying goes.

And surprise, surprise, Bumblebee is packed 2 a case (again?). He has no problems selling from what I've seen however, from Wave 1 I've seen Grimlock and Starscream more often.

You would think, but no, only 2 per case. I had ordered TR Sentinel Prime and Galvatron from TFSource and they mailed them right in their sealed case.

A Transformer that only transforms halfway seems like selling a jigsaw puzzle with pieces missing. Hope they eventually do produce a better Slipstream toy, at least.

I'm really disapointed with this decision. Because I would have liked proper legend/ions Cyberverse designs for my characters collections. Take not much space and relatively easy on the wallet. But those halformers are just teases of what they could have been.

Thanks to user chuckdawg1999, we have an English review of Cyberverse Ultra Class Shockwave. Chuck bought his off Amazon, and came nice and early! He himself said:

Ultra Class Shockwave is a surprising addition to the Cyberverse line, it is by far the figure with the most articulation and most complicated transformation. Much like the Warrior class version, this Shockwave features an unobtrusive gimmick that if anything adds to the figure. If you're going to buy one Ultra Class figure, make it Shockwave. If you're going to buy one Cyberverse figure period, make it Shockwave.

The review detailed the figure, showing off Ultra Shockwave's surprising articulation, as well as his "Wave Cannon" Action Attack. The figure itself has a much more complicated transformation that the Warrior, which involves folding the cannon to his back, and then folding out an arm that doesn't have one. This also means you can allow him to have a cannon-less arm.

Reviews of his fellow Wave 2 figures can be found here.

Chuck seemed very happy about the figure, but what about you? Let us know in the Pub forums below!

Yeah, I'm really glad I was right about the hidden arm. It would have been so easy for Hasbro to just make the gun pop off the end of his arm and call it a day, but moving the whole arm out of the way and slipping out a third arm is a real stroke of genius on their part.
